Lets not drag on the numbers or the technology that would replace oil, its not in my place to say anything on that

but the practical example i gave should show you that the world is heading somewhere, " the normal electrical store usually possess 1 i pass my neigbour Generator to test bulbs, DVDs, and sundry that customer buys, the fact that many have moved to solar tells me this traders have seen something practical in it...................... This definitely is revenue loss both for NEPA and Oil traders...........

Africa will definitely not be left behind, rather i would say maybe Africans would use technology of lower quality, If Apple phones are too expensive, we use tecno and itel and not grand mama telephone

Me and You know that Yankee Coke taste better than Nigerian Bottled Coke, but Coke na still Coke, Africans are not drinking Zobo and calling it coke
Most POS cash point operators use solar to charge their units. These kind of places were powered by tiger generators.

Hello house,

What are your thoughts on crowd funding agric investment going forward. Is it a stable environment? Some firms have collapsed while some are still going strong.

I just want to have a feel of the team here on this form of investment....

Are you saying that they (ijebus) created the infamous OWODA that we hear everyday around markets in the southwest?.
Maybe, if this is related to enterprise and wealth. The young, old, yellow, black, educated and illiterate of them are known to command wealth.

I'm sure you will have dealt with at least one of: Glo, Sterling Bank, Conoil, FCMB, etc. Infact if you have voted using naija printed ballot paper or used the BRT in lagos, or used a first bank, standard chartered, etc cheque book. You have patronised one Ijebu or the other.

Different regions of the Yoruba land have their expertise. Ibadan for example are know as warriors from the ancient time. The Ekiti people are known to value eduction, with a large number of professors. Similar things for other regions. But for the Ijebu's they are the olówò ishèmbayè (i.e. acient wealth)

So many betrayals full yoruba land including this bastard awujale, i don't know why these bastards we called leaders in yoruba land cant speak against those uneducated fulani terrorists but like to be ass licking them but these fulani herdsmen they are ass licking dont give a damn about them, they won't hesitate to kill them and rape their wifes. When the time comes, the fulani terrorists and betrayals in yorubaland we feel the heat
Thread carefully. The Awujale said no wrong here, he is not against Igboho. He is only calling out a fake new about him. The Awujale is an acient king of the entire Ijebus. The ijebu's are the olowo isembayè, i.e. acient wealth, even the British paid Tax to their forefather's to move good through the toll gate created by the Ijebu's.

They are not objects of ridicule...

I'm African but lived abroad for more than two decades. I'm not maligning anybody but I prefer the truth and unfortunately truth is bitter.Hiding the truth in this case is wrong because the African Will not be ashamed enough to pursue excellence and do the right thing if you keep lying to him.I know of a few people abroad who would like to invest in Nigeria but they were scared off by the Yahoo Yahoo atmosphere, insecurity and the general perfidious nature of the Nigerian.People need to confront the truth so good changes can occur.
What we lack are strong institutions, there is no nation without scammers and low life criminals. Only few weeks ago, a bunch of ill informed Americans invaded their seat of power. Only recently also, someone stole public money in Sydney....

Lol, you want to compare the African experience which is mostly self inflicted with the eastern front 1941 to 1944. They are not comparable at all. The African is weak minded, vain ,superstitious, lust after wealth, selfish and carnal but the Russian circa 1941 fought endured and won despite more than five thousand russian warplanes being shot out of the skies by the Germans in one week. They endured sieges and won enormous scale battles that africans would find perplexing to even think of.The African is the architect of his own misfortune.
I'm sure you are African. See the way you just maligned your race, nawa. Omò pkà bì ibòn

Boss, your post is full of contradictions. On one hand, you are talking about going on until the day you die and on the other hand, you are talking about contentment. Did you read where he said ‘any university in the world’?

My definition of contentment is when a man/woman has more than enough money to take care of his/her financial needs and those of his/her future generations and decides to slow down and take life easy. There is more to life than money, money and more money and there are many non-profit causes to keep wealthy people busy.

You get to a point where having extra money doesn’t even give you the happiness and satisfaction that you crave. You just become an unhappy lonely soul with tons of money trying to fill the void in your life with mansions, yachts, private jets and low-life oloshos lipsrsealed
Baba, your very definition of contentment is funny. You said when a man has "enough" money.

Whereas money no dey reach...

I see you mentioned Oloshos. I did some "research" in this sometime ago...lol. I know how much they around Ogba-Ijaiye, Refinery Road-Warri, Old GRA-PHC, Ikate Eleghusi, etc. The prices are different. Soo how do you plan enough resources for this. You just have to pick the textbook definition of contentment.

