@ebugirl thanks. Would the affidavit be addressed to the canadian embassy or that's not necessary

@ all .. Should the affidavit of support be on company letter head or on plain paper. The sponsor is my mum

@flawless~diva The school is good, as a matter of fact, it's one of the only 4 uni"s in canada that are part of the top 100 in the world. The school is in Hamilton, Ontario and their tution for a pre med course is between 18000-20000 CaD , on campus accomodation will cost between 4000-6000 CaD (food inclusive). I just confirmed from someone who schools there that it's too late to apply for admission. Your friend will have to wait till next September as there is no january intake.

They're both good, but University of Toronto is better,, the marking down issue isn't true, your friend shouldn't bother herself with it. And one more thing is if your friend is looking to go to med school after her pre med, York currently doesn't have a medical school.. So it's not a good option in that sense, if I was personally to recommend a school, I'll recommend Mc Master
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada-part2 by SirP1: 9:08am On May 23, 2012
@flawless-diva First your friend needs to do a pre med which may be biochem, neuroscience, kinesiology e.t.c before med school. University of toronto will cost about 28000 cad tution for a premed course. York is about 18000 cad for tution

@Fhemmmy and all. I need ur urgent advice on it, like I said earlier my mom has been fundin her acct with about 600k for the past 3months.. But we just found out we need to pay the fees this month(its a pre uni boarding school) my mum has the balance in another acct but my question is won't it look suspicious for someone who has been making deposits of 600k per month to suddenly move 1.6mil to the acct in a month OR would it better to move all the money to where the balance Is and then pay?? Thanks

@Fhemmmy and all. My sponsor(mum)is self employed and has been funding her acct with an average of 600k for the past 3months, now she wants to put 1.2m in it this month in 3 installments I.e 400k 3x (so it won't look sudden).. Could this create any issues with the embassy?.. Thanks

@Beehandz Goodluck, from what ive read here, It's not always about how much is in a sponsors acct but how well you prove your relationship with the sponsor. So if you've submitted docs to prove that, you shuld be good to go

@ all , I want to clarify something, when a family wants to go the us for tourism purposes, does each applicant have to book an interview/appointment separately or will 1 appointment suffice for the whole family.

@paschal137 you didnt include your sponsor's tax clearance and company registration??
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada-part2 by SirP1: 7:06pm On Mar 28, 2012
@caryoday . I might be able to shed some light on the tax clearance matter. For sponsors who are self employed, the amount paid is determined by your biz. School , hotel and hospital owners pay a specific amount..owners of Auditting companies pay a specific amt. For employees i think its pay as you earn so tax is paid based on what you earn.. And concerning verification there is a number on your tax card , the embassy just needs to go the website e.g if its ogun state its irs-ogun.com enter the no and have access to your info

@ollydon there are many websites where you can practice online. check google for such sites and with enough practise you're good to go
Travel / Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part2 by SirP1: 2:56pm On Mar 18, 2012
@ollydon You have to do a pre-med course first before going to medical school. the pre med course is more like a first degree.

Folons: Pls help me out on this.:A loan requires d borrower to repay #1000 after 1year,2000 after 2yr,3000 after 3yr and 4000 after 4yr. At what time wil he pay a single payment of 10000 to b re-pay alone wit 4% effective rate

I think You need to use the formula for calculating Annuity A = P(1+R/100)n (the n is superscript)

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by SirP1: 11:15am On Mar 11, 2012
@justwise Ok, so on the application form what should be written as monthly income?? As regards the tax clearance they each have and pay the amt required for people who own a school / hotel or hospital..
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by SirP1: 8:38am On Mar 11, 2012
@justwise one more question, i read it here that the amount you claim to be earning monthly must correspond with the amount in your account.. As you know, in a self employed biz the money earned is not fixed so it could be higher or lower than what is quoted in the form. My question now is - must the money in the acct be EXACTLY what you say you earn or can it be higher or lower occasionally.
