Most Nigerians are terrible, greedy, selfish, opportunists and wicked. One of the major factors causing high price of garri is that the processors deliberately delay the the commodity to be available in the market, so the price can go up, because the prices of some other food stuffs have surge up Farmers that actually plant the cassava do not make enough money as such. |

Kobojunkie: 1. What you are saying is that God lied to the people of Israel to cun them to accept Moses as His servant. He never intended to speak directly to them as He said in Exodus 19. His plan all along was to deceive the people into allowing Moses to be their guide in the desert?
2. You said Daniel prophesied regarding the end of the Old and the beginning of the New. Well, the same end that Daniel had a vision regarding is the very same end that Joel equally wrote of when he announced that God would pour out His Spirit on all the young men and women in the land of Judah(Zion included). I mean there was only one Last Day/Endtime for the Nation of Judah(Zion) — the end of the old order which ushered in the beginning of the new order. And it was during those very same Last Days of God's Judgement against the Nation of Israel(and Judah) in the Land of Canaan under His Old Law of Moses that John, the Revelator, one of the people of Israel in the Land of Judah at the time, wrote his book of Revelation.
3. Now you are trying to insert words into my mouth. First of all, there is no such thing as more Holy and more righteous. What I instead said is that the Prophets of Old were holy and righteous men. Second, there are no New Testament Prophets given that Jesus Christ, the New Testament, never included prophets as part of His Will and Law in the Kingdom of God. Rather, the prophets written in the book of Acts were men and women who resulted from God's Old Testament declaration that He would pour out His Spirit on all in the land during the Last Days.
4. WOW!!
I see now where the bulk of the problem probably comes from so, I think it is best I exit the conversation at this point in time. It has been nice! Of course, you need to exit or go back to your spiritual leader/ mentor to give you another lie. Because you guys are liar! |

Kobojunkie: I finally found an old discussion of this sort and decided to go with the response there instead. What most people who claim to believe don't realize is that God's original plan had been to speak directly to the people of Israel Himself. But the people, too afraid, demanded that Moses speak to them on behalf of God instead. It is for this reason that God of Israel, YHWH, set up His system of Prophets.
1. The God of Israel, YHWH, is the one who instituted the Prophet's system as part of His Old Law of Moses
2. The same God of Israel announced through Daniel that before the end of Last Days — the conclusion of His Judgment against the Nation of Israel(and Judah), He would bring to an end the time of the Prophets and visions.
3. The same God of Israel, YHWH, announced through the prophet Joel that before the end of the Last Days, He would pour out His Spirit on all young men and women in the land of Zion. Jesus Christ was the last prophet sent by God to the people of Israel as this is noted both in the parable spoken by Jesus Christ Himself. John the Baptist was the last of the Old Covenant prophets sent by the God of Israel. Jesus Christ confirmed this Himself. All the other prophets that came after those two are a result of God pouring out His Spirit on all of the daughters and sons of Zion in the land during the same generation that the disciples lived in. This all took place about 1900 years ago.
