Support someone who always shy away from speaking on burning national issue for political correctness and selfish purposes. How can we be sure such a person will be anything better when he gets to the seat; People have borne the agony of this administration already, none should be added to it after 2023. |
It is for a reason that Israel makes it a point of duty not to dialogue with terrorist. This is because once you start the business of negotiating with terrorist you are never going to be able to finish it, they'll perpetually keep you engaged and distracted, which is what is currently happening in Nigeria. |
Elsanchez:Don't be quick to abuse anyone in authority whether they are there legitimately or illegitimately. You can offer your constructive criticism and be heard loud and clear rather than resort to outright insult! |
When you meet a grown up woman like this in a public space, you'll assume her to be that Wise and intelligent fellow; until you open up a deep discussion to unravel her value system. There you'll have a disconnect because although they seems big with everything outside their value system is zero. This generation needs a swift paradigm shift in morals, as it's actually getting late already! |
Sincerely this post is not for every guy, but for guys who want to grow the God way and do his will. Guys who want to act right in life at all times, guys who want to recreate the Joseph pattern in this present muddy world of physical and spiritual recklessness, guys who want to stand out. This post is for them. |
Its only in Nigeria people take laws into their hands because they are in power. Only in Nigeria you'll see a JSS 3 student who manage to join the army or a ragtag policeman have the effontery to slap a medical doctor and drag a judge on the floor, just to show he's a uniform man. There should be decency and decorum in all we do, because your liberty is other people's oppression. |
What level are you and what's your current CGPA? |
Gumi getting it all wrong. How do you claim a threat to your existence when you migrate your family to another persons community to not only dictate but take over their land, how will a benefactor be expected to feel so unconcern. This scenario of aggression and playing the victim card afterward isn't peculiar to the Fulani's alone but to an average subscriber to their particular faith. Take for instance individuals coming from a war torn countries who narrowly escaped death by whisker and granted entry permission to US, FRANCE, UK on the same pretext, as soon as they are exposed to the good things of life instead of looking for how to contribute their own quota to the society that made them, in order to preserve a posterity. They'll rather be on the outlook for excuse why their religious tenet should be inculcated into the Constitution of the country. This is the mindset of an average subscriber to this religious way of living! |
Selective amnesia. Wasn't Burutai also involved in this Dubai property mess? Need I say more that even after the revelation, not only was he rewarded with an elongated tenure but also handed a non-career diplomat job for a job weld-one? The end shall tell, while am against corruption in any shade, it should be holistic otherwise take your crusade off my sight! |
Trying to sound politically correct for personal benefit, sycophancy will take us no where. Unfortunately if we ask Mr Lalong to show us the picture of one farmer carrying Gun with the sole intention to shoot at a Fulani he'll not be able to do so. Funnily enough carrying gun to ward off predator animal in the thick forest isn't the problem, but ability to use it wisely not against an innocent farmer who toil day and night, whom you then send you animals to graze on their harvest and when they call your attention to such unwholesome practice, you either kill or maim them. This is the height of barbarism cruelty, wickedness, impunity, ungodliness, infidelity, callousness and insensitivity! |
Hope Gumi can read this. |
Ambode won't do this. |
Hope Gumi can read this. |
This is where to employ brutal force, not against those who can't kill a fly. How will the military not be overstretched when they are engaged in many not so important mission. |
Kaduna1stson:And what should be declared in the North? |
God is inexhaustible and so are his works. His love so immeasurable, his life so abundant, his wrath so undescribable and severe so much that even the devil himself trembles. Don't go to hell, repent surrender to Jesus why still you may. |
Dalil8:It's not. Life is meaningless when you don't have the spirit of God living inside of you. |
tsephanyah:How does this make Nigeria great or take him to heaven? |
tsephanyah:What are you saying and what have you said so far? |
buckeyemedia:Higher goals as a politician, you will do well as a comedian. |
AnanseK:Those were misguided statement from IBB if he ever said anything like that all. Thuggery and War aren't something to be proud of but when people are pushed to the wall they tend to device a survival strategy to prevent themselves from going into extinction even if cowardicw was embedded in their DNA. Do you know how brutal the civil war was, so much that even IBB himself was evacuated after being shot, and even Murtala lost about two contingencies of soldiers under his command. And do you know the champion of the war, Benjamin Adekunle was a Yoruba man, so how can an IBB who couldn't withstand the heat of war speak so lightly of people of Adekunle's extraction. You can conclude he was only kidding himself or using a reverse psychology! |
buckeyemedia:With all the endless shipped produce from the North, it means there are so many farmers in the North doing so well. Can you mention just one popular farmer alive in the North you know? |
