Stop ranting and read what I wrote. Better still borrow from your parents' IQ
If I can borrow IQ from my parents means they have a lot, but I'm afraid your lineage is dependent on Cassava, Corn and Yam for the formation of their IQs, little wonder you and your demented folks are queued behind BAT the indisputable king of Cassava.

It's laughable grin grin fools can't return my Amen lol! Their hatred for Tinubu has blocked their sense of reasoning to the extent of them seeing their foods used to make the Akpu and Eba they munch like gorillas as abomination
Your tribe is known for eating the back of yam, that's the part we feed to goats in my region yet we don't abuse you because of that. But here you are ranting and salivating to eat corn and cassava, I'm not surprised cos from back of yam to corn and cassava is actually a huge step in life. It's just like transforming from a homo-Erectus or neanderthal into a proper human being.

Wish you best of luck in this your transformation journey.

Did you see where he stated he meant 5 million youths and not 50 million. He corrected himself few days after that. Roll along
5 million youths? Even India and China with populations of more than 1.4b people don't have such numbers of military personel.

When 5 million people are taken out of the workforce and enlisted to fight Boko haram how many people will be left to farm the Cassava they will eat in the morning, Corn at noon and Yam at night? Your mum and dad?

How do you think a human being will look after 1 month of been placed in such moronic diet?

Agbado and Cassava are part of our stable diet here in Nigeria, there is nothing wrong in eating them.

These food don't come cheap and many of you eat them daily, who doesn't like cooked and roasted agbado and pear, so what is now wrong with eating Agbado and Cassava, apparently from Agbado and Cassava, you can get lot of processed food like african salad, garri, fufu, starch, corn flakes, flour etc. These are the foods, we eat daily.

A day without Agbado and Cassava is a day with Hunger.
You think you're smart and BAt is clever?

Tinibu actually said Cassava in the morning, Corn in the day and Yam at night, so you yourself would allow your children to enlist in Nigeria Army and be fed these foods 3 times a day while fighting terrorism?

Hi

To be realistic 6 million won't be enough especially if the rented space have to be redesigned to soothe ur standard ..

Budgeting 6m means ur target market are those who are ready to spend money on clothing's for you to break even and make profit with time ..

For this kind of business u definately won't be using a single standard shop space but double space shops..

Rent would go btw 800k to 1.5 million but I wouid say keep 2m..

U might find somewhere u love but it's not up to ur budget that is y I have asked u to budget 2m..

If the rent falls lower then better for you ..

Budget 2 million for ur interiors

Bros no shout say i say 2 million ..

The rising cost of materials no be here

The bulk would go to the wood partitioning , Glass display, partition and showcase .. wall papers , paint or 3d design.. electricity.

I.e Glass u can get a quote by 7 am for it and by 12 noon u decide to make transfer to the seller you wouid hear

Oga glass don add money ..

Same thing appiies for wood MBF or HCF depending on the type u wish to use ..

Electricity is gonna take up much .
This one wey one wey one coil from Coleman cables is now 9k don't know the lighting design u might use but u need lots of light to illuminate ur boutique.

The electrical fittings too come to mind .

someone mentioned u can get 40 mannequins at 200k
Don't know if the person is an importer oh

Even locally manufactured ones sell above 10k

The ones a client used for his boutique ranges from 28k

Mannequins are of different types and prices vary..

The Remaining 2ilion should be budgeted for clothes shoes and other stuffs

Annoying thing is when u come back from the market and u try to display the arrange the items u might get discourage that u spent that amount but ur boutique is not full..

Pls don't be discourage .

If u have more money go back to the market but if not this is what u wouid do ..

Let's say u got a double shop seal up one to the public and fill up the single shop ..

The other shop would be like work in progress ..this makes ur shop look Fuller in public eyes instead of displaying scanty items in the double space ..

When u have the funds u can open up the other having restocked properly ..

Now to save money I wouid advice u to ask for quote from three vendors

Go to the market and buy the wood and accessories ,, glass , aluminium and electrical fittings yourself ..

Believe me u wouid save a lot of u procure the items urself ..

Use social media to Target sales around u ....

I hope this helps ..
Thank you sir but the amount you’re quoting dey shake my heart..

There is huge profit in boutique business in Nigeria, all powered by our Yahoo yahoo youths.. The are the greatest customers.

Back to the topic I saw one niggar saying that 40 mannequins for 200k, my brother, the last one I bought was around 55k each...

MY Brother, the challenge in boutique business is not abt capital, the most important is is good location and management.

I started my own in one road side container but very busy road. Today I have another bigger shop with more that 4 million goods all with capital of 250k
shocked

Waste of money if you ask me . Considering how much you'd pay for rent , advert, cost ( salary of staffs & theft inclusive) & business Development.
Take that 6m and shop for 3 Toyota 2004 Corolla & Camry cars on Copart. Import & clear them, add 150-250k on them for sale.
Tell your Vulcanizer /mechanic to find buyers or put it on your social media pages.
Within 1-2weeks, you'll have made almost 600k profit on that investment.
Add money to it & reinvest your profit. You can never go wrong with Toyota cars (especially Corollla & Camry) in this present day naija.