Paul was aware of this. He knew that the prophets in the land during the last days were not, in fact, prophets like the old — sent by God to the people of Israel. The "Prophets" in the land at the time were not messengers of God like the Old Prophets. They were not holy and righteous men like the Old Prophets that God had previously sent to His people in His Name; these "prophets" at the time were sinners many of whom were due to be cursed by God for their refusal to obey His Law. God didn't send them to any man or woman in the land of Israel. Neither were they to deliver messages to anyone using His name. The "Prophets" in the land at the time were rather a result of God opening up the fountain of communication so He could directly communicate with everyone in the land before His final judgment was pronounced upon them. It is for that reason that Paul refused to heed their warnings, and chose instead to do that which was before Him. It was never the God's plan to speak directly with all the people of Israel. He spoke through the certain people, called prophets. Even, Noah, the first man who the Bible refered to as a prophet had to receive messages from God and deliver them to the people of his time. If it was intention of God to speak directly with them, He would have easily done that instead of sending Noah to them. God came down on mountain Sinai in the cloud and darkness with great thunder to make the Israelites fear Him and believe Moses His servant. Not that He wanted to speak directly with them. That was why He warned them not to come near the mountain. And He called Moses alone to come over into the darkness. ' And Moses said unto the people, fear not, for God is come to prove you and His fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not'. Exodus 20:20 Stop lying. Daniel prophesied the end of the old order and the beginning of new order, not about putting an end to prophecies and vision. You shot yourself in the leg. If there would be an end to vision and prophecy, why did Joel said ' your young will see vision, your old will dream? Why did the same God of the spirit of the prophets gave vision to John to warn the 7 churches in Asia minor? There's no where that the Bible says the prophets of old were holy and more righteous than the new testament prophets. You claim there were no more prophets after Christ, you are still saying the new testament prophets were sinners whom God cursed. Perhaps you should give an example. None among all the prophets of old was holy. They were all sinners like every other men. Moses was a murderer and adulterer who married a strange woman contrary to the law that God gave the Israelites through him, Samuel was never holy, Elijah was a murderer, so also Elisha. Isaiah confessed himself he was a sinner. Nobody can be pure in the face of God, except through the precious blood of Jesus. Only the righteousness of Christ can make anyone a righteous before God. It is not by your struggles and perfection. The scriptures says, ' He knew no sin, but was made a sin for us, so that by Him, we might become righteousness of God.' The nation of Israel symbolizes the church. The whole old testament is the shadow of the new testament. Old testament is the type, while the new testament is antitype. God is no longer dealing with the nation of Israel, He is dealing with the church. There have been prophets in the church since the beginning of the church on the day of pentecost, as they were used to be in Israel in the old order. It is either ignorance or satanic for any one to be equating old prophets with Christ. Such a person is denying His Lordship. Jesus is greater than Abraham, He is greater than Moses and any of the prophets of old. He is greater than the law and the temple. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. The beginning and the end. Jehovah witness is not much different from Islam, even worst. |