I am the richest amongst my friends, those above me in the ladder I avoid them so they don't treat me like it's suggested here. Those below me, I try to build them up to my standard, so I bring the investment discussions and possibility of doing businesses that can bring profit. A friend should be one that discusses what I like and he likes same things. If you have money that can school your kids to PhD level in any school in the world and can get medication and can buy beer for a lifetime, bros retire and go and rest. Nothing dey this life.
My friend, the requirement to retire above is quite vague. To study till PhD in Unilag cost different from PhD in University of London, and PhD in University of London is different from cost of PhD in Stanford University. Same as even cost of sipping ice cold beer, I know a couple of people that prefer their beer in the 7-star hotels of Dubai, while some are A-OK with could Trophy from any hotspot in Ibadan.

Life in it self is designed such that we keep running, and like my yourba people say. The day we die, is the day we rest.

Therefore, chosing to rest earlier, require one thing *contentment*.

Most of the ballers here, respectably including "moi" once live like Kings on NYSC allawee....how did we get to 20k per month internet, 20k per month fuel, 400 USD headphones? I for one had internet, headphones and was able to move easily around on NYSC allawee...

This online or offline division is an old trick in the scam book. It is called divide-and-rule. Those of us that did MMM will remember a similar one when MMM was 1 year to shutting down. That is MMM Global and MMM United.

You guys need to unite to get your funds from that Pitakwa city boy. You should not be feeling comfortable over online or offline. This is same company, and same pocket.

Good platform...let share exercises. Can anyone share a code to reverse a number (integer) in not more than two python lines. Preferably 1 line of code.
This is my best attempt.

A = 123456

Code:

ReverseA = int("".join([ str(A)[i] for i in range(-1, (-1*len(str(A))),-1)]))

Note: This is not pythonic as it is not readable. But it should do the job in one line.

Woman.
There is no way on this earth you would see a fake video and not know it is one.

What do I know.
My dear, are sure you know what you are talking about? This is 2020, the age of self driving cars, AI, virtual reality, etc.

I am not an expert, but all it takes is for an AI model to learn key features of a video (i'm sure you know a video is essentially fast playing pictures). Once the model detects the needed features, it switches it with whatever the engineer wants.

There are cheap AI models that can change the shirt you are wearing in a live video. When you watch the video even you will believe....lolz

Please take some time to watch MIT introduction to deeply learning course. There is a free version on MIT YouTube.

Strong evidence has always been the main problem or major breakthrough while placing judgment.
CNN has enough evidence(videos to be precise). Which 100% sure aren't fake.

FG would have to counter this, with what??
Words??

Useless government.

Why not let the sleeping dogs lie and channel all this energy into putting an end to the recent kidnappings, rape, killings and all other gory vices going on in the country??

They shouldn't drag their shame with CNN,e get why.
Why can't videos be fake. Even live streamed videos can be edited.

We are in 2020 man, have you heard of "Deep Fake"?

I don’t know why people get nasty, rude and abusive whenever people urge caution. If you really believe in the resilience of MBA, no amount of put down will derail their profitability, especially since they claim to be forex traders.

How will questioning their integrity especially glaring red flags impact their trading edge?
Those vociferously opposed to contrary opinion in their heart of heart’s, know it’s impossible to be making over 250% per annum and allow yourself to be acquired 90% by a travel agency. What value a travel agency add to this business?

If they had been acquired by a forex, hedge or mutual fund, it would have made sense.

A travel agency? Common people, do your research. This scenario has played out multiple times in the past.
We are seeing a Ponzi scheme on its last breath.
Arguably the two most fraudulent industries in Nigeria are travel agency and forex trading. I can't count people that have been scammed for VISA and ticket issues or people that have lost their life savings in Forex.

The strange part is that MBA forex is associated with these two "dangerous" industries. Wahala...

Wasn't in Lagos mass transit bus that mobilized thugs to protest ground at Alausa?

See eh, let's face the realities, our government, politicians are not sincere to serve....
The government thugs disrupted the protest. But my dear, it was not the government that looted, they were average citizens like me and you, with a fine mix of greed and hunger (some are not even hungry), they are all around us, infact they are us.

Who will guarantee the safety of they few of us running businesses. Not you I'm sure. Once you can guarantee my business will not be looted by another average Nigerian, I will join the protest.

You will notice, the police can see this. That is why they are withdrawing the police from private people and businesses.
