I used Nairaland for my whole application processing, and if people follow this thread from March 2022, you will see my comments and replies on this thread. Since I'm in Nova Scotia now, I decided to do a free self-service for people who wanted to do their own application. So I created a community, and I posted the link if you are willing to join the incoming international NS student forum. I will be there to answer all your questions. https:///LDcS1WshPITFdTN0EHRhFUNote, please: I'm not in any way seeking financial assistance because I have people here who have contacted me, and I took them into my apartment in Halifax without knowing them from anywhere. So this is not, in any way, a financial gain. That is why I said anyone who needs to do a self-application. I'm willing to guide you to the best of my knowledge. |

Hi everyone! Due to the challenges faced by a lot of international students coming from different countries in Africa, we put our efforts together to create a community that will bring solutions to most problems that international students face, be it after they land in Nova Scotia or prior to their landing. This community involves both international students who are already in Nova Scotia and people outside willing to come to Nova Scotia. The group is aimed at preparing the students for the major challenges that they will encounter while moving here and providing a free immigration consultation for people who are willing to do a self-application. HopefulSuccess: Hello, Someone should please help answer this Can I do a walk-in to collect my passport even if I used DHL to send my passport to VFS? If I can, what do I need to show them as evidence when I get there?
Does this message mean my stamped ppt is ready and I can now go get it. Yes you can walk in but if you pay for a courier service when you submitted your passport then VFS will send UPS to drop it at your home address.Congratulation. |

bullstriker: You will receive two correspondence letters. The first is a Biometric Validation Letter (BIL) confirming biometric validity. The second one is the Introduction Letter, generated after IRCC places the counterfoil on your passport. The latter is the one required at the POE Thank you..that one came in later |

Eseosajoy: Good Morning everyone
Please gurus in the house I’m a bit confused. For study permit visa application will one be submitting SOP or LOE? Or both? From the Canada website I saw LOE.
But I’ve been seeing people submitting SOP. Are they the same please? And if they’re not what’s the difference please? If you are a first time applicant then you only need to write SOP but if you have been denied a study permit visa before or any form of visa from the CA embassy then you need to write a LOE thats just the different. |

Ifyy101: Good day, Thank you for your correspondence. IRCC has seen an unprecedented volume of applications received for both initial study permits and extensions in 2022, not just from citizens of one country or region but on a global scale. We are making every effort to reduce wait times in our services globally. We also highly encourage clients to check IRCC's Processing Times to let them know how long it took us to process most complete applications in the past. It starts the day we receive your complete application and ends when we make a decision. It may vary depending on the number of applications we receive and how complex they are to process. It is important to understand that processing times are estimates and may vary. We know that some applicants have experienced significant wait times with the processing of their applications, and we understand your frustration. We are working hard to process applications on time and reduce processing times. We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time. Putting people first is at the core of how IRCC serves clients. We are committed to delivering seamless, quality services that works for everyone. Regards, Immigration Section | Section de l'immigration High Commission of Canada | Haut Commissariat du Canada (DH) P.O. Box / C.P. 1013, Limuru Road, 00621 - Nairobi,
Please does this mail mean anything. Got it yesterday from Ircc…. Its a generic response if you send a webform and its indicate that your webform hit there office. |

Karishma: In filling this form A, I am encountering a lot of issues, please if anyone can help. On the page where they ask to fill in the school address, there are blank spaces to put in the details, but for the option of country, there's a drop down list to pick the country the school is at. When I click that drop down option, it lists countries from A to B, stopping at Bermuda, it doesn't offer the full list of countries so I am unable to click Canada. I have tried on a computer and on a phone but no option to pick Canada. Has anyone experienced this please?. Thanks. Use PC |