Kobojunkie: I had to drill down to this portion from all the news you were trying to make again. You still haven't answered the question at all.
Why didn't Paul regard Agabus and the other prophets the same way he would have the Prophets of Old or even Jesus Christ? Why? There is a reason why Paul who did acknowledge that God had made some prophets in the last days, refused to heed the warnings of the same prophets. Here you are. You digress in a bit to cunningly looking for a way to escape from this. No way. Do you think you are conversing with an ignorant. Of all the questions thrown to you , you fail to explain any, instead you keep babbling. According to you, Paul did not heed to Agabus, simply because he was not a prophet like the prophets of old? The same Agabus who predicted there would be famine, and the whole church heeded to the warning, before the prediction came to pass. You may keep fooling yourselves among the members of your cult-like sect, not the knowledgeable Christians. There were prophets, there are prophets, and there will be prophets till Christ returns. You may choose to continue living in delusion. That's your own cup of tea. |

Kobojunkie: 1. What you instead did was pull verses out of context to assert an idea that does not even comply with that which is stated in Scripture. There is a reason why Paul did not heed the warning given to him by the many prophets of his day including Agabus, something that would have been unheard of had it been they were indeed prophets anointed by the Almighty Himself like the prophets of Old. I am used to you folks. With one side of your mouth you claim your bible is authority yet with the other you accuse the one you call God of Lying!
2. To answer that question, you would have to go back through much of the Old Texts but no point since you will likely not even get it. So, let's focus on your claim regarding the person of Jesus Christ. ▶ But you still have not answered my question. Jesus Christ declared that John was the last Old Covenant prophet to come. Did Jesus Christ lie? YES OR NO! ▶ Jesus Christ equally said in Matthew 21 that He was the last prophet, so did Jesus Christ lie? YES OR NO!
3. Jesus Christ revealed it by way of the Parable, or should I say, a mod on the parable of the Vineyard owner from Isaiah 5 in Matthew 21 vs 33 -46. Jesus Christ first informed you that John was the Last of the Old Covenant Prophets — He described John as being less than the least in the Kingdom of God meaning John was indeed the last of those called by God of Old. Then Jesus Christ went on to condemn all who would come after Him as false Prophets and Teachers, beginning with the religious leaders of His time along with their doctrines and traditions.
4. Um... Again, saying Jesus Christ is more than a prophet does not reduce the magnitude of the lie you accuse Him of. Jesus Christ said He is indeed the last and He proclaimed that all others would come after Him particularly those who would use His name are false Prophets and false Teachers. So, what in the world are you on about? Quoting out of context? When the Bible says ' there were prophets'. When the Bible named Agabus, 'A prophet '. It is you people that are fun of twisting the scriptures to suite the opinion of the originator of your evil sect. Quote it the way Jesus said he was the last of all prophets. Quote it the way Jesus put it that John was the last of all prophets of old. Even if He said John was the last prophet of old, does it mean there can never be prophets afterwards? Paul did not obey the instructions of Agabus, does it mean he did not regard Agabus as a prophet? The same Paul that said, 'he gave some to be apostle, some to be prophet '. Stop twisting the scriptures. God will judge you! |

Kobojunkie: 1. Let me play along in this display of ignorance what is in fact written in scripture, for a bit mind you!
▪︎ If we are to believe that Agabus was indeed a prophet chosen and sent by YHWH --- anointed by God --, wouldn't that mean then that starting from David and all through to Jesus Christ, all of the prophets who prophesied that Jesus Christ, the Messiah, would be the last prophet sent by God --- Jesus Christ Himself testified to this --- all lied?
¤ Wouldn't it mean that YWYH, the one who sen5 Jesus Christ, got it all wrong about Jesus Christ being the Messiah or even His Last? ¤ Wouldn't that equally mean you worship Him in vain?
2. And no, I am antireligion since Jesus Christ condemned religion beginning with the religious leaders of His time and their doctrines and traditions which He proclaimed were all lies -- antichrist. Christianity is famously known to be modeled after that very same religion that Jesus Christ condemned and its over 47,000 denominations/sects serve as proof of the many lies it is founded on
3. Saying Jesus Christ is more than a prophet does not reduce the magnitude of the lie you accuse Him of. He proclaimed that not only was John the Baptist the last of the Old Testament prophets sent by His Father, but that He was in fact the one that came down from Heaven from the Father, the last one they had been waiting for. If Jesus Christ was in fact not the last prophet sent -- anointed by YHWH--- then how could he be the Messiah? You want to play along in the display of ignorance? Where is knowledge in what you're saying? Anyway, that statement is just a sweet mouth and to make you appear knowledgeable. That's an epitomy of inferiority complex. I supported my submissions with relevant scriptural verses, yet you failed to provide single scriptural verse to back what you're saying. Your opinion is dismissed again. Like I said, the Bible is the last authority. Where did any prophet of old from David say Christ would be the last prophet? Are you saying you know better than the scriptures itself that refered to Agabus, as a prophet? Or should we dismiss that part of the scriptures? Please, quote it here, when Jesus said He was the last prophet? Jesus is the messiah. Not Elijah, not Moses , not even father Abraham. He was greater than any prophet that lived before and after Him. Those ones were mere prophets. Jesus was more than any prophet. And let me quickly add this, I am less concern about YWH you are shouting all about. That's the Hebrews name for a supreme being. Nothing stops me from referring to a supreme being as 'Olodumare' that's Yoruba name for Him. In Arabic Bible, He is called Allah, because that's the name the Arabs call the supreme being. He referred to Himself as El shadai, to Abraham. In Hebrews Bible, He is called Adonai in some places in Isaiah. Moses called Him YHW. So it it is not necessary for me to call Him YAWEH.. That's your own problem. |

