i didnt know that despoil has now become a bad word. how can r.a.pe be a bad word? i think the word despoil" is just trying to underscore the true meaning and horrific nature of that word and it shouldnt be. very embarrassing and unfair to those who have gone through it. @ poster i hope that boy is also charged with ra.p.e because that is exactly what he did. |

try the business section also. someone there might know |
do not be afraid, i will lift you from all your fears |
speaking personally for myself, it is not something i would be proud of or gracefully encourage and i dont think any good mother in the deepest depth of her heart would also, but those are just wishes because at last, the girl is going to make the decision herself to or not to. but the good thing about is that as a mother and as a parent you are in better position to let her know her options and leave the decision to her. |
HIV/AIDS people need very bit of support they can get and it is very hard for member of your family whom should have your back when the world turns against you, to turn their back on you in such difficult time and at a time when you need their love and support the most. those with such illness should be treated with respect and love like any other human being. it is not a death sentence. and people need to be educated and be aware that touching or sharing a plate, spoon or fork or a toilet seat, bed etc doesnt transmit the infection. this is something most people are ignorant about which in turn warrants the ill treatment these people get. so families of those with such illness need to know that doing any of the above dont mean they will get it. and parents should not forsake their children because they have it. HIV/AIDS is not a death sentence. it is very manageable. the ill treatment and discrimination most get is often due to ignorant about the diseases |
^^^^ sometimes it can happen even to the most careful ones. some just get got in the moment that they forget the little person in the back seat. am sure it wasnt deliberately |
sometimes good intents are not popular. |
people have children so they can have someone like you who doesnt know the reason why people have children. j/k God said "go and multiple the world". so having kids is an order from the man upstairs want a family, continuation of lineage, financial and economy reasons, love, companionship, societal and family pressure, are just few of the reasons people have children. |
mistakes happen and i dont think any good mother with good intentions would leave her child in car to burn. she should be forgiven or have a lesser charge. hope the baby is ok |
listen to good music. i.e inspirational ones or something funky to wakeup the inner child in you take a walk watch some very funny movie do something good for someone(or say something nice to them) often a genuine smile from others alone can lift up our spirit. dont underestimate the power of a smile exercise. it helps a lot. |

@ poster seems like youre in dire need of a husband and by any means you must get married. better be careful, remember desperation attracts desperation. when men sense the "get married in '10 or get old trying" slate in you they will definitely take advantage of that and you will be back here with a thread titled "what is it with nigeria men" when you go home to look for a husband, conduct yourself and bring yourself down because these days not only women know to how pretend and do anything in-order to cross the border men are also in the game. and believe me you, they do really well in it. marriage is not a game of who gets there first or who gets the ring in the 4th finger earliest. if you rush into marriage, my dear i guarantee you, you will definitely rush out. |

Am always happy when i hear about girls and abortion. Its always a good thing to know that a girl has had an abortion and it only goes to show how gullible and silly she was. These days i try to date vunerable women who end up enjoying sex so much and in between they end up getting pregnant and missing their period. Those 2-3 weeks they have missed their periods is so hilarious when you see them scared and shaking and talking all kind of sh**t to see if the preganancy will go away and you end up coercing them to do the abortion unless their lives will be over as they know it.adam and his garbage are back ![]() |

FL Gators:my heart i dey oo. busyness no allow me breath ![]() how you dey? i missed you. hope u dey fine wishing a blessed and joyous x-mas in advance @gospelseed must be really hard for you to deal with such.it wouldnt surprise you to know that this problem is not uncommon, it is very common especially with children and many adults too. i think her main issue is the feeling of lack of security. she needs to be reassured that everything would be fine. in this case, she might think there is something in her room, like a monster or other imaginary creatures/stuffs, she needs to be reassured that there is nothing inside the room, and like Ebony suggested you could just rearrange the her room with her input just so to make her believe all the scary things in there are gone. if she is the only child, maybe you can get her a teddy bear or other stuffed toys to cuddle while sleep. try finding out the root of her fear of sleeping alone. it could something you could easily talk her out of her. and find ways to break the fears and insecurities. and i would suggest that whenever she wakes up and comes to your room, take her back to her room and reassure her there is no monster in there coz letting her sleep with you would increase the fear and make her believe that something is indeed wrong in there. this is the desensitization method. this would help her overcome the fear gradually. however, it will be hard at first but consistancy is the key. try maybe reading her a book before bedtime or keep the light on for a while and see if there is any difference. also be mindful of the types of movies and tv shows/programs she watches especially before bedtime. pray with her, and maybe give her a warm bath before bed. or you try the reward chart, rewarding her every time she sleeps in her room doesnt have to be monetary or foods could be stickers or similar things |
nodullme:you nearly gave me a heart attack with that your response ![]() |
