RomanceIs It Bad Asking Your Partner "What Next" The Day He/she Quits His/her Job? by sinistermind(op): 9:59pm On Mar 15, 2016
My Girlfriend decided to quit her job because of the stress is not commensurate to the pay. The day she resigned and got home, I asked her "what next?". Please was I wrong to have asked her that on the same day she quit her job? Cos she really took it bad like i'm pressuring her to work.

I want your opinion.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Has Destroyed Nigeria’s Economy – APGA Scribe by sinistermind(m): 8:19pm On Mar 15, 2016
I want to believe that most people on this forum are educated but it is disheartening that when there's a post some people just read the topic and not contents before they post a comment. This man hasn't said anything wrong, he said it openly that he didn't support GEJ because he believed GEJ failed and he supported Buhari hoping things will get better but we are getting worse. He spoke my mind and i believe the mind of most people. i have said it before and i will say it again, if Mr. President wants to revive the Economy, he needs to look beyond party affiliation and appoint capable hands. the situation in Nigeria is gradually becoming a tussle between "wailers" and "zombies"... It's sad, very sad.

Doesn't anyone find it suspicious that the EFCC is only interested in investigating the campaign finances of the opposition party ? shocked

Who is probing the campaign finances and cash disbursements of the APC ?

Do we have campaign finance laws in Nigeria or not ?

If we do, then anyone, both opposition and ruling party, who violated such laws should be commensurately punished.

But here, we have a quasi-judicial arm of executive branch witch-hunting the opposition, without doing the same across the party boundaries.

How much did Amaechi, an erstwhile public office holder, for example, spend on APC's Ascension to power?
How many of the petitions against Amaechi, including reports from CNN about $787m stashed in a named US bank, have been investigated by the EFCC ?

The dishonesty of this locust junta is laughable.
Gbam!!! My thought exactly.

Hehehe... at last they have linked something to ffk nd dis isn't a witch-hunt. Quote me, very soon, Reno Omokri, Doyin okukpe and Ben Murray Bruce will be linked to one form of corruption. Trying to do so to Fayose, but that man seems strong willed.

codemaniacs:
check nairaland agriculture section.. there are many youths that are into farming in southern Nigeria... Most are already into agriculture.... northern labor is cheap.. so some southerners use northerners to sell their agric products.
Like I said large scale commercial agriculture. An average southerner prefers building or selling hi piece of land instead of going into agricuture. And besides most youth in the south go into agriculture cos of lack of "whit-collar" jobs, I stand to be corrected.
PoliticsRe: CCT Trial: APC Leaders Divided Over Saraki by sinistermind(m): 7:10pm On Mar 14, 2016
Saraki is a smart man. APC might implode becos of this case. Saraki isn't a politician of yesterday. Ekweremadu became his deputy for a reason.
PoliticsRe: Southerners Erroneously Think The North Is Dependent On The South - Ben Bruce by sinistermind(m): 6:57pm On Mar 14, 2016
Without prejudice to th original post, I beg to differ. The southern part of Nigeria which includes the south west, south south and south east are capable enough to produce food in commercial commodity but most don't want to go into agriculture. And to say the southerners are dependent on the north is just how Sen. Ben sees it. The south has more fertile soil for large scale commercial farming and can even survive without food supply from the north but can the north survive without the oil from the south?

If she has a case to answer, any evidence of corruption will make her lose her integrity internationally. And her being outside d country doesn't stop the EFCC from publishing any evidence against her.

Call her a thief or what so ever, she is still one of the best minds that has ever been in the presidents' cabinet. Can all those calling her a thief bring out a fact or source that links her to any of the allegations. Oshiomole Shouted, Falana ranted and till now there's still nothing. She can't still be standing tall in the international scene If she truly had something to hide. So abeg free d woman.

