masseratti: can't you guys comprehend what he wrote? if the founder of boko haram was not killed the way he was, it would have nip the carnage in the bud, Nigerian army Nigerian police no intelligence, just brutal force and kill.
I don't think the army can ger reformed under PMB, he is one of them once a general always a general, and he will protect the old order, its high time our armed forces is trained on how to handle civilian with civility. If BH members were avenging Yusuf's death, why did they start with Churches/Christian. Police killed your leader but you went after Christians, is the police controlled by the Christians? Get it? Both muslim sects have something in common, their hatred for Christian. |

Seun: This is the right thing to do, but Sunnis muslims would rather burn themselves alive than punish fellow Sunnis for killing Shias/Shiites. Sunnis hate Shiites almost as much as they hate non-muslims, despite the fact that Sunnis and Shias practice Islam in almost exactly the same way. Remember when BH started. They started with Christians/churches, and we all know the church don't control the police. Both the sunnis and shítes are evil . . . |

crosbreaka: "Shia are worse than boko haram" is a pirated form of "Shia are worse than the Jews". In the Middle East, Wahhabi aka Salafist clerics parrot that "Shiites are worse than Jews". You can search the phrase on Google. It's Wahhabism for you. The essence of Wahhabism is takfirism. Due to takfirism, and takfiri killings which are un-Islamic by the way, you get all the hatred. Those little Wahhabi e-soldiers are only parrots. Which cross are you breaking ? |

The Discos are lying here. They sell CPE meters to customers at a profit and transformer isn't that expensive. With a prepaid meter going for average of N50k the profit from 30-50 meters will easily buy a transformer for that area, so they should stop lying. |

Politics › Re: What Is The Future Political Relevance Of Amaechi And Fashola Post Buhari? by Sibrah: 6:09pm On Dec 12, 2016 |
APCHaram: Amaechi and fashola are alike in so many ways. Both governed 2 of the richest state in Nigeria badly and left a legacy of corruption in their wake. Both were jostling for VP slot under the Buhari administration and lost out only to be compensated with "super minister" portfolios. But far the striking similarities between these two men is their strikingly lack of political relevance in both their states and regions.
For a Jagaban there is a Wike looming large in both fashola and Amaechi's home state. It is thus safe to state these two men can not deliver their respective states singlehandedly on their own to Buhari come 2019.
With the inevitable sack of buhari at the polls come 2019, what does the future portend for Amaechi and Fashola?
Fashola can easily be predicted to go quietly into retirement - a fitting end to a relatively more conservative individual but what of the raucous rabid Amaechi? I don't see him going quietly into the night even if he chooses to grow sense, rather I see Amaechi being hurled from one court to another to face criminal charges for corruption and other sundry violent crimes he has committed against Rivers people. |
