Amazingly, the Western coys still outsource their Call Centres to India where the financial details of their customers are routinely compromised.

That's cos they're more organised and they don't do it loosely like Nigerians. Majority of Indian scams look legit from the outside cos of the organisational ponzi structures and they do it big.

It's just basically like the crack era. The Colombians, Cubans, Mexicans, Italians et al were the ones bringing the drugs in. But the AAs sold it loosely on every corner. Hence when the war on drugs started - they were the easy targets. Same is applicable here.

Please, this has nothing to do with Nigerian men vs. Nigerian women. I'm actually shocked that she's Nigerian, born and raised in Nigeria, yet she claimed she's naive and not complicit in the act. If she was born in Iowa, Alaska, or Siberia - then I'll definitely give her a pass. I don't know any Nigerian chic over 10 years old born and raised in the UK who doesn't know what Nigerian scam is. Nigerian scam is like the crack era in America and everyone knows one uncle, friend, or brother who's involved in it. Even UK rappers of Nigerian descent always drop naija scam bars in their lyrics...and like I posited yesterday, when you hear, "ya bank crash like the Lehman brothers...and with deets I can fix you anything" - you should definitely know what time it's.

When Nigerian women get involved in naija scams, they're always complicit in it and they benefit from the proceeds. Naija dons don't even use naija chics, they prefer foreigners - so it has nothing to do with Nigerian women. You're a foreigner and a perfect fit, not Nigerian women.

Err...let me cite an example. There was a thread on here one time and I saw a chic post loads of new shoes from River Island. As soon I saw that, I knew it was naija scam and some guy must have got them for her cos when chics buy shoes, they don't just go to the same store and keep buying shoes without wearing them. They buy from different places - same way guys do. Now imagine someone like that coming here one today to tell us that "she was naive" and the guy scammed her. I definitely won't take her seriously.

I'm not saying BABE3's case is the same and that she might be complicit in the whole shebang cos a lot of the things involved here are about payment of fees, bills, hotel bookings, flight tickets etc.. However, once she started getting credit/debit card numbers loosely, that's enough to know what's going on. One person can't have that many card details, without knowing the balance on the cards, and start telling you to "try if this one is going to work" and "oh, if it doesn't work, I'll give you another one" blah blah blah. C'mon now?

Now you're getting the bigger picture. Sometimes in life it's not about being right/wrong, especially when you're in a precarious situation you know you have a very slim chance of winning. You just have to be humble enough to do what you can do to save yourself.

I read everything about suicide threats and all other stuffs. And it looks somewhat similar to my ex, albeit the fall out had nothing to do with money or other stuffs cos I don't get chics involved in my money and vice versa. It had to do with the fact that she think she gave me everything she had emotionally but I never reciprocated it the right way. When it got to that stage and I knew she had a dossier of dirt I did in Uni, while we were together, she'll most likely use against me - I had to do what I had to do and allow the ego. You know how it's when you're from the road, regardless what stage you move to - dirt will always follow you, till you can find an alternative and create a new reality for yourself. And that's chic I saw regularly at least twice a week and we did spend weeks together sometimes. So she was privy to loads of things and the crowd I was running with in Uni. Then she has two crazy cousins that I know will most likely fvck me over from the blind side. To save myself and also avoid watching my back - I had to make sure she was alright and kept everything cordial till she healed completely. And we're still cool now.

See loyalty only comes when things are good and rosy - when a chic has nothing to lose, loyalty is the last thing on her mind. That's when she'll most likely kill you and kill herself. Like she said, she's doesn't care if she goes to jail, but you have to go to jail as well. So why not kill two birds with one stone and settle this thing amicably?

Are you privy to cases involving dating sites frauds where most of these women are complicit in the whole shebang, but they always classify them as victims? You can do a quick google search. You don't even need a solicitor for that. Also, whoever reports first always get the upperhand cos the feds won't care about ya statement and that will most likely affect court proceedings.

If I can't get my money back, wherever I am, I'm satisfied that he's been punished for his crimes. A bunch of other girls will be satisfied too.

she's the one that caused the confusion. she said the fees needed to be paid urgently so she could collect her certificate. i was in the UK, the fastest way i could go about it was card payment. i tried moving money from naija but i got stuck cos i hadn't operated my naija account in aeons. anyways, i travelled to naija ASAP so she wouldn't blame me for not getting her certificate.

on getting to naija, she started calling me that she couldn't wait any longer and we should pay by any means. i told my accountant to make the payment. he did! as soon as he did, i told her the payment was complete. then she turned around to say they told her that morning that cash payment was the preferred method due to late charges. so i asked her to tell the school to reverse the payment so we can pay in cash. she never did till this day.

he's in birmingham! not in india.
i have a personal relationship with my accountant. i have known him for years and we do help each other out in any way we can.

it has gone beyond amicable resolution. let's go to court.

Coogs, I don't really want to be too active on this but I'm going to tell you the honest truth cos I see you as a brother. You can't win this battle. Once evidence starts involving numerous credit/debit card details - it's racketeering/fraud, regardless of whatever accountant you have. She might be complicit in the act consciously/subconsciously, however when you study how fraud charges are judged, especially anything that looks like naija-esque scams - she'll always be looked at as the victim.

Also, you can't win against a scorned woman who's trying to fight you with all she's got. Then you've got other folks on here living in the UK involved in the whole conspiracy and are determined to pursue it to the end. So there's no silver lining anywhere apart from just finding a way to resolve the whole issue amicably. Take the high road and the both of you need to talk offline like adults, rather than keep making a scene on here.

When someone keeps sending you card details loosely, that alone should tell you something is wrong, regardless if it is from an "accountant". So why didn't you tell him to stop? And who tells a naij person from a next country to pay for anything via card details, especially with something as personal as school fees?

I'm sure you know you're somewhat complicit in the act but ya holy grail is to report first - once you do that, you'll most likely be exonerated and this will be treated as a next naij chat room scam. And you're a lady so you should enjoy the privilege as well.

1). I don't know any schools would reject card payment they have already accepted and ask for cash payment, if there's nothing wrong with the payment except it is a charge back. How long did it take before they rejected the card payment?

2). You live in the UK but why is ya accountant in India? What do you need an accountant in a foreign country for if you don't run a big business cos I doubt a professional accountant in a next country would be interested in meagre $50 transactions? Even if you have a registered company for whatever contract job you do, the accountant you get for that only deals with ya taxes - not ya everyday spendings.

I think the both of you need to take this offline and resolve it amicably. You're adults and you were together for three years before this madness. That is a long time to have a proper strong bond, that is bigger than emotional fantasies.
