@galala123 Wow you covered virtually every loop hole.. I really don't know what to say, I think the only problem is course choice. |
@galala123 Sorry about your refusal, in my opinion your lost passport isn't too much of a problem.. I think the issue is your course, doing a diploma after MBA is what I think the officer has an issue with. Your financial standings are good from what you said, are you married? Another thing is did you submit evidence of how your business would be run and who it would be run by in your absence because if you didn't they might think the business would crumble and you won't have anything to return to Just my opinion |
@cavenchy No p, you can always book it yourself online,I'll advice option 3, just 2hrs stop over, but if you'll book do it early because soon you won't be able to get seats on their website and you"ll be forced to use agents that'll charge more. |
136k on Emirates, one way for late aug(20th-30th) 2-3hr stopover. There might be cheaper ones on Egypt air / Turkish, but comfort is crucial. Dubai airport is superb and Emirates itself is among the very best |
@cavenchy what's your budget? |
Let me just add that if you carry all @honey86 said, be ready to tip Nigerian Customs HEAVILY |
@olaremy2k So sorry to hear that.. From what I've read from the first part of this thread, this bonafide thing can be because of -- Discrepancies between your UG course and Masters -- Your grades in general -- who your sponsor is -- your age in relation to what you're studying That's the little I know, I won't recommend you try canada again, you can try the us or australia. Take heart bro |
Dubai is good as well Etihad seats are 119k x 2ppl -- 238k Visas - 27k x 2 -- 54k Hotel for 5nights -- 75k ( could be less) Feeding for 5days -- 50k at most You still have money left for Shopping. |
@slamdunk99 Late Aug is always tough, you might still get a seat but it will be like 300k. If yóu can't sacrifice the appointment, your only choice is to check w other airlines, like Turkish.. If you can't get on turkish as well, you'll have no choice but to pay the 350k.. |

That above is the flight that leaves lagos afternoon there's the one that leaves at night |
@slamdunk99 check one way for August 2 on the emirates website. You're getting the "" there are no flights for the requested flight schedule"" message? If so keep checking , but I assure you there are seats even for late july |
@shavel if you want to enter dubai you can get their visa from any good agent for 170 dollars. If its just transit, no visa is required |
No you dont.. take the night flight leaving lagos so you wont spend a long time in transit |
@slamdunk99 any time from august seats are available on emirates, its now 205k to toronto through dubai. one way turkish airline for the 28th of july is 260k |
@slamdunk99 didn't you explore the emirates option? BA is 220k but transit visa. Try turkish as well. |
@opsy4real1 Please come up with the truth. If you're caught lying the consequences are painful. Your uk refusals shouldn't affect this interview as long as you meet all requirements. Just my 2cents |
Whoa, I really pity the UK. Canada and Australia are making friendlier immig. policies, uk is busy driving students away with their harsh ones.. By time they realise what they're doing to themselves it might be too late |
@donnet I assume you know the email to use, if you don't I think its - info.canadang@vfshelpline.com. Let me know how it goes. |
donnet: @sir p. Thanks for that. My dad is my sponsor and he added up to 5 landed properties to my document. one of it is a shopping complex another is a student hostel containing 16 self contains and also a story building of four different 3 bed room flat and another building of about 2 flat of 3 bed room each. My agent is working a company. They help me gain †ђε̲̣̣̣̥ admission and also working on my visa. No am not tracking anything on †ђε̲̣̣̣̥ net. Maybe that is done by my agent and also can I know how to track it on net. Now I have go aheard to pay my fees can I take †ђε̲̣̣̣̥ money from †ђε̲̣̣̣̥ account that I show †ђε̲̣̣̣̥ embassy to pay.@donnet You need yóur application ref no to track and that's on the receipt which will most likely be with your agent. Tho you could try mailing VFS with your name, passport no, date of birth , submission date and ask for your reference no. |
@donnet. You have a good chance, who's your sponsor? Have you been tracking it on the VFS website or your agent just informed you? Who's your agent? |
@josh I don't think you can sponsor yóurself, because CDHC will be wondering how your 2nd,3rd and 4th year fees will be paid. Unless you have fees and maintenance for four years + as an undergraduate what kinda job do you do that will generate so much? Those are ?'S you should ask yourself |
Olami1224: @Sir P,@olami1224 Amen, no a foundation programme before university. We should be expecting medicals in 3wks by God's grace. Who's your sponsor? |
congrats @fflowers and @solomon okeigar |
@slamdunk99 emirates will cost you like 190k to Toronto, then you can book a flight from there to Vancouver |
@bancan There is no clique, I'm sure if you go through this thread you'll see some folks that applied for student visas and are still waiting 3/4 months later. I'll advice you to be patient and not pull out. |
Olami1224: My Nairalander i have finally submitted my application for JAN 2013.... Please pray for me'oooo................... God bless you all. God bless you all for the wonderful posts, and directions you've been contributing on this thread.@olami1224 I submitted mine yesterday as well, would have submitted some weeks ago, but I had to sort some things out.. Have you received the alert from VAC that your "application is now being processed bla bla" ? We shall all get there Amen! |
@dnpasion Based on what you have said your best bet is America. I'm sure there are hundreds of interviews on this thread, go through it to prepare yourself. The folks here will help you if you need more info. |
@dnpasion If you're going to the US for undergraduate programme SAT / WAEC should get you admission, if you're going to Canada for UG WAEC alone will most likely do, however if you want to do an A-Level / Foundation programme secondary school transcripts will get you admission. The option you choose depends on your financial standing, if you have your parents as your sponsors and don't mind cost, you can consider A level or Uni in canada. But if you're using a relative the US would be better. I'm saying this cos Canadian embassy rarely issues visas to applicants sponsored by relatives nowadays, but you have a good chance of being issued by the us embassy |
Oh my first time on a plane someone opened the window and the plane lost altitude .. Haha |
@onatisi loool, he missed his way. How did that happen?? A trained pilot missing his way? What happened to the radar, air traffic control, auto pilot, glide slope? |
I agree with @Vicjustice its impossible to kick open the door of a plane because the air pressure seals it shut, it could only be opened when the plane lands. Also, even if there was rapid decompression it wouldn't make the plane plummet ( lose altitude) , though it could make the ride uncomfortable |
@slamdunk99 Hope for the best man! I think it might be your visa |
