You might be right, but I seldom see them, apart from the family and romance sections where all they ever do is basically just antagonise men like bitter souls and destroy relationships/marriages.

- Were common Yorubas predominantly ever into polygyny (I know about Chiefs and Kings) before the arrival of Islam in Yorubaland?

- How come most Yoruba women of yore had so much independence unlike a lot of other African women and women in medieval Europe?

I know. But the whole drama is basically just stale now. It ended on page 50 and folks should've let it die there.

Anyway, Let me break it down for you so everyone can stop flogging a dead horse. After this, I'm not coming back here.

This is what happened:

1). BABE3 sent money a few times to coogs, including her school fees, for tax avoidance (or whatever it’s). And coogs’ accountant, Arif, paid her back, using numerous credit/debit card details. So since there have been charge backs, evidently the credit/debit cards issued by Arif were stolen. In legal-terms/litigation, coogs and Arif can be charged for: conspiracy, fraud, racketeering, and theft. BABE3 on her part can claim innocence since she’s the one responsible for paying the charge backs, she lives in a different country, and she can provide evidence(s) that she wired money to coogs via WU. All she just needs to do is report the case to the right authorities and it will be treated as an online dating scam.

2). Apart from the gifts coogs bought for here via Arif, his accountant, with those stolen cards – all the owners of credit/debit cards used in paying for things under her name got their money back. Hence the charge backs. So she’s the victim here cos she has to pay everything back.

3). If they were to drag this issue to court/law-enforcement-agencies: coogs will most likely get sentenced to prison with his accountant, Arif – even if he claims he doesn’t know how Arif got the stolen details. Obviously, there’s a conspiracy and they will look at it from the conspiracy angle.

4). If coogs ever gets indicted and sentenced to prison, he can claim he’s unemployed and can’t afford to pay compensation charges to BABE3. So with that, it’s lose lose for both parties. Coogs will get a criminal record, while BABE3 will have to pay the charge backs and deal with the bad credit herself.

Once you look at it, you will see that there won’t be any winner, if they were to keep dragging the issue. The best thing for both parties to do is settle the issue offline amicably. If cooler heads had prevailed, this shouldn’t have been on NL in the first place. But when it got here, folks should’ve intervened, with matured advice. However, it seems everyone was enjoying the circus, especially those who have personal vendetta against coogs – just to shame him. And perhaps coogs also contributed to it due to the supposed threats he made about leaking her nak3d pictures (that’s just “hearsay” from other parties; I wasn’t there when that happened).

Regardless, you lot just need to let this issue die and stop flogging a dead horse. It’s already over 300 pages of unnecessary bickering, hate, alternate handles etc..
