Sagamite: Will they both have to make sure their lawyers are present so that the lawyers can analyse the contract as genuine, valid and well written? grin grin grin grin grin grin

When you meet a girl and it seems action will take place tonight, ........call your lawyer first. grin grin grin grin

A purely daft law!

I can't stand fcktards. This is what we get when fcktards are allowed into the decision-making or policy-setting process.
UK legislators will never pass this kind of law, that is US for you, the only state you can make millions if the coffee you bought was too hot

And this law screams political pressure
Foreign AffairsRe: ‘yes Means Yes” The New Sex Law Of California by Sixix: 8:26pm On Sep 03, 2014
Sagamite: How can it be in the best interest of men?

By women having the liberty to create false accusations at their whim?

And if California is like the moronic sexist UK, she can make her false accusation with complete anonymity while his name is plastered in the papers and on the internet for eternity?

Consent would be clear cut for who?
Well, In law you can't just accuse someone, your accusations have to fulfil the conditions laid down by law. The law stipulates that she has to be 'affirmative, conscious, and voluntarily agree' . Before the court would agree with the defendant she has to be able to CONVINCE (beyond reasonable doubt) the court that she did not give consent as per the definition in the statutes and its legal interpretation, note that every tiny bit of info leading to the issue in dispute would be analysed.

The interpretation the writer gave the definition may (in my opinion 'will') not be used. Law can be interpreted in various ways. For instance the brief explanation of what would not count as affirmation and voluntary agreement did not include affirmation by positive reaction, it however stated that ' silence or a lack of resistance ' should not be counted as affirmation or voluntary agreement. The rest is left for the Judges to interpret as they deem fit.

The law has always been a double edged sword, welcome to life cheesy

That is why we have the court. Learned men are trained to detect inconsistencies statements.
Foreign AffairsRe: ‘yes Means Yes” The New Sex Law Of California by Sixix: 7:49pm On Sep 03, 2014
Sagamite: What a purely moronic law.

Another of the sexist policies and laws Western society create to discriminate against men.

So before someone has sex with a woman in the 21st century, you will have to ask her to say "Yes, I want to have sex"? Or better still sign a contract?

If she is silent but spreads her legs wider than River Nile, a guy can be arrested for non-consexual intimacy?

Daft, cretinous fcktards!
Yes it is sexist but it is in the best interest of the male folks.

1. Less sexual assault cases (men are mostly the culprits) = reduction in malicious claims
2. And it will make the issue of consent clear cut for men who are wired to believe that a woman's no is in fact yes = In this case yes will mean yes and no will mean no, simple as ABC.

Keneking: 1. Mistakes human make in life , the guy is not ready and you are forcing him.
2. There is supposed to be a relationship before marriage. That is given. Whether fours years or eight years, it is immaterial.
3. The man is sincere based on this story.
4. A typical African would want to be pregnant thereby forcing the guy to embark on a sojourn he was not prepared for.
Are you serious?

A responsible person should know whether they can and would marry the person with whom they are into a relationship WITHIN a month and before going to a relationship both parties must table out what they want and the aims for going into that relationship. If they fail to do so, they are solely responsible for whatever happens afterwards.

As for me, I intend to follow all the Yoruba pre-marriage stages to the letter. I don't play games undecided

Jobs/VacanciesRe: The Over-hyping Of First Class Honours In Nigeria by Sixix:
caseless: Like i was told in the university; 1st class students are meant for the classrooms/lecture halls. 1st class students are products of too much theory/cramming and zero-practical system we've all gone through and, u are fortunate to have taken advantage of the system and made a 1stclass; can't be self-reliant or self-employed with respect to their field of study as it is the case with most Nigerian graduates.
Op, i'l advice u to apply for a lecturing job in ur 'alma mata'...they will appreciate u more.
Good luck!
Exam is a practical tool that is meant to evaluate student's knowledge, application of this knowledge in an exam has a lot to do with ANALYSIS. People who think they should have passed or had a first, did not because they failed to answer analytically. The school expects you to ruminate over what you have read, look at it from every angle before putting it down in writing. Therefore most First class students do not just cram, they put in extra effort than those with lower grades

RomanceRe: What Do You Say When A Lady Tell U "Go Straight To The Point" Guys by Sixix: 5:00pm On Sep 01, 2014
Sagamite: Then beat about the bush.

Yep! That is what you do.

Never take what girls say seriously. Most of the time, it is an indirect, sub-conscious test. They want to see if you are a lapdog and if you fail the test, you get sacked.

Do the opposite of what they are telling you, and you will have them hooked and intrigued.

If she says "Go straight to the point", then jovially "Beat about the bush" teasing her for a while. Show her she does not dictate or tell you what you should do.