If you want to go through the hire purchase route, import & clear them. Do the paper works (comprehensive insurance inclusive). Put it on Nairaland, Uber Taxify page .
Many people would declare their interest. Do your due diligence ( get an army officer involved) before giving out your car.
Ask for intial downpayment of 300-500k and put it on hire purchase adding 300-500k profit on it. Compound that for 2years.
If the driver breach your contract, you can retrieve your car & sell it for good money. It is Toyota.
With comprehensive insurance, you wouldn't have to worry about accident, as insurance coy would come thru. It may take time but you will be glad you insured your car.

Na soap i cut for you o.
Mehn…. Na who no ask no go know.

Thanks man.

I think 6 million is good enough.

You can get a shop for 700k yearly
Repairs, carpentry works, Electrical & electronics setup, furnitures -(1m should cover everything that needs to be fixed and setup)

Mannequins #200,000 for about 40 pieces

The rest would go into getting authentic wears (shoes, bags, hats, shirts, trousers, belts, etc)

You can get Authentic wears at Eko market or online from international stores online.

I have a plug in Eko market that deals in high grade wears, and I know a couple of online stores that you can get Authentic stuffs.

6million is a great budget

If you need more information, let me know.
This is the type of estimate I want.

Thanks you.

Jesus I am not familiar with Lagos Terrain .

When I wanted to start my electronics shop .

I spent 460k to 500k cos I built the shop myself from scratch since the landlord do not have the funds .

We now use the amount as 5years payment plan with monthly payment of 5k.

I spent about 80k on shop design which include bill board that lastest fancy plastic billboard used by boutique guys now cost about ,100k for the iron one.

Went to Alaba and registered with electronics companies with my CAC .

I used just ,500k as a capital startup then . And within 2years I bought my first car.

The main thing is make sure u ask from who know road on best places to buy the good cheaply that way u did save a lot of money.

Cheers and wish you success
But electronic shop can almost be set up anywhere, the need to get bustling site cannot be compared to that of a Boutique.

All the same, thanks for the insight.

We always claim to be educated yet we can't even feed ourself, we have natural resource yet we are not miles ahead of this people.
We are educated we can't even provide a leader yet we are being cheated by the ones we call uneducated or Illetrate, I don't know what is education to you if you not using it to lead.
Its just like saying Nigeria is the giant of Africa yet even common 24hrs of Electricity we don't have.
Education is all about result if we can't even have food, roads then we just going to school for nothing.
I'm ashamed that we keep supporting the bad leaders just because of they are our people the fact remain we are behind and lost in fantasy, untill we wake up and realize that we just tools that is being use for the greatness of the north.
Disgraced me lol the bad names Yahoo boys already gave to us is not enoug, did you see the way they check Yoruba people going to Mecca in Lagos Airport compare to the ones going through Kano Airport.
Make I no talk wetin my eyes don see as a Yoruba guy but you won't no this because you still think I'm tarnishing the south.
We? Who’s we? Nothing proves that a southern blood runs in your veins. Be proud of where you come from, that you’re a fulani doesn’t mean you should hide under another ethnicity to glorify this ignominious fulani agenda.

1 million Japanese are more educated than the entire hausa and fulani population combined yet more than 120 million Japanese depend on the US for food. So how does feeding oneself equate to being educated? Why do you keep misfiring? Or is it the famine ravaged North that feeds herself? The same North that depends on all kinds of Humanitarian aids, from the World Bank to Bill Gates, Red Cross, even religious Catholic Missions they abhor to survive? Majority of all the Aids given to Nigeria are being cornered to the North in the name of being the regional poverty capital of the world and yet you want to claim they feed themselves? You’re a pathetic joke!!!

Maybe if the Revenues generated in the South are being used to develop the South alone and not having to bear the burden of unproductive parasites like you from the North we would have 24/7 electricity in the South and then live up to the Giant of Africa hype. You think people have the North of Nigeria in mind when they call it the Giant of Africa? You seem to be irredeemably delusional!!

I don’t expect a half baked quota system benefactor to reckon with the fact that Nigeria was designed to serve the interests of those who find themselves in the corridors of power.
The last time I checked, it was majority, if not all of Northern lawmakers who voted against the Electronic Transmission of Votes. A bill that would have tackled election rigging and enable every region elect a competent leader. It’s clear the South wants a progressive future while North keeps dragging her light years back. The joke of not having good leaders is on you!!

Who are those checking Yorubas in Lagos? Southerners. Who are those checking fulani and hausa in Kano, hausa fulani. So are you saying that we shouldn’t use proper security measures in our regions because the North don’t do same in the North? Basically you’re saying we should live by the warped terms and examples in the North? And you seriously want to claim being Yoruba? You should check into the nearest mental asylum if actually you’re anything close to Yoruba.

You must be a fool to believe this trash.

Truth is this fulani government has siphoned N166 billion from Southern Revenue cows for their ethnic agenda. This news is just to play on our intelligence, reverse psychology. I am also Igbo from the Northern Nigeria. Nothing like mainstream Igbo or South East Igbo. The next President should be of Igbo origin regardless of where he or she comes from, be it North or south, the person should just be igbo
The person should not just be Igbo, the person must have the progress of the Southern Nigeria as priority. You can’t make someone like Okorocha President and say he’s a Southern President talk more of Igbo.

This time around the interest of the South must Supersede that of Nigeria. Unless you’re saying we should continue being foolish in fighting for Nigeria, while the Northerns vehemently and exclusively put their ethnic interest above Nigeria.
