FamilyRe: Do you ever think Marriage Is Overrated? by Sissy3(f): 5:53am On Dec 31, 2009
Here is it. I am not a church goer, I not a church worker , I am born again. The real issue is greed and foolishness.
And when one partner is proud and arrogant. It kills a marriage.
You cant only have a good marriage if you have two humble and honest people. If the other people is a liar and a cheat, you can have a good marriage.
If a person is arrogant and proud. How can they have good marriage.

If your marriage depend on your pastor or church or parent. You would never have a good marriage. Look I have an aunty whose whole life was destroyed by a pastor. I am telling you the truth. if i am telling a lie her cousin use to be with the NTA, you know her. The pastor was a 419 pastor. He was a pastor because he was collecting thier money and telling them lies.  That why you find me, critic pastor alot. Till this moment I am talking this aunty of mine, never had a baby. She should be about 60 years now. Her married got destroyed because she assume that all pastors are men of God. That not truth. If a pastors is looking for the down fall of your marriage. How can that man be a pastors.huh

You see let me put it this way have you seen Pastor Adeboye wife going to Bishop Oyedepo church every sunday?  No. If Pastor Adeboye start going to Bishop Oyedepo church , Do you think Bishop Oyedepo would question it. If he is a man of God? But if he does not question it. He is a false pastor. It means , he is more interested in the tithe and offering you offer him than your life.

What Am I saying is that God has a principle. I dont care if you are in North america. There is a principle God as laid in the bible if one person in a relationship does not follow it. The marriage is over.

Take your external family out of your marriage. If your sister, mother , father , pastor and brother are now the people, who determine your life  is finished. Look your brother only care for his children, so is your sister. When they say kill one person. They would shoot your child and let thier only child live. This is wisdom. It is like a story of a witch, they say bring your husband let us eat today, why dont you ask them, why they have not brought thier own husband, so that you can eat him first.??

Look, if you give pastor adeboye a gun and in a boat one person need to live. Your child or pastor adeboye child. 1 second history is made. Why, the yorubas says ti eni te ni, te to te to.  Well I dont  know how to explain this in english. But its means what is your is your and what is others is others.

If you give an igboman the chance to kill an igboman or kill a yorubaman to save one. The igbo man would shoot down the yoruba man several times. Why? They igbos would call it "Nkem". That how life and marriage is. If you take your partner like your, it would work. If your put other thing above your partner like mother, sister, brother, pastor , church and others. Your marriage would never work.

I say it again. The igbos call it   " Nkem"
grin grin grin cheesy cheesy

Oh ok . . . .but i think it is sad.
Parents shd do enuf to make sure they have enuf for their old age.
sadly in many parts of the world it is not nearly as possible as it may sound.

A fully established pregnancy cannot be aborted by 'hot' sex as you call it.
A  p e n i s cannot physically enter the (uterus)womb where the embryo is.
The embryo itself is protected and developing withing a bag of amniotic fluid, gestation sac.
Even during intercourse, a man's s p e r m will have to swim all the way from the v a g i n a through the cervix into the womb in order to reach an egg that is coming from the ovary through the fallopian tube.

Your friend's pregnancy was aborted but not through sex. She didn't use him, he used her!
i agree. its either she aborted the baby before the supposedly hot sex or she wasnt pregnant before. you cant just abort a baby with a hot sex.
FamilyRe: What Are The Roles Of Parents In Their Child Marriage? by Sissy3(f): 3:35am On Dec 31, 2009
Fhemmmy:
Beautiful, thus my question, how do  a woman know that she is ready for marriage . . . . men are just one bigger beast with too much wahala, and woman needs to learn how to deal with them without breaking the fragile kid in them as well.
ahhh, Fhemmmy thats a good and serious question oo, because the age of maturity varies greatly among individuals especially in women. there is no measure of such especially when it comes to a lifetime commitment like marriage. a woman might be ready at 18, and another at 30, it all depends on individual growth, awareness and choice

however, in this day and time, one may claim that a woman should have her degree and be financially independent before marriage, but then not everyone would be able to achieve such and it doesnt mean they arent mature/ready for marriage.

personally for me, i think she is ready when she knows the kind of journey marriage entails. when shes emotionally and spiritually ready to make that commitment and ready to face responsibility. when she is ready to sacrifice, communicate, know to resolve most conflicts amicably, learn, listen, respect, and grow and when you have similar goals and aspirations with your spouse etc.  not neglecting other important aspects too.

FamilyRe: Who Is Really The Pillar Of The Family? by Sissy3(f): 2:47am On Dec 31, 2009
Fhemmmy:
So what would happen, if the woman is weak, does that means the pillar will crumble?
It cld be any of the 2 jare.
you are right it could any of them. but, speaking in the normal family scene, the woman is usually the pillar and the man the head.

What reasons will make you support someone seeking for divorce?
those you listed is even more sound than hairstyle. common now. unless hairstyle is one of the smaller reasons he included, in other words its not the only and first reason for divorce. whats next? divorce someone because the person doesnt wear nice clothes?
HealthRe: Is There Cure To Hiv? by Sissy3(mod): 2:34am On Dec 31, 2009
there is no cure as of yet, but there is hope. the only help you can offer her now, is to get her on Antiretroviral drugs as early as possible. make sure she's consistent with it. eat healthy, fresh fruits and vegetables, exercise and keep the stress down. stress brings down your immune system down which in-turn affects her ability to fight the diseases. and finally, tell her to be hopeful, HIV is not a death sentence. it is very manageable.
FamilyRe: Hubby Vows To Divorce Wife Over Hair Style by Sissy3(f): 2:24am On Dec 31, 2009
@ Aloy

no matter how you try to phrase, paraphrase, re-phrase and summary the question, hairstyle is still a very ridiculous reason to divorce someone over.
FamilyRe: Hubby Vows To Divorce Wife Over Hair Style by Sissy3(f): 11:15pm On Dec 30, 2009
seriously i hope the judge throws this case out. it makes no sense. you have to have something more tangible than this in-order to even file for divorce

Fhemmmy:
I think the judge that is getting paid to listen to this kinda rant nonsense is not serious too

FamilyRe: What Are The Roles Of Parents In Their Child Marriage? by Sissy3(f): 10:54pm On Dec 30, 2009
sometimes many young couples are so much "in-love" with each that they fail to look in their rear view mirror and i believe its the job and responsibility of parents to advice them, guide them and direct them especially when it comes to marriage. marriage, i believe is a journey, and in that journey one will encounter many storms and waves, the parents are there direct/advice them, tell them what marriage is and not. every marriage needs support to grow and last

even after marriage, i believe they still have a role to play as an outside advisors, however, there should be boundaries as how far they can come. . .  . meaning not everything that happens between a couple should they be aware of. inasmuch, they should be there, couples should learn to manage their conflicts and martial issues without a phone call to mommy or daddy.

FamilyRe: Why Do People Have Children by Sissy3(f): 4:02am On Dec 30, 2009
Fhemmmy:
Pls explain
one reason is this:

children are seen as an economic asset and not a liability.  in most parts of the world children  serve as a major economic support in their parent's old age. for example, rural villagers lack the necessary pension plans that would support them in the old age, As it is in Nigeria for example. Nigeria government don't have any pensions plans for the elderly as it is with the most countries for example the American Social Security benefits or other similar benefits developed countries provide for their retired and elderly citizens. for many parents their children is their hope in their old age in terms of economic well-being.

and also many parents use their children to better their economic status by having them work in the farm, and doing other works, which helps the parents and saves them money they would otherwise pay others to have the work done. and also, many government incentivize couples with children.