SmartyPants:If it's that tight we can as well go the Sudan way, for perfect peace to reign instead of daily loss of life. I know once we have in full gear a predominantly Northern Muslim Nigeria full of bandits, terrorist, kidnappers, illiterate almajiris and cattle rustlers; in no time they'll start begging to have the passport of Christian dominated southern Nigeria, Hope by then they'll realize blood is thicker than a misguided religious bonding or affiliation. |
GOVERNMENT2:You are a poor student of psychology if you did any at all. |
Osagyefo98:How many bandits terrorizing your peaceful existence Up North have been arrested? Go and put your house in order before venturing into other peoples matters you know nothing about. |
Osagyefo98:So Yorubas now speak fulfulde? If Yorubas are the ones doing the killings in SW, are they also the one doing it UP NORTH? or don't you see a similar pattern in their mode of operation? Try not be misguided by emotion, God's law forbid killing but there are many mad people in the world. If you don't want a reprisal don't venture into killing: once you do, you'll see people who are more brutal than yourself come against you. |
Human being trying by all means to re-build the tower of babel, the Babylon city of rebellion; They are blinded to short lived wordily accolade, instead of making their way right with God and preparing for eternity and their eternal home above. , |
chrismastre5:No. Dan Fodio was just an unfortunate child like Ishmael and Mohammed, the real one who received the curse to wander about forever with a branded mark on his forehead was Cain the first murder of his brother Abel. They are the spiritual lineage of Cain the apostate son of rebellion, they are near impossible race to win for God for they are twice blind. Only those who accept Christ among them can be free from both the spiritual and Physical curse to which they are brought under. Genesis 4:12, "No longer will the ground yield good crops for you, no matter how hard you work! From now on you will be a homeless wanderer on the earth.'" Fortunately or unfortunately there is a clause that favors their continuous existence, but in Nigeria they are fast loosing it. And the clause is that whoever killed them will be avenged seven-fold. Genesis 4:15, "The LORD replied, 'No, for I will give a seven-fold punishment to anyone who kills you.' Then the LORD put a mark on Cain to warn anyone who might try to kill him." But looking closely at the pronouncement you will realize the aggressor has to attack Cain first to be avenged seven-fold, but in Nigeria they are the killer and the aggressor; meaning they are fast loosing the only opportunity left for them to enjoy the smallest of peace on earth. |
@19, I was already in the adult fellowship almost too old to be in the youth department because of the grace and Spirit of God in me, men old enough to be my father seems to forget their age and would readily respect me without much ado. I came in contact with the gospel and embrace Christ at the early stage of my life, thereby growing up to learn to focus on the essentials of life. No wasting of time looking for girlfriend, drinking alcohol, picnicking here and there, or getting involve in all those times wasting ventures. I devoted my time to reading many great and life transforming books, I go the extra mile to get them anywhere I could, and that was before the advent of Gsm and internet proper that made things a little easier. Unfortunately the internet age has destroyed many people's capacity to grow in the perfect image of Christ, we concentrate all our effort in building the head with so many info, some of which are actually irrelevant to our overall well-being, while neglecting the culture of self discipline and daily renewing of the heart. Frankly speaking, pressing of phone amidst sermon especially on irrelevant or unrelated issues and platform like facebooking or going on nairaland which can be done later, is a real manifestation of childish behavior that tells much about your level of maturity and growth at 20 which is lack of self discipline. There is still room for improvement because maturity is not a function of age but of your thought, focus, comportment and achievement. Walk on those rough edges of your life, itemize the things you do secretly or publicly that right within you, you know someone of your age shouldn't be involved with anymore and try to do away with them. Finally, ensure you truly surrender your heart to Christ and grow in his stature, this is one the fastest way to becoming the dignified man God want you to be. 1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. |
What believe can anyone profess who bath in the public and exhibit all of those filthy behavior, she's surely not representing Christ at this point in time whether or not she believes in make-up. I suppose she might not be in the right frame of mind, or probably facing some traumatic moment of her life. You need to follow her to wherever she worships and explain to them in clear term how exactly she behaves at home, with that I think they can help her regain her spiritual and mental stability, not just for herself alone at least her customer deserve a better treat after exchanging their hard earn money for her meal. |
No one is too smart in this world my brother, just keep believing. praying and trusting God; bigger and better opportunity will come your way sooner than expected don't give in to depression. Next time package yourself well, any hand-to-hand job that will require you delve out vital information before it is awarded should be strictly consultative. Once you charge a reasonable amount as consultation or consultancy fee, they'll have no choice than stick with you, and even if they don't you have nothing to loose. For the supposed smart lady, leave her alone what comes around goes around. |
