Popoolam did it it worked, I did it it worked...one other guy even left the space blank and it worked...
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by sisikemi23: 7:35pm On Jan 08, 2021
Hi everyone,

@ Otunba do you mean I can upload a letter stating that I don’t need Ietls to study in my school instead of Ietls results?

awys:
Wow this is indeed a miracle just this and me I was actually worried that my sponsor (mum) had a lump sum that was fixed and I just got the details of the investment from the bank but didn't include a letter to explain so the day I wanted to raise a webform to explain it that was the day NSE came in so I just use the opportunity to include the letter of the fixed deposit I was thinking fixed deposit isn't accepted but it actually worked for you congrats bro once again this can only be God.

deommanuel:
No, you shouldn't be worried.
If I'm correct, the letter was about NSE and informed you about faster visa processing times(20 days as opposed to the usual 2months+).

So the bank statement should be generated via mybankstatement service. You should reach out to your bank as regards this. This statement should have a balance of at least 30k Canadian Balance.

Concerning IELTS, you need to score an average of 6.0. I'll advise you register for the Computer based version of IELTS so you can receive your results earlier.

I'm sure you also saw the part where they mentioned that your application will be processed the normal way if you do not submit the two documents after 1 month I think. If you feel you won't be able to send those documents, you can ignore the letter and your application will be processed the usual way.

May I ask when you did your biometrics?

I wish you luck in your application.

Cheers smiley
Thanks for the info!!!
I did my biometrics on Monday and got the request letter the same day.

i noticed a lot of people are trying to soft pedal on your description, massaging your situation and romancing the Rejection(They will come with Jesus Story now) that is staring you in the face.

YOU CANNOT PROVE YOUR TIES TO YOUR RESIDENCE, in short your application will get a decision as Fast as a bicycle with no brakes.

Kill the thought entirely and return home to apply or Tell the person if it isn't really YOU.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by sisikemi23: 3:02pm On Sep 06, 2020
Thanks @JustMellow, I have a Nigerian International passport I hope it would be enough as proof of residence

JustMellow:
Hello Sisikemi23,

Everybody needs to show proof of citizenship or residence status whether being a citizen of the country or not, especially when it has to do with immigration.

Many may only think the birth certificate is met for demonstrating age accuracy or identity confirmation and the international passport for visa issuance, but these helps an immigration officer also ascertain one's nationality.

I was only asking so people may be sure on how to advice you and as well help others in future who may find themselves in same situation.

However, I was expecting a more specific or direct response that reference to either your birth certificate and/or international passport issued by NIS.

Back to the discuss, since your uncle has always been your sponsor and can evidently substantiate the claim, you seem to be good in terms of sponsorship.

You don't necessarily need to valuate your landed property but if the cost isn't too much to bear, then you may consider doing it. An advantage of doing it is that it demonstrate the worth of the property and could pass a subtle signal based on level of establishment to the VO.

All the best

Good morning,
Thanks for your replies guys i’m really grateful.

@JustMellow I think I don’t have to show any proof of valid residence status here because i’m Half Nigerian.

My sponsor is an uncle that has been sponsoring my education for years. I also got a partial scholarship from the school i applied to.

I have a landed property here in my name but do I need to value the property or just present its documents?

JustMellow:
Hello Sisikemi23,

Who is your sponsor and what proof of valid residence status in Nigeria are you showing?

In all honesty, it will be very difficult. Even those with valid jobs, family ties, investments, landed properties in Nigeria are still been delayed for HT. You can either work towards meeting one of these requirements.

Bet yet, apply from the country you think your ties is stronger.

All the best

Hello everyone.
Please I need an advice.
I got admitted into a university in Quebec with no funding and at the same time got a scholarship into another school in Quebec but i was’t able to secure admission into the school and I eventually lost the scholarship.I was supposed to use the first school admission letter to apply for visa but I deferred my admission to winter 2021.I want to reapply now and cancel my deferment but i would like to know if it’s a good decision since I will have to apply for caq first and I just have a month before ircc stop processing applications for fall 2020.

Guys are always complaining about broke girlfriends but an average Nigerian man will start feeling insecure when you start bringing out money from your pockets, the same ones complaining feel threatened when you do the spending.

Hello everyone
I applied to a school called Université Laval Quebec on the 10th of December last year for fall 2020. I’ve been expecting an admission response from them since that time but nothing yet.
I would like to know if anybody else has applied to the same school and if i should call them to request for a fast response.
Thanks
