@justwise and others, I need to ask a question. My mum 'n' and dad are planning to apply for a tourist visitors visa by November(i know that's far but they wanna get info and plan ahead), My mum has a personal acct and should have about 3million + then (makes b/w 400 - 500k monthly). My dad will have about 500k in his acct then and he has shares worth about 4million, Can they submit the two bank statements alone Or they must submit a business/coy bank statement? The prob is they pay staff and other bills from the coy acct so it goes high during the month and low towards the end of the month when staffs are paid, What do you think, will the personal statements suffice?

@justwise and others ,Please ill like to ask a question, i was going through cdhc's website and i saw the list of approved banks under the visa fees schedule, By "approved banks" are they referring to the banks which can issue a bank draft or banks which you can use their bank statements?.

I think you can do it on your own but if you want to use an agent use Maple , they're a bit expensive but they're Good. I haven't tried them personally but people on the Canadian Visa thread can confirm they're good

Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada-part2 by SirP1: 3:08pm On Jan 05, 2012
Please I have a question if the name on your passport is Williams-Mark John but the name on your secondary school transcript is Mark Williams John, is this enough for the visa application to be refused

The best option is for your dad/mum to sponsor you (if you use a distant relative your chances are smaller) if you can't get a sponsor, start saving

@OP my Advice for you is not to use a fake bank statement, because it will be verified, you'll be caught and Banned

What I still don't get about this visa processing thingie is why some people's own takes 5+ months and some people's own doesn't take up to 3months. What could be responsible for the time discrepancies?

I'm not saying so, just saying its difficult
Travel / Re: Relocating To Canada, How? by SirP1: 9:07pm On Dec 29, 2011
If you are not ready to do your PhD yet, explore the possibilities of a second Masters degree. If you want to relocate you either go through the education route or the FSW which isn't possible in your case
