Depends on a number of factors. 1. What course did your friend study in school? A Computer Science/Engineering major should go to Appzone where he or she would be exposed to software development while someone who studied accountancy/law/social science degree should go to Deloiite. 2. What are your friends' future career plans? I know a Political Science undergrad of Unilag who is really into software development. In fact, he had so many projects to do last semester that he failed like 4 courses. Not because Pol Science isn't a good course but because he sees his future in software. If your friend wants a future career in Tech and wants to develop Tech Skills (UI/UX design, Prototyping, Front End, Back End, Software Testing, Agile, etc) he or she should go to Appzone. But if he or she wants a future career in professional services, Deloitte would be the better bet. 3. What type of job would he or she be doing? When I did my internship, I worked in a major Telecoms company on the Island while I lived in Ipaja (though there was staff bus). I learned the basics of Microwave transmission (installation, decommission, link provisioning), Networking, 2G, 3G, LTE Architecture etc and I was even climbing 50m masts for a salary of 18k. I had friends who worked at FAAN (inside MMA, Ikeja) collecting 15k who were only carrying files for oga, buying amala, going to the bank to deposit money into someone's account and other radarada while collecting tips from oga. These set of people told me my internship was too stressful, that 18k was not worth the risk. After 6 months of working, I had learnt and done so much while they had learnt or done nothing! Why the story? If any of those places would be giving your friend a job that will add little or nothing to him or her, he or she should walk away from it without looking at the monetary gains that would be lost. I almost forgot; if your friend knows he or she won't be able to cope in a very fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a lot of pressure he or she should run from Deloitte. How do I know? My brother has a female friend who started working at Deloitte some time ago. For the first 3 - 6 months she used to cry at work. Only reason she stayed was because my brother made her realize what working for Deloitte for 3 years would do to her career. She has said that after 3 years she will stop working there. I hope I made enough sense. ![]() |
obasy09:Some people just think traffic will just transfer money into one's account. SMH. MMM Nigeria's home page is devoid of adverts. None whatsoever and people claim they turn traffic to cash. Many people don't even understand online business models. |
blackboifizzy:20k. Let's start from there ![]() |
Elparaiso:I'm gonna buy apple products soon whether I like it or not. But I'm a droid fan too. uncle Sammy all the way |
Elparaiso:Nice analysis. Cost is part of the reasons; not all. There's also expertise and efficiency of production. Ever since the Asians perfected the art of just-in-time production; Europeans and Americans have been trying to keep up. |
CLIQBOY:I have o. |
DonaldTrump:Do you still need this? My location is Lagos |
Olutty88:Which model? I have a GT-i9500 screen for sale. How much you gonna buy? |
kalindaminda:Actually, there are two websites for MMM Nigeria. One is fake and one is original. One is mmm-nigeria.net (the original) and the other is (fake) |
kalindaminda:You can verify yourself. Oh; that's a wrong link... Just wanted to give the guy some hypertension. ![]() This is the real one.

Mikkyangel, I seriously need a phone on a budget. Probably that S4 or S5 from that Inglewood seller. How much will that cost? Thanks |
2tek:Let me shock you. Visit MMM Nigeria's website; right click if you are using a computer and view page source. This is a screenshot of what you will see.

To the guys here hammering away at Ronaldo vs Messi 1. Both players are highly TALENTED! Many people think talent in football is only related to dribbling skills and ability to score goals. But they forget that height itself is a talent (ask Peter Crouch and Lewandowski). SIGHT too is a talent (ask Paul Scholes). The ability to dictate the tempo of a game is a talent (ask Xavi, Modric, Ozil, Pirlo), jump power too is a form of talent. Talent is very vast. It can't be wrapped into a box at anyone's convenience. 2. But for Infinix to imply that Messi doesn't work hard; they're simply high on cheap weed. One cannot play at that peak for so long (9 seasons) without working hard. Mikel Obi, Taiye Taiwo and Messi emerged almost at the same time (without mentioning countless other players). Whose game has evolved faster, better and more maturely in the lot? Messi! Do these Infinix guys know what it mean to exert your body week-in week-out for 9 years? Running over 5 km on the pitch of play? Scoring goals from "impossible" angles? I mean, these guys (Ronaldo and Messi) have turned hat-tricks to "normal" things that we're starting to think they are superhumans. They are not! They are simply hardworking! They both work extra hard; trying to be better, playing under different coaches, adapting to different styles of play etc. 3. Saying that for someone to prove his mettle, he or she has to play in the EPL, Italian Serie A or any other league is baldderdash. 1st Class students don't need to prove their 1st Class certificate in another Institution before the world recognizes their genius. A great player is a great player; fullstop! ![]() 4. I find it rather surprising that Griezzman is the 3rd World Best but didn't make the FIFA FIFPRO Best Eleven. I think FIFA and other award bodies would soon start having headaches because Suarez, Griezzmann and other players are upping their game. I only pray that Griezmann is consistent. With the way Suarez is going, next year's awards are going to be a tough call. 5. Ronaldo is currently the World's Best Football Player. He had a great year. Some will say he was lucky; but in reality, he worked for it. Rather than compare these guys, I will take glory in the fact that I watched them play. I know one day, I will watch both of them live! They both have changed the game in ways we can't fathom yet. My children and grandchildren will definitely hear of their feats from me. My 2 cents |

