How about the families of dead soldiers,
have you tried checking how most of them live in squalor. And in your stupidity you want to create more widows and orphans out of military families.

and who's suffering the most in the north-east chaos right now? isn't it the people? you have no sense. when you see your mother and father homeless, sleeping in IDP camps, then come back and tell us how great things are going for ya. slowpoke

Illumined939:
Okay oo. They said Bokoharam would do nothing after Mohammed Yusuf was killed. But before Sallah, you were panicking about running to Maiduguri and even submitted a request to leave the deep field, so your mummy wouldn't lose a son.
It's always he won't do shit, till soldiers and Esn operatives start dropping. Then you realize shit is real.
PS: Hope you know the iswap guys are strategizing and recruiting underground?I don't know how panicky you would be this time, when they are done strategizing and attacking bigtime.
My point is, do not underestimate a psychopath. And Kanu is one.

of course it's not automatic. my ealier opinion was that before it get to the judiciary level, political officials might be involved, especially where it concerns someone accused of a crime against another sovereign state.
i saw the fight MacCaffee or whatever his name is put up, so i get the judicial part.
anyways, thx for taking the timesmiley

What can i say we have been fighting extradition cases for long in UK lol

Best visit this

https://www.cps.gov.uk/legal-guidance/extradition

Everything explained beyond doubt

A specific quote

"Once arrested, the requested person must be brought to Westminster Magistrates’ Court, where all extradition proceedings in England & Wales are conducted. There are proceedings in all cases; extradition is not “automatic”, even under the EAW."

Illumined939:
All of you here are celebrating the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, believing the government lies on his extradition through the help of interpol. Well, if you people had brains, a simple search on interpol's website will help you see the list of Wanted Nigerians, and Nnamdi Kanu is not on that list.
Furthermore, extradition is a very tedious process that requires court appearances, and the right of appeal before a fugitive is handed over to the country demanding their presence. But as lovers of tyranny, you all couldn't think critically, you just believed the government lies, as it feeds into your biases.

Kanu handed himself to the country, he had always promised to come back with hell. The Esn is a well structured organization, wherein Kanu plays no critical role in its armed operations. Everything has been delegated to lieutenants and field commanders he doesnt even know personally. Nigerians requested for Kanu to be on ground, rather than enjoying in the uk.. He is on ground now, and he brought hell with him.

Months from now, we will see. Esn guys will die, but your soldiers and politicians will die also. The hell is here.

was that my post you quoted? where's the rest? who made this man fear now lol.
its both political and judicial, i said political because it involves two govts for example, so if the judge sign off to extradite a suspect, and say the govt in the UK believes that suspect could be tortured or killed, are you saying the leadership won't stop it? who initiate extraditions etc, isn't it the govts? so what if they don't refer the case to the judiciary, judges dont get to make decisions if someone should be prosecuted or not, cases are referred to them, and if a case is politically too hot, then what happens.
politics play a big role in this.
so i think political considerations come into play in situations like this
just having a convo with ya, no arguments, but be free to tell share your opinion on what i wrote

dude, we are talking insurgency here lol. ghana will suffer if that was to take root, that's why i said they must never allow it to. what you have in your military arsenal won't be enough to end it smiley.
shoot, do you have any idea how much Nigeria spend daily fighting insurgency? Ghana will afford it how? easier said than done. Russia tried and failed in Afghanistan, US and all its so called western allied tried and failed, i bet if the northeast was a foreign territory naija would have packed up too lol, but sadly we can't quit.

PetroDolla2020:
where did you get that crap from? Ghana has not invested in her military in the last 35 years? are you serious?
well, for your information, Ghana has invested massively in her military in the last 10 years. I am telling you as an insider cool You depend on the internet for your information, right? You need to upgrade grin

Same military that has rescued countless civilians out of arms way and even air lifted some? you get bad belle oga.
so if there's no difference, this war would have been over then right? they wouldn't be cautious about dropping bombs on terrorists hiding among civilians or care about rescuing them. We've lost soldiers doing this, and here you are tarnishing them.

DubaiLandLord:
If you believe the word in bold about the Nigerian military, then you're lying to yourself.

Nigerian military no dey sabi the difference between armed civilians and unarmed ones.

