I understand your point. But truth is, a lot of inexperienced people will send their CVs for those jobs and get hired. Why? There's a shortage of man power especially experienced hands to handle the projects Huawei currently has on their hands.

Mind you, whether experienced or not, every body hired would still do at least 3 days training.

I am a student of industrial physics, federal university of agriculture, Makurdi. I will be graduating in March-2016 with a first class by God's grace.
I am looking for an ICT/Telecom institute where I can work as a trainee even for free, to gain relevant knowledge and skills.
I also want to know the best telecom training I can enroll for a start while awaiting service.

To all recommending Pre-degree, please note that ALL students in higher institutions who wish to be issued NYSC certificate are required to have UTME reg numbers.

So even if OP does a pre-degree programme, He or she would still write UTME so as to have the reg number which is used for NYSC mobilization.

Op, you have so many options:

1. Diploma (most expensive option)

2. Pre-degree (less expensive that Diploma)

3. A-levels.

4. Learning a trade and forgetting about schooling.

5. Writing UTME again and again until you pass and secure admission (least expensive)

Let me tell the story of my elder bro.

He secured admission with his 5th utme to study AERD in Lautech (that was his first ever admission offer) but he didn't see his future in that career path so he borrowed some money to obtain his 6th utme form because he wanted to study sociology in Unilag.

To cut long story short, he graduated as the third best student in his class with a cgpa of 4.45 (someone who wrote utme six times) and is currently serving.

Funny enough, I too was among the best students in my class in Second school but I ended up writing jamb 4 times. I'm now a graduate and finished serving.

Don't ever compare yourself with others... Life is an individual race; not a collective one!

Brace yourself, you have a lot of work to do

Its last year (this is 2016). And I'm not taking anything away from Timi (I have his album too). But many people forget that before Project Fame and Nigerian Idols, there was a certain music competition in South Africa for Africans and Dare came 2nd! grin

I said it years back in my hostel in Lautech that Dare will outlast D'banj. Everyone almost chewed me raw. It was visible to me then because I always bought his albums. Musically, Timi Dakolo still dey learn. Its just a pity that whilst appreciating Club bangers, we oft forget those guys that make music you'll want your grandkids to listen to.

First time I heard Pray for me, it was on repeat on my phone for two days. And do you know the song won an award (I think in AMAA) just a few months after release?

Olamide is an exception not the rule. And 5 years ago, and even now, Olamide's lyrics are still ok when you listen to his albums (at least I have all on my system).

Yesterday, I listened to P Square's Omoge Mi album. Truth is, I almost cried because I was nostalgic about all the songs. I even left what I was doing to sing, dance and mime Temptation.

The truth is, good music and lyrics would trump beats and hits in the long run any time any day. And that's one of the reasons that Asa is currently Nigeria's best export at the moment in the industry. Or should I remind you that she once won the Next Rated award too with only Adaba as the single she had released at that time?

Let me ask a simple question; which massive Hit have you heard from R. Kelly in the last 3 years? If none comes to mind, go pick up copies of his last 3 albums (minus Black Panties) and you'll weep for the Nigerian music industry.

I have been there before, I had to cut ties with him; it's like they invoke beasts inside all of them while training them, I still wonder if America soldiers go through the same and they are very peaceful and loving.

Being a Soldier is a VERY hard job even for the bravest. Try watch American Sniper and you'll understand. The American Sniper guy (in real life) was killed by a Marine he was trying to help.

War not their training does something to their brains. PTSD etc. Abi you think its easy to kill people for a living?
