Arise and shine y'all! Hope you had a great night?I recently posted a picture after receiving my discharge certificate on my IG @herodaniels and Facebook pages.
Suprisingly, this picture went viral on the social media and it was honestly exciting initially but it started getting a bit out of hand when some people didn't read my caption well.According to my caption on IG , I put in bracket that it was "a joke".I read a lot of comments on different social media platforms and trust Nigerians, we are as diverse with our views as we are with our culture..lol.I decided to put up this disclaimer because it got to a point that i was receiving a lot of calls and messages asking me if I had a baby and a babymama including calls from family members and relations.My friend (who is not the mother of the child by the way) and that cute adorable baby are also not left out of this pressure generated by this post even though my intentions were quite harmless.

Therefore , I wish to make it categorically clear that i am not in any form of intimate relationship with the beautiful lady and the cute baby isn't mine (wish she was though but legitimately sha)Also, I wish to apologise for the use of the word "babymama" which some people found derogatory but I only used it because it made my joke trendy considering the times we live in . Notwistanding, I do not advocate for having issues outside wedlock but if should ever happen to anyone, no one should be criticised or condemned for it!Kids are always God's blessings.

Hey guys, I'm a student of biomedical science or Med lab, anyone, in Ghana and it's 4 years. It's BSc. Tho but that is what is done here in Ghana compared to the BMLS in Nigeria. The next thing they have started adopting is the D MLS which is 6yrs. When I was doing my attachment during the holidays, I was told that my certificate will be like that of a technician in the lab and that I should do my masters immediately after school (I'm currently in 300L).

In Ghana normally, after the degree, they do a one year internship and after that they write their license exam. After which they are a full biomedical scientist with their license. But from what I heard, in Nigeria, that's not the system and I won't be recognized as a scientist. I've asked on how to go about it and I've received answers, some satisfying but I want to be completely sure. I want to hear from anyone if there's a way around it or something. I plan on visiting MLSCN this holiday to find out more tho

Mind you, what they teach in Gh is same as in Nigeria. I usually follow up with some of my friends in Nigeria so I know. I think the difference is just name written on the certificate.

Mls is 5yrs in the university plus 1 yr internship and a yr for nysc. for licensing of foreign trained graduates you can check mlscn website. mail them directly for clarification. Dmls was obstructed by powers in high places so for now it is still BMLs

believe what you want to believe. if you want to read mls pick up a DE form or stop disturbing yourself unnecessary. life doesn't end in the lab, there are a thousand and one opportunities out there to explore.

I shake my head whenever I see agric students coughing out 50k to transfer to anatomy and physiology here in UNIBEN. they are running away from that stigma of been in faculty of agriculture where they would have easily graduated with 2.1 to college of medical sciences where your 2.2 isn't guaranteed. please except you are transferring to any professional course in BMS :nursing,mls,radiography or physiotherapy. kindly save yourself the stress it ain't worth it.

most unis with mls usually have slots for DE students. Am in uniben 300level and 5 of my classmates came in via DE in 200level. So check if ur school offers mls it will be easier there.

Medicine and surgery/dentistry is tough no doubt but other medical sciences are too. The stress is overwhelming but you guys try to make it appear as if other medical sciences are a child's play. Am in medlab,my routine is now like a programmed software waking up by 5 am when my roomates are still sleeping and coming back 6 Pm daily, leaving for night class and returning by 1,2am.. Most times 4hrs practicals 3 days a week from 2-6PM after lectures from morning to 2pm,not to talk of posting and the rest. Pharmacy students too here in Uniben are like ghosts, you hardly see them in their room. Probation, expulsion is very common from nursing, to pharmacy to medlab.. In conclusion any course in the medical field is stressful because you are going to deal with human lives so the training is in such a way to make you not just a graduate with paper result and license but a practitioner of your course..
