humilitypays:It's fairly obvious to the blind that Nigeria is heading for the precipice. As always, we would all standby and watch the events unfold as foretold. It's an open secret that oil is the only basis for the Unity of this country. Remove oil and watch the country collapse like a pack of card. As for me, I have long lost hope in this contraption. My people are gradually putting the basics in place for this unavoidable eventuality. We have the local technology to bridge the gap. We have enough gas to fire our gas turbines, enough local goods manufactured in Aba, Nnewi and Onitsha to meet the vacuum that would be created in our new nation. It's not going to be easy but with our resilience as a people of iron will, we will, like the phoenix, rise from the ashes and become the beacon of hope for black Africa. I stopped praying for Nigeria a long time ago. I lost hope in Nigeria a very long time ago. The Igbos will get it right. The only prayer I want to make is that I want to witness the end of this mess called Nigeria. The Igbo consciousness is increasing daily. Now is the time for every Igbo man to relocate some of his investments to his ancestral land. Nigeria will die, not by violence, but naturally. It has drunken enough blood. Let him that have ears hear. Udo!!! I created a topic about a Pastor who predicted the #EndSars protest. He equally said that Nigeria will disintegrate peacefully. This guy's submissions corroborate that fact. The prospect of Nigeria balkanizing is a fact. Here's the link to the Facebook video https://www.facebook.com/100002588595356/posts/3382085101887743/ |
It's safe to say that the era of bad governance and repression in Nigeria is coming to an end. I would be highly elated too if the Republic of Igbo Land is finally achieved without bloodshed. |
Here is a link to a video making the arounds about a Pastor, who in 2018, in Plateau State predicted the youth driven protest and the impending revolution in the country. He also talked about the actualization of Biafra through dialogue and non violence. https://www.facebook.com/100002588595356/posts/3382085101887743/ |
My angry reaction earlier today on One Nigeria nonsense By: Prof (Amb)George Obiozor. Most of the Diasporans here live in Europe. Can you show me one multi-ethnic state in Europe where one group is positioned to dominate the rest that hasn't broken up? For those who may not know, what you call ethnic groups in Nigeria are called nations in Europe. There's nowhere in the world where the white man accepts domination from another white man in perpetuity. It used to be so under the Roman empire and the like. Not anymore. The Communists tried it, dividing society into capitalists and proletariats, deluding themselves that ethnicity is effectively swept under the carpet, but what followed? The Communist edifices in Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, and the big brother, USSR, all collapsed, while the two Germans that are ethnically the same but split by communism vs capitalism were reunited. Such is the power of ethnic nationalism. Czechoslovakia was made up of two ethnic groups, the Czech and the Slovakians. Both separated peacefully on 1st January 1993. The former is today 10.6 million people and the latter 5.4 million. Added together, they're not up to Lagos. Yet, they split for peace. Two masters can't be in the same house. Yugoslavia in 1991 was 23.2 million, barely more than Lagos population. It broke into six countries same year - all along ethnic lines, namely: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia. Then the big brother, USSR. It had, at least, the following ethnic groups identified by their languages: Regional languages: Ukrainian Belarusian Uzbek Kazakh Georgian Azerbaijani Lithuanian Moldavian Latvian Kyrgyz Tajik Armenian Turkmen Estonian Minority languages: Abkhaz Bashkir Buryat Chechen Finnish Volga German Korean Ossetian Tatar & various others. Today, your fingers will not be enough to count the number of countries that have emerged from the USSR. Sit down there and be preaching unity in Nigeria as if you're the kindest gentleman on earth while you have no solution to the genocide in Southern Kaduna, the illegal but officially condoned arms in the hands of killer herdsmen roaming the country, and be condemning those better informed about the fact that the country is undergoing the strains of a forced union and should be peacefully restructured or let people go their separate ways. In Europe, the two best examples of fairly stable multi-ethnic states are the UK and Switzerland. The former is led by reasonable men who permitted regional autonomy to the Irish, the Scots and the Welsh, while the English dominate Westminster. That's something some of us are asking for, but you're fighting against it in your own country wracked by ethnic crisis. Your own people are better off under oppression of fellow black men because your people have bad leaders who can't do better than their new internal colonisers. The latter country, Switzerland, has four ethnic groups. Each of them rotates the presidency annually through seven cantons that constitute the federation units. All the four languages of the four ethnic groups are recognized as official languages and school languages to boot, namely, German, French, Italian, and Romansch that has just a few thousand speakers! There's nowhere in the world where the Caucasians allow the domination of their group by another. In Canada, Quebec is the only full French-speaking province, aside a little section of New Brunswick. The other seven provinces are English-speaking. Yet, Canada is bilingual for the sake of Quebec! And each of the provinces is largely self-governing. Here we are in Nigeria, you have people arguing vehemently that a decrepit, structurally-flawed, and crisis-prone artificial contraption badly configured by the British only needs good people to survive. Why not centralise the powers of the British regions to London and see what happens?! #Nigeriaisajoke https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2642214062707903&id=1712640868998565 |

Mods please push to the front page so that we can get people's input. |
Mod please do justice to this thread. These folks up north should be taught how to behave. Imagine the governor appointing SA to each of his three wives. Have we no modicum of shame in this cesspit of a country. The stuff that happens in this country would never be tolerated anywhere in the world. Money that should be channeled to rehabilitating the teeming Almajiri is wasted on SA's who contribute nothing to the growth of the state. It seems something is congenially wrong with folks up north. I'm really pissed at craps like this. Have they no grey matter in their heads. It seems they are incapable of thinking critically. Something has to be done to salvage this country from these folks or we all are getting stuck in this mess. |
This country is completely messed up. If these guys up there in the sahara actually work and sweat for their money, they would appreciate the effort it takes to make it. Alas, it is given to them on a platter. This is what you get when you go cap in hand to Abuja every month to collect what you never worked for. This is gross abuse of office and privileges. Sometimes, i wonder if black Africa is really cursed. Tufiakwa!!!

nextprince:Nwanne, I can smell their envy and jealousy from a mile off. They are inundated daily with how far we have gone. They can't handle it. There obsession with anything igbo borders on insanity. They just wish in their twisted mind, for every news emanating from igboland to be negative so they revel in their stupidity. I've no ounce of strength in me to reply their rants. I have one aim, and that is to keep debunking the lies that had been peddled against my people. |
nairanaira12:I love the ignorance you and your ilk are living in. Because the reality that y'all have been left behind will hit you like a tornado. I wanted to post this to debunk another lie and that has been achieved. I couldn't care less what your opinions are. You can roast for all I care. |
nextprince:We are gradually getting there mister. All the lies and propaganda would be a thing of the past. If one were to believe all the lies that had been spewed against the igbos and igboland, one would think that igboland is barren. This was meant to burst one of the many lies that onions only grow in the north. A conscetious effort towards the growing of onions in igboland would ensure that we would no longer need the northerners. Very soon, very very soon Nigeria will see the igbos for the blessing that they truly are. I can't wait to see the back of this colonial space called Nigeria. Republic of igboland beckons. |
Umunnem, we will keep debunking their lies until igbo nation is realised. The advent of internet has really done a lot for the igbos. Through this medium, we can showcase our ingenuity to the world, our blessedness to the entire planet. |
