benedictnsi:That means our youth voice can't be heard anymore? |
The long waited ministerial lists was finally released after four months hoping to see new names. But to my own surprise the names that was there are not people we don't know. We don't even have a young person at all in the cabinet. The people there have been ruling us before are still intact. Almost all of them holds of certain post in this nation before. Don't you think this people shouting change are just using us? The only thing they will come out again to tell us is that " WE ARE THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW". Please when is tomorrow coming with this attitude of our leaders that refuse to step down? Hope the youths are not the Mugus of tomorrow? |

Michellla:thank God u know |
To me when a man have already shown an immeasurable affection and the lady knows that two of them have the same future purpose and they can easily get along with each other, proposing to her either in public or private has nothing to do with their love life. Not proposing to her doesn't mean man is not romantic or caring or even proud of her enough. I think both partners should not get carried away with too much of fantasies and show off lifestyle that they adopt from celebrities cos not all guys pay too much attention to all those kind of fantasy. Facing reality of life ahead of them should always be their target. Real lovers works on their future not their present. |

Nigerian OAP, Toke Makinwa, has shared her views on how marriage is seen in the Nigerian society. Toke said in most cases, Nigerian men feel intimidated by working class women. According to Toke, the society seems to force ladies to rush into marriage, which sometimes results into breakups. In her Vlog, Toke said, “Marriage is how you are seen in the society; marriage is how you are duly respected. If you are not married, there is no hope for you. 30 is knocking at the door. If you have crossed 30 even worse, you need tips.” She added, “You have to make a truce; You either chose to follow your career or you chose to get married. You cannot do the two at the same time, it cannot work. They believe that when a woman is career driven he is a threat to men, men will not approach you. "Therefore, you are approaching 45 if not 50 and you are single, forget career. Career is not going to keep the night warm for you when you are 40. Career is not going to keep you company when you are going to need it. Career is not going to sleep with you.”

There’s no one among us who does not like to have more money. If you sometimes wonder about how the rich and successful have so much of it though, you need to read on. We have compiled a list of hacks that you can apply in your daily life to save money the way wealthy people do. 1. Be careful about small expenses. All of us are usually careful about making big investments and huge purchases. However, we tend to spend recklessly on seemingly small expenses. But of course, these small expenses can be sum up to a big amount. Look everywhere you can to cut a little bit from your expenses. It will all add up to a meaningful sum. 2. Focus on the future. It is very easy to spend money for getting something that we like but at the end of the day, you will end up spending everything no matter how well you earn. Shift your focus to the future instead of getting satisfaction in the present. You can be young without money, but you can’t be old without it 3. Don’t buy unnecessary things to make an impression on people. Although we all like to have good feedback from our peers and friends regarding the things we own, we need to set a limit for us. You should buy things that you need but don’t just buy those to impress others. Otherwise the sky isn’t the limit for buying things. Stop buying things you don’t need, to impress people you don’t even like. 4. Put things in black and white. There are so many expenditures in today’s world that you would end up without any savings if you don’t plan and budget your money; the inflows and the outflows. Wealthy people know where their money comes from and where it goes. A budget is telling your money where to go, instead of wondering where it went. 5. Work hard. Unlike the common perception that wealthy people just have fun and enjoy their life, the reality is that they work harder than the common person, at least in the most productive age. So try to increase your income, and when it gets increased, save a larger portion of it than ever before. 6. Save a huge portion of your income. Again, we think that wealthy people are always splurging and spending on things. No, they are not. That is why they remain wealthy. They always save a portion of their income. So save a large proportion of what you get. This will ensure that you do not run out of money at any point in time. 7. Make the most of sales and bargains. Just like us, the rich love to get the highest value of money. They always try to look for getting more value through finding great deals, bargains and discounts. Why should you pay more for something that someone else is paying less for? 8. Invest your savings wisely. We usually ignore the small amounts but such tiny amounts can add up to a substantial sum. If you have more, it is even better. To top it, if you invest the money properly, you will be amazed at the result yourself. 9. Practice the Millionaire’s Formula. A common man’s way of thinking is usually that he saves after meeting the necessary expenditures. A wealthy person’s style is the opposite: we like to call this the Millionaire’s Formula. Here’s how it goes: upon receiving your income, put a certain percentage towards giving back to the community, and also a certain percentage for your investments for your financial goals. Only spend what is left. “Do not save what is left after spending, but spend what is left after saving.” – Warren Buffet 10. Close leakages. The wealthy don’t ever pay any unnecessary charges. They remain very careful about the fees and charges that can be avoided. Beware of little expenses; a small leak will sink a great ship. Follow these simple, practical tips in your life and you will be able to see the difference yourself. Happy savings |

Which one do you prefer most? Is it to fall in love or be in love or feel in love? |
missgray:what verse is that in bible? |
There is a controversy about divorce and re-marriage as a sin. I read one article on this topic which says when a man/woman divorce each other except for marital unfaithfulness is a sin. Also if a man/woman marry a divorced man/woman except they left their marraige because of marital unfaithfulness they have committed adultery. Do you think the author was right? |
Which one is yours?
1. Husband
2. Wife
3. Father
4. Mother
5. Your siblings
6. Others (Specify) |
Many people do it and see it as normal thing while some other people didn't think is right. To my fellow nairalanders, what's your own opinion about it? |
Many people think this is a good idea to clarify both families mind that the two can actually give birth. They think some girls of nowadays wayward lifestyle is so rampant that they find it hard to believe them, because most of them have destroyed their womb due to abortion. Some even doubt if the man is medically fit enough and other thinks its not right because of religious belief or culture practice or personal reasons. But let's come to think of it, do you think its really necessary that a lady should be pregnant before getting married to his husband to be? |
And it’s easy to see why, right? This touching photo of a devoted father with his little boy, who seems oblivious to his act of kindness, has been viewed over a million times. The doting dad is literally soaked to the skin as he walks down the street with his briefcase in one hand and his bone dry young son holding on to the handle strap of his umbrella in the other.