All these religious fanatics should shut up we don't know anything about God. What he will judge nobody knows live according to what you believe in. The mind of God is far far from the mind of Man stop condemning other churches. Bro what is sin? Let me tell you sin remain a mystery.
My Brother, I wonder o. All we know about God is written in the Bible. No one can say he or she knows the mind of God. Most people condemn according to their understanding of what they read from the Bible. I have long ago refrained from condemning others beliefs. These things are being seen as sinful and wrong are the same thing most people testify to have received miracles through.
Christianity EtcRe: What The Bible Teaches About These Five Church Practices by sinistermind(m): 11:08am On Mar 13, 2016
I prefer not to say anything on this topic. We say these things, but there are people that have one or two thing to say about everything you said to assert their beliefs in what you listed. Be careful about condemning religious beliefs. Whether you like it or not, the Bible was compiled by men like ourselves and not by a supernatural force or being.

It gladdens my heart whenever I come across posts like this; it shows we still have youths that think for themselves rather swallow religious doctrines "hook, line & sinker".

Every point you have raised is true, but I've got one more to add (actually, I've got more than one, but I'd only give one for now and save the others for later).

In Matthew 23:9, Jesus said “And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and He is in heaven". Obviously, we know he wasn't referring to our biological fathers here.

But what do we have today? Starting with Roman Catholics calling their priests 'Rev Fathers', we move on to pentecostals with titles like 'Daddy G.O.' 'Papa this' and 'Papa that'. When you ask why, they say these guys are their "spiritual fathers" angry
If your pastor is your spiritual father, then God is what? Your biological father? undecided
You can like to call ur dad by name.

Foreign AffairsAPC Moves To Suspend Kwankwaso Over Alleged Anti-party Activities by sinistermind(op): 7:12am On Mar 11, 2016
KANO—The leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Kano State chapter has initiated moves to suspend former Governor of the state, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso for alleged anti-party activities.
The chairman, Kano chapter of the party, Alhaji Haruna Umar Doguwa, told newsmen in Kano that the senator had during a recent visit to the state allegedly exhibited actions capable of compromising the party’s unity.
According to Doguwa: “The case of party indiscipline by Kwankwaso would be thoroughly investigated and dealt with in accordance with the constitution of our party”.
Kwankwaso was alleged to have stormed Abdullahi Ganduje village on a condolence visit with supporters chanting perceived derogatory songs against the bereaved the state governor, Alhaji Abdulahi Ganduje.
Doguwa claimed that “what specifically made the visit a misdemeanour to our party spirit of discipline and brotherhood was the fact that the visit was purely political as against the mission of condolence. The act of thuggery and brazen show of daggers, swords and other dangerous weapons by sponsored/hired hoodlums was totally unwholesome and condemnable.”
He declared that the party acknowledged his presidential ambition, maintaining that “our loyalty and commitment is to President Muhammadu Buhari, his policies and programmes”. Doguwa said the party would ensure that discipline is enforced as prescribed by the party’s constitution. Efforts to get reaction from the former Governor through Aminu Abdulsalam, his former Commissioner, Government House Affairs, was unsuccessful. He said that “We want to react formally to issues raised by party chairman but at the moment, we are waiting to take delivery of the conference paper.”

Foreign AffairsBuhari Sweeps Off 184 Top Officials Over Budget Padding by sinistermind(op): 7:01am On Mar 11, 2016
President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday, made good his threat to deal ruthlessly with top civil servants who altered figures in the 2016 budget thereby making nonsense of his zero budget plan. No fewer than 184 top budget officials were flushed out of budget duties and sent to establishments that have little or nothing to do with budget, as a punishment for their roles in padding this year’s fiscal document, now before the National Assembly. A top official in the Budget office confirmed that 22 top officers from the Budget Office of the Federation were affected in the mass deployment. The rest were moved away from budget-related duties in other Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs.

It was learnt that out of the 22 top officials indicted in the budget office, four were directors on Level 17, six were deputy directors while 12 were Assistant directors. As the affected officials were moved from their posts in the Budget Office, 14 other directors said to have been ‘tested’ have been redeployed to the same office with immediate effect. The order to remove the tainted officials from their previous posts to other duties, was conveyed to the affected offices by the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation, according to findings. All the affected officers, according to the directive, are to report in their new locations on or before the close of work today. When contacted, the Media Adviser to the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Mr. Akpadem James, confirmed the development but declined to give further details. It would be recalled that while in Saudi Arabia last month, President Buhari had threatened to punish all those who were involved in the padding of the budget. Apart from removing the director of budget, he also merged the budget office with the planning ministry.
