KingOfIsoko1:We shouldn't presume on people's future character if their present does not represent such value. People change no doubt, but to justify illegality committed against someone on the basis that he too is capable of such, when he's shown no such trait; is nothing but judging others based on mere assumption of their unlived character. |
Only the wise can truly decode the deep inherent message contained in this short piece. It bears the contingencies of our collective destiny. Without a hate, it is reassuring to note that the end does not justify a process built and sustained by illegality. As an old wine skin can't sustain a new wine, same way the impossibility of rebuilding a new nation on old practices of electoral malpractices, corruption, vote buying, ballot snatching, voters suppression and high end connivance to achieve an ignoble end. It is not the person here that matters, it is the process and our collective destiny going forward. Long may Nigeria live if it be God's will! |
If it's not a measure that will take from the 'have nots', and futher impoverished them like the present regime, then no need to seek for our Cooperation just go ahead the request is already granted. But if otherwise, may God save the masses. |
If the agenda is there, what can ordinary CSO do? If Osibanko and Femi couldn't do anything, is it a CSO that will do something? But even if the agenda is there, it will fail woefully to the shame and consternation of the protagonist in Jesus name! |
I think the president elect should focus on Nigeria first with its myriads of problem and solve them before talking of Africa as a whole. No African country president waste their time and resources on another as it were currently, because most of them are not fully fed which is not a bad idea. Nigerians have been highly impoverished by its successesive leaders to a chagrin level that demands immediate action. Charity therefore should begin at home, having the vision to rule Africa or serve as its big brother when Nigeria has not been fixed, such vision and aspiration should be kept at bay for now. When the right time comes to do that we would know, and that is when we ourselves have been liberated from long years of servitude occasioned by bad leadership. Doing that now will amount to over ambition! |
But anybody can change overtime from good to bad. Do you keep addressing the devil as angel of light after becoming a direct opposite of what he use to be? Reason we need to guard ourselves as we travel along lives journey, especially our integrity. Gani Fawehinmi did that successfully till death, but Keyamo couldn't! |
Rather than talk about good governance and proffer ways to surmount the numerous challenges bedevilling the nation, this man is creating a thread on how fun and entertainment will become dividend of democracy of the next administration. What a pitiful weird thinking of a supposed keen observer! |
Sad reality, It won't prevent death when it comes knocking and judgment afterward. At the end all will be vanity and a vexation of spirit! |
But are we to accept anomaly as a way of life in this nation? As in conduct a sham election, rig and later brag in connivance with so called honorable court to claim there was no case at all. No wonder some people hate law so much with passion, not because of the law itself but the corrupt naature of the lawhandlers, who themselves will be judged one day by a perfect God. This is not an emotional outpour or expression of weakness, but the dire need to have a nation built on equity and true justice. Righteousness exalt a nation but sin and wickedness brings reproach, shame and perpetual unending servitude. |
Matthew 7:15-23 (KJV) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. |
How was the Landlord able to gain access to the apartment in his absence? or did he has a spare key to the room? If this is so without the occupants awareness or authorization, then the Landlord is a notorious person who deserves some legal scrutiny and heavy fine. |
Kaduna that's been in existence since when. Given kudos to El-rufai for this, is like accepting him as the one and only governor to ever govern the state; same way the development of Lagos is been attributed to Tinubu alone! |
Man is born to innovate and there is nothing to be sad about this development, infact it's a thing of joy. But my only concern is, where are the good roads to ply this modern utility vehicles over? Somethings in life are naturally complementary, take one out in isolation and the other won't last long. The earlier we get it right here the better! |
Don't give up on him. He probably needs job that'll give him a daily return. Aside personal or family challenges, what I see lacking in him is patience and self discipline. Whatever opportunity that opens to him now or in the future, without this two lifestyle inculcated in him to some degree, he'll mostly likely make a mess of it all. |
Righteousness2:Can't agree less. You don't negotiate with a spiritual terrorist. If he persist she should just set him up. An old man full of knowledge but lack wisdom deserve nothing but shame! |
Two heavy weight political parties with massive support, said they want the Tribunal proceedings aired live for everyone interested to follow up, the Tribunal said 'no', which is in consonant with the wish of only one of the party involved. So In tribunal mathematics, one political party interest is greater than that of two. But here we have security agencies who have no direct interest in the proceedings or outcome of the Tribunal advising them to go clandestine, as if it was a secret society meeting and they'll most likely oblige. Since when has phone become an instrument of injustice capable of affecting the pronouncement of a judicial panel? Instead of allowing propaganda and heresay to thrive, why not allow people a first hand information, instead of encouraging a hide and seek situation. We sincerely don't want to make progress in anything as a country! |