boykas:I can authoritatively tell you that the traders were giving due notice. I have a friend whose mum has 2 shops in that market. He told me this morning that the market had been demolished overnight. What the shop owners are complaining about is the settlement LASG will be giving them. Some bought those shops for close to 1.5million naira and some more. But LASG is only willing to pay 500,000 naira. Get your facts right next time. |
Oya all the whiz kids in the house, how.many of these indicators on your dashboard do you know? Copied from Twitter.

School: LAUTECH. Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences. I spent about 35k on the project itself. Printing was 3 for 10 naira . Can't remember the specific price of binding. Did my typing and data analysis myself. Funny thing is I didn't write my project by hand. I typed it straight and convinced my supervisor that it was better and faster. I would print each chapter in his office and submit to him for correction. Almost a year after graduation, I spent another 10k to have the project printed in a journal. So in total, I spent about 45k |
I found these on paystack's website https://paystack.com/careers). Please give it a shot

toolluu:If there's anyone you want to do business with, I'll gladly recommend this guy. Honest, understanding and didn't assume I'll cheat him. Sent the Panel I needed to me from Ibadan after assuring me it works like a charm. Transferred the money to him after getting the panel. You rock boss |
I learned PHP before moving on to Java and I can say learning PHP turned out to be time well spent because the only new thing I'm learning in Java is just syntax. |

iliketheSunrise:Madam, your punchlines are off the hook |
ironheart:please draw up a repayment plan. maybe I can be paying just 25k naira per month till I finish paying for the thing. but honestly, the first time I saw a Panamera, I just stood still and admired it's presence. |
GlitzG:No wonder. thanks for replying. don't despair, graduated comrades are fighting alongside you guys. intimidation we condone not |

I don't even know what to say! Graduated in 2014 from LAUTECH when in fact, I was supposed to graduate in 2013. When employers see the discrepancy of your graduation date and the date on your certificate, they always ask questions as if you went to forge the certificate at Oluwole. My grouse is with the students. They allowed the strike to even reach 6 months! Just last week, one of my course-mates who was a comrade in school had to openly call out leaders of the School's two main parties to do something about the strike. My guess is that the SUG guys went on "holiday" and played politics with this matter. I know some palms would have been greased too to make sure the students are kept silent. So I guess any of the following happened 1. The SUG was not a party to the protests! If they were, they would have issued the school authorities notifications officially about the planned protest. Therefore, the school authorities won't be able to disown the students in case the police clamp down on them. 2. Some members of the SUG organized the protests without the backing of some key figures in the SUG. Those key figures are the SUG President, P.R.O and Fin Sec. 3. The students decided to boycott the SUG and organized the protests themselves. If the organizers of the protest are on nairaland, please answer this question: Was the SUG involved in the protest? I ask because I can categorically say that LAUTECH'S SUG was actively involved in the protests by UI students when their VC started misbehaving some months back. So if they (LAUTECH'S SUG) could mobilize to go to Ibadan from Ogbomoso but cannot find a solution to their own crises, then you will agree with me that something "fishy" is definitely going on. Back then, I was part of the #AkalaMustGo Protest. That day, the VC was carried to the protest venue at Isale General from his lodge. ID Aluta was SUG President then. Police-men couldn't shoot at students just because the protest was "official". The policemen that shot tear-gas that day had themselves to blame as their armoured truck was taken over by students. It was after the protest that they (policemen) started arresting students in their hostels. For those of you saying the video is bad; it is a known fact that LAUTECH school authorities use photographs to track, suspend and rusticate students because the school has a computerized portal for student registration and tuition fee payment. |