People were forced to create CTF after the Nigerian army dey burn towns down and killing armless civilians after Boko Haram kill an army personnel in Borno. Odi too dey there .

has he renounced his Nigerian citizenship? UK for where. who are they gonna ask. He is a nigerian first and foremost.
And as for his arrest and extradition, its a political matter, no way UK police alone will make the decision to send him to Nigeria, elected political leaders would be the ones to decide if they should hand him over, cops are simply the tools used
DubaiLandLord:
After he disappear, wetin the Nigerian government go tell the UK when they asked for the whereabout of their citizen?
Foreign Affairs / Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by sizzorchan: 4:44pm On Jun 29, 2021
lol. careful what you wish for. it's not about them marching into Ghana, such conflict often spread from remote border areas, as they are pushed out from their home base, they will have no choice but to find a new one by the border. same way ours spilled into our neighbors territories . idea is to never all them to settle there, if they do, then it becomes Ghana's fight, bcoz ur troops will attack, terrorists will retaliate against your troops or civilians and downhill it goes. ghana is a peaceful country, i hope it stays that way

PetroDolla2020:
Una too dey fear joor cool Let the terrorists come now. The Ghana boys scout will finish them. We won’t even deploy troops. grin are you aware there are troops deployed along the border with Burkina Faso? cool

I won’t even lose any sleep over the so-called terrorists. Let them come

also America's officials(politicians) has often been reluctant to publicly label these groups as terror groups, it puts a dent on America's image, now journalists are questioning officials why they just won't call these groups what they are. As you know, in the West they leave negative labels for others lol, they don't want that for themselves. Those in the security agencies are not shy to call them what they are though, but the political leaders are the ones who can make it official

MUTERIKA:
NOW that's what DLD isn't understanding. BUT i know he just wants what is best for NIGERIA

lol, terrosits are alive and well in the USA. extremist groups are here and heavily armed. difference is, in the US, those who support certain extremist ideology carry out lone wolf attacks, without the entire group being involved. And since its in the constitution for people to have right to bear arms, these guys openly display their weapons, and that ain't illegal until it's used in committing a crime. Of course such groups are under constant surveillance

MUTERIKA:
SERIOUSLY? When you compare US experience in IRAQ/AFGHANISTAN to NIGERIA's experience in-country while saying terrorism will not last a day in US. 9/11 was not imported you know. Bulk of it's planning probably took place on US soil. That US performed wonderfully well in another country where they can kill nearly every hadjis without consideration doesn't mean they would do same when faced with terrorism at home, where they factor in civilians, environment, development and all.

Aren't you comparing two different scenarios? This idiot dey london or whatever, he was arrested by interpol, shekau(before he died) didn't run go any western country now, or those leading ISWAP, easy to catch him over there than playing cat and mouse game with bh and others in the bushes lol. besides Kanu wasn't hiding i think, they knew where he was. i guess his thought was as long as he wasn't in Nigeria, he can keep fomenting trouble and he can't be arrested. He was obviously wrong.

What is happening here, Nnamdi KANU Arrested and brought back to Nigeria...So Nigeria get this kind means and Boko Haram Still they Exist? What a mystery!!!

yea if you learn from past mistakes and get creative. NA has shown unwillingness to do this. so i wonder what it is they've learnt. Doesn't seem like they are putting much of it to good use

Roan77:

There is difference between conventional warfare and asymmetric warfare.
What the US fought in Afghanistan is asymmetric warfare and that is the most difficult warfare you will ever have, and that's what Nigerian has been fighting since, it takes decades to end.
Nigerian military are trained for conventional warfare, so it will be easier for them to fight an invading enemy, not a hiding enemy.
US will crush any country in a conventional war.
What I mean about what we have learned in this Boko Haram war, is that it is helping in shaping Nigerian military to be an all round fighting force, I hope you get my points?

i think mistake Ethiopia made was not using adequate air power, this is critical. soften those guys up before sending ground troops.

Only incentive they should give such an ahole is to take the death penalty off the table if he can help in catching other miscreants in the business, once that's done, toss him in a hole and lose the key.
This idiot confessed to murdering our security operatives, we can't padi with these kind of people, they are criminals, prosecution is what's needed.

Whyem15:

See opportunities wasting. This guy will cooperate with a little incentive. Government should take the advice of gunmi, use those who are ready to repent to fight the others, turn them against each other and when they are significantly weakened, blow up those who refuses to surrender.
Even if they won't fight each other, use some of them to get intels in the position and operations of others and send the airforce after them.