It might sound crazy and illogical, but it is the illogical that normally works with girls.

The younger the girl, the better the opposite reaction to her request works.

If you don't believe me, do a quick reminiscent analysis:

1) Look at your past and analyse the outcome of the times you have ever done what a girl wants you to do or you think she would want (that is, your typical logical approach to trying to woo or please a woman).

What was the outcome? Where you not sacked in the end? If you were not sacked, did you not work harder than you should?

2) Now look at the response of most guys on this thread.

Are they not taking the logical approach? Does that not give you a hint of why only a few select guys tend to pull all the women while most blokes are jonesers till the girls become pass their peak and then offer them the remnants to marry?

Some guys spend a major part of their lives chasing and working hard to get girls, while the same girls are working hard and chasing a guy.

Lesson: Do what majority of guys would not do and you will pull more.

Onegai: I've been doing this thing, where I pour some coconut or olive oil on my hair the night before wash day (you kinda have to sleep with a shower cap on, so as not to stain your pillows). My curls are looking more defined and my hair feels softer, but I'm shedding or breaking like mad. It could be the Dudu Osun, I've heard it breaks hair. This is my 3rd time using it, so will maybe give it a rest.
Dudu Osun contains sulphate and it is also very drying.

It makes no difference, the results are the same. The most important thing is a good hair regimen. You can't retain length on relaxed or natural hair if you lack a good hair regimen.

That is not my hair, I got it from a website, http://www.rehairducation.com/

This is her hair regimen

I relax my hair every 20 weeks. After relaxing my hair, I wear it out for about 8 weeks. During those weeks I follow the hair regimen below.

Shampoo 1x a week ( wash hair in 10 calabar braids)

Deep condition with heat for 30minutes 1x a week (moisture and protein mixed together for every week)

Use leave in conditioners 1x a week after deep conditioning

Air dry after every wash

Moisturise and seal daily

Wear protective styles 90% of the time

Sleep with hair covered with a satin scarf every night

Comb on my wash days only which is once a week. Rather than combing daily, I use my fingers to detangle and remove knots 3/4 times a week
And her Relaxer schedule

I relax my hair every 4 to 5 months, twice or three times a year max.

I self relax at home ( mum or my sister help me with the back)

I don’t relax my hair bone straight – I deliberately under process my hair ( this is called texlaxing)

Triczchic: HOT oil Treatment..... how HOT is the oil biko?
1.Choose an oil or a combination of oils of your choice. Try using a mixture of olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, and almond oil. You can use all of the oils or pick one or two to use for your hot oil treatment. All of the oils above will moisturize your hair and hydrate the scalp. Coconut oil hardens when it is cool.

2. Keep your hair warm or at least at room temperature while coconut oil is in your hair. Make about a cup of your own hot oil mix. You need enough of the oil to cover your hair, from root to tip, so it may be necessary to use less than a cup or make a little more depending on the length and thickness of your hair.

3. Heat the oils in a small saucepan until the mixture is warm to the touch. The oil is going on your hair and scalp, so make sure that it is lukewarm. Although microwaving is faster, it is not recommended because the oil may get too hot. Microwaving may also negatively impact some of the nutrients in the oils. Again, if the oil is over heated, let it sit for a few minutes to cool.

4. Apply the oil to the hair. It is best to use a small squeeze bottle, the kind that is used to color hair.
Massage the product throughout your hair, making sure that all of your hair is covered with the oil. The hair does not have to be overly greasy, just slightly oily. Do not rub the hair too harshly, as this can cause tangles and breakage.

5. Once the hair is covered, put on a shower cap. If you have a bonnet-style hair dryer at home, you can sit under the dryer. If you don't have that type of dryer, you can wrap a towel around your head to keep the heat in.

6. Let the oil penetrate through your hair for about 15 minutes. For a relaxing hot oil treatment, take a warm bath while the oil penetrates in hair.
Next, rinse the oil. Dry your hair and style it as normal.

My hair (pulled long like in the pics) is only 5-6 inches though.

Do any of you ladies trim split ends?
I don't think I have ever had split ends

I think that works too, cos before I started the above regimen I did not use leave in conditioners, sulphate or fsilicones free hair product but I followed the LOC rule and I noticed improvement with my hair texture.

The problem I have is dry roots but moisturised ends undecided . According to a couple of hair websites , it could be as a result of different hair types

I hope this is not another women bashing thread that you created?

@ pDude and others, is it any wonder some women have low self-esteem when you young men cannot discuss issues without using derogetory language? Is this how you relate to women face to face?

Back to topic. I don't have a problem with occasional artificial hair but I don't like the fact that they are everywhere. Having said that the vast majority of women wear them more for convenience ( not having to manage hair daily/weekly), because of other commitments and not because of low self-esteem.