Kobojunkie: He cannot do that because he is quite aware that he can never join the ranks of the men you speak of. That door closed to all alive since the arrival of Jesus Christ, the Last of the prophets sent by YHWH. 'And there were in the church at Antioch, prophets and teachers'. Acts 13:1 'After we had been there for several days, a prophet, called Agabus came down'. Acts 21:10 'And he gave some to be apostle, and some prophet'. Ephesians 4:11 You guys are just like to deceiving yourselves. You tend to quote any part of the scriptures that suits your opinion and doctrine while over looking others that are not in tandem with your ideology. How will Christ be the last prophet, when He even promised the coming of the Holy Spirit, the same Spirit that worked in the old prophets? If your denomination hold a belief that there are no more prophets after Christ, that's your own cup of tea. However, the scriptures is the last authority, supercedes any individual or group opinions. Finally, Christ was more than a prophet. He was a fully God , came in human flesh. Ire o. |

You seem like a person who enjoys hearing the sound of his/her voice reverbrating in their cavernous skull. Learn to only talk when you have something tangible to add, and not just because the opportunity is there.
- What do you mean by "... If there were miracles in the ministries of Elijah and Elisha, it was as a result of the time they lived. They were not different from the rest of the prophets and of course, the contemporary christians..." Abeg, where are the miracles that you are performing as a result of the time we are living in or are you not aware that we are in an unprecedented time in Nigeria
- If you say that they were not different from the rest of the Prophets, then go and learn about "Consecration" and what it means to be set apart. Do you even understand that there are different categories of Prophets - go and also read up on the topic. God can use everybody but to an extent, not because he is not powerful enough but because of our individual faults and shortcoming. Even I a human cannot build a skyscraper on a foundation that was dug to support a bungalow.
- kindly elucidate on the point that you are trying to make with these rant "..There was a record in the Bible where the bones of Elisha who was already dead raised a dead. Why couldn't they preserve the bone and use it to raise everyone who is dead?".
- Understand that there are men who have journeyed far with God, who have ascended the mountain and communed with God one-on-one. Men who after seeing God's face, had to wear a veil so that there fellow men will not be afraid of their radiant face. These type of Men are extraordinary and different from their kin & kind. Those Men are different from you in the sense that with fortitude, they have developed the capacity to house a greater dimension of God not seen on Earth before. You are still babbling. In fact, I hardly understand the jargon you're saying up there. I still stand by what the scripture says. 'We are men of like passions like Elias.' So your opinion doesn't count. Even Jesus said anyone who believed on Him will do greater things. His disciples were ordinary, unlettered, mere fishermen, yet, they could be referred to as 'men that turn world upside down' by the people of the world. There's nothing extra ordinary or special about those prophets of old. God calls people for special assignment, commission or purpose. He calls anyone as He wishes. Bible does not describe the background of Elijah, he was one of the Tishbites. Elisha was a farmer, working on his field when Elijah met him. Whenever God called a prophet in Israel, His ultimate goal was to preach and warn His people to repent from their idolatry. If there were extra ordinary miracles (in your own opinion) in the times of Elijah or Elisha, it was because of the very wicked and evil kings that were reigning then. That was the period that idolatry reached its climax in Israel, and it became necessary for powerful and fearless prophets who can tackle those kings to arise. Because the priests whose role was to teach the kings the laws of God have been weak and subjugated by those kings. God raised people to do certain things when occasion demanded for it. That was why Moses could perform such great and fearful deeds. Moses was a man like everyone . So there was nothing mysterious about such people as you're trying to mystify them Jesus, the greatest man that ever lived on earth, perform those miracles through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, not because of His divine nature. Acts 10:38. God is still doing those great works today through His servants and the Church, by the reason of the Holy Spirit. And so shall He be doing till Christ come |

God honoured his prayer, simply because He wanted to prove something to king Ahab. There's nothing God does without a purpose. If there were miracles in the ministries of Elijah and Elisha, it was as a result of the time they lived. They were not different from the rest of the prophets and of course, the contemporary christians. There was a record in the Bible where the bones of Elisha who was already dead raised a dead. Why couldn't they preserve the bone and use it to raise everyone who is dead? Like I said, God does everything for a purpose. As He has been doing in the past, He is doing it today through us .
