MadamExcellency:
Enough of all these rubbish excuses. He should resign for someone like Babangida (as bad as he was) or anybody that has the vision to lead Nigeria out of recession just like in 1985 after he messed up the system.

Market can't trust Buhari. Under his watch we now have four different foreign exchange rate. Which one will he use to facilitate the loan?

Buhari's body language is aggressively anti any development led by private sector hence he will continue sinking the country into abyss.

Buhari's administration is now forcing ladies into self-induced menopause because of the unbearable and unaffordable cost of sanitary pad for their monthly circle. What a wicked government!
banki:
please how do we want the government to fund the budget?
he wants to sell una say don't sell
he wants to borrow una say don't borrow
he goes after looters ua sa he is one ided he is wiked he is blah blah infact some of you go and protest
he recovers loot judges don't prosecute offenders he arrests corrupt judges... una vex
for now our mainstay is oil and gas... militants keep blowing pipelines una say he should go and beg militants
he bans importation of some commodities so we can produce in Nigeria more na vex

lets keep vexing

Have you notice certain posters who loudly and vigorously justify Osun state governor's heavy borrowing for not so important infrastructures but are silent about Buhari attempt to borrow for critical infrastructure? People like johnnyessence?

The scarf-tying jihadist is among the people who plunged the nation into the crisis in the first place.

So he should keep his advice to himself.
When he was CBN governor, we spent average of $18bn-22bn annually in subsidizing the dollar or floating the Naira but he was busy calling Nigerians rent seeker for demanding fuel subsidy. SLS is a scam just like NOI.

That is what is killing them slowly. JingoOAU and other afonja propagandists suffer and coat it up with smiles. They think they are doing us but they don't know they are doing themselves. My Ebonyi pays regular salary, he can keep suffering in Oshun state.
They are busy celebrating projects blindly instead of IGR increase. That guy needs to learn from kebbi, ebonyi, cross river, akwa ibom and other states increasing their IGR.

JingoOAU:
The more they vilify him, the more he's loved by the people of Osun State

At the moment, PDP is technically dead in Osun State. Even if a deaf and dumb is used by APC to contest as a governor, he will beat the PDP hands down

I was one of those who always curse and abuse aregbesola, but he's quite better than many governors in Nigeria in terms of salary payment.

He's paying half salary..tell me, when last did they collect salary in Kogi, bayelsa, Oyo, Ondo, Ekiti, Abia, Ebonyi, Delta states??

Comparatively, in terms of allocation to the state, and the population of the civil service in all the states in Nigeria, aregbesola is better than most governors in Nigeria

Those rats wouldn't focus on their states and governors, the mention of aregbesola gives them erection

Nonsense
Your insecurity is obvious dude. How is this a Osun state PDP affair?
You have governor that has crippled the state with debt and telling empty lies while trying hard to defend him.

He also said that it was disturbing that Federal, State and Local Government allocations were persistently being misappropriated.

“If 50 percent of the allocations at the three tiers of governments are judiciously put to use, we would not be where we are in terms of underdevelopment and infrastructural decay,” he explained.

Can't you see amounts quoted?

There is also verifiable bank account given and alleged confirmation from Nasarawa State.

He is just putting EFFC on alert while the Finance Minister is claiming ignorance on such disbursement, Mr Melaye said CBN made the payment (disbursement).

Read the excerpts below

”The movement of the funds has been confirmed by the Central Bank of Nigeria"

While that of Plateau State was paid into a UBA account (1019894291). Nasarawa State confirmed to have been paid into Fidelity and Skye Banks for State Government (N46 billion) and Local Government (N22 billion) respectively,” he said.
What was alleged here is single reversal of erroneous transactions. How can it be possibly termed "secret"?

Politics › Re: 2017 Budget: N7trillion Can't Make Huge Impact – Osinbajo by Sibrah:
The man is right. If our import bill per month is N976bn and our entire budget is N7Tr, in 12 month we would have experienced close to N11.5Tr loss due to capital flight resulting from importation. This alone will negate the effect of N7Tr budget.
Our import-fueled lifestyle is our main undoing and not any govt policy per sè.

While there is a PDP angle to many corrupt practises within our system I think there is the institutionalized aspect of corruption that goes beyond PDP. Nigerians are corrupt on their own and I suggest we take an approach that will tackle all forms of corruption.

Yes, but u can't tell me that the ban had no effect on that.

Fx drove it up, ban drove it higher.

Applying the simple principles of demand and supply has an effect on it.

When there is scarcity, we apply that law.

The higher the demand on scarce products, the higher the price, it is as simple as that.

However, I am for how the presure on fx can be reduced, thus using rice as an example, rice is not the only commodity that sucks up our fx, many other commodities does, I just used rice to drive home some points.

Perhaps, u didn't read where I agreed with the person I mention on the fx issues?
