Check wakanow like bumdish said or kayak.com I think the latter is better as it'll redirect you to the airlines official website.. But for one way your best bet is Emirates, which will take you to toronto , then you take a local flight to winnipeg, return your best bet is british airways tho you might need transit visa

@shavel and donnet , You guys should relax, your visa is sure by Gods grace. The wait aint easy o, mine is 3wks and a day now, no medicals.

@kennyGGG I don't think its too late, that's a bit over 4months, like I said earlier its better to submit w 4months to go and have no red flag than to submit in a hurry with loopholes

When you get there enter your "application reference no" this is on your submission receipt the no is something like NGA/xxxxxx/xxxx/01
If you can't find it on your receipt on the vfs website you'll get their email addy send a mail to them quoting name, date of birth, passport no, submission date and ask for the reference no, they'll send it to you

@donnet I think after medical the only thing that can stand in your way is if you fail the medicaltests (God Forbid) So dont worry yourself.

I think its better to submit with 4months to go with flawless docs than to hurriedly submit with loopholes.

@donxavier I just learnt that wakanow does the dubai visa, so when you get to the uk you can always get it done through them online.
If I may ask are you going to dubai for just shopping or sightseeing , tours e.t.c ?

@donxavier depends on how soon you wanna use the visa cos youll be given 3months or so, so if you do it here and dont use it you waste the money

@donxavier i think costs 170 - 200 dollars depending on which travel agent you use

@donxavier i dont know about canadian visa but as for dubai visa you just need to scan a copy of your passport page and a passport photograph to any good travel agent,( some 5star hotels can help you out with this process ) and you'll get a copy of the visa sent to your e-maail, then when you get to dubai you're given the original visa.

@hayek i understand you but dont forget that there are several people with travel history so if they were to even accelerate processing for such people there will be a lot of people to deal with again infact majority of people on here myself inclusive have travel experience .

@hayek Note visiting various countries (uk, us, schengen) serves as more of a tie than visiting one country 7 times .. they might suspect the person is even working there depending on how frequent the visits are

@hayek Well what can we say, you know visiting a country 7 times and then applying for study visa could seem suspicious. They could feel you have something you're doing there and u wanna use study visa as opportunity to relocate perm. One doesn't know how this people (VOs) think

90perc is quite high, I think this year the general trend was people sponsored by parents get the medical call quickly compared with people sponsored by relatives. Probably less checks are done on people sponsored by parents..I submitted June.

@hayek I don't think applications are treated based on month of submission, if you look through this thread you'll know they're not treated that way. We've seen cases where Mr A submits february 12 for instance Mr B submits March 12 and Mr B gets medical call first week april and mr A has to wait months to get response.

@anyijoe from what I've seen here recently most people that are given get medical call up in 15working days (3wks) so you shouldn't worry yet, just keep praying