Our dear president in complete detach from the feelings of his subject for eight years. Even if you don't check up on national dailies, why not on television? At leas, a lot of feelings are reeled out from there too. It's such a pity to be governed by one who is not in touch with the reality of the existence of its subject, God can't be happy with anyone in such position. |
Left for Lagos political juggernauts, they won't want him to put Ambodes name in the list. As far as they're concerned the Ambode that was cheered as the best among the rest during his time, is no longer useful because their master say so. |
God has a way of attracting, sometimes even In a vigorous manner those he love. The police and inmates may not understand what could happened to him spiritual within those few days, like Paul on his way to Damascus. When God sees you truly are yet to get the possible encounter with him to warrant your surrenderedness, he'll provide such opportunity even if it's once in your life time before you die, so that no man who go to hell will claim not have a chance at all to repent and beleive in the Lord Jesus Christ. Just like Abiola and perhaps Gani Fawehinmi, your religious affiliation can't stop Jesus from acquainting you with him as the only way to God. Wether you'll let your will or the blindness occasion by religion to such privileged reality is another thing. |
And he would still have being going to mosques, worshipping the god of self with dead conscience; who can't tell him its a sin to steal from other people's effort and possessions. He probably may have repented at the next prayer opportunity as a means to silencing his conscience, while hoping it's all hold to unto the stolen money and gadget still, but now the Lord has taught otherwise. This is a lesson for all. If you marry somebody else's wife or husband, steal countries common wealth as a political office holder, steal people's belonging as a loafer, or a policeman or military personnel stealing the general public through threat or bribery; you got to make your ways right by returning those I'll gotten wealth to national treasury else you'll not be able to enter the kingdom of God at last no matter how many times you pray a day and for what! |
Does a king preside over an empty kingdom? People you want to preside over said they don't want you, and you want to force yourself on them. How will your reign not be turbulent? Though Obi a late Comer he has contributed far more to the growth and wide acceptance of the party than Daddy Apata. A party that cannot Win any tangible position since inception except the victory of Mimiko which was achieve on the ground of personal prowess and self recognition, but Obi Tsunami made even people without history and financial war chest honourables in waiting. So how are you of more value to the party than him? |
Which governor is spending that on religion? Is he an unknown governor? So why not mention his name. |
joeargy:Don't bother yourself about non essential issues of life. That name is unofficial and won't stick officially, so just rest your mind. On the other hand if the destiny of Daniel becomes that of your child, don't you know you're a lucky man? or between a godly, intellectual child with excellent spirit, and the one with fanciful name but manaseh in character and spirit, which of the two do you prefer? |
googi:So you think Idol worship is home to Africa? |
North and quest for power! But Buhari for eight years was appointing virtually all his northern brothers to choice positions, south or southerners didn't roar. So what's making the North roar now? |
When you get a job as a quota system beneficiary, you are not likely to value it much. Instead of concentrating on how to do their job through laid down rules they swore to uphold, they'll be looking for ways to colonise people who are wiser and more sensible that them, with their archaic religious system and believe. Unfortunately they perpetrate evil the most. |
khalling2008:Are you presently working with your sharia degree? |
This is all they know, religion. Put them in a place to better their life and family and the nation, instead of doing just that they'll rather delve into irrelevances like this. Nigeria is a secular state with its constitution and rules, that should be enough to keep everyone in check if he's serious about doing his job. And for crying out loud, the brain behind FRSC is wole soyinka a non-Muslim. Moreover was it sharia qualification or degree that got him the job? |
Unless you repent and confess all your act of unfaithfulness to your wife, only then can you receive a genuine and perfect assurance of salvation, without it you can never have required peace of mind even if you confess to God a million times, because the deeply horizontal nature of your act of marital misbehavior and incontinency. The marriage is worthless before God wether you pay her bride price or not, as Polygamy is unacceptable to God, whatever the justification for going into it. You also inadvertently place a tag of illegitimacy on the children born out of this unholy wedlock. |
In eternity she will only be struggling for her pass, she won't even remember if a 'ASAP' or RZA exist. That judgement day will be a most solemn moment with the truth, for all workers of iniquity. |
God is not a respecter of person. The same hell that accommodate a peasant farmer who refuse the gospel and the word of God, will accommodate president of nations, prime ministers and professors. |
Instead of listening to what God says, they'll rather get busy inverting God into their life of disobedience. If you're a second or third wife in any man's life vice versa or a side chick; you're not a wife but a thief and an intruder, and a usurper. The earlier you repent the better, to avoid enjoying for a season here and spend your long eternity in hell. |
