Now prop firm are now the issue boss. I didn't give trading any serious attention until I learnt about prop firm on this forum. The model looks appealing at first when everything was going smoothly and the prop making us feel like we are trading real money. Everything becomes uninteresting after Mff, TFT, and Co started to collapse.. The most recent happening with boss GabsonFX2 and InfinityForexFunds is really heartbreaking. I imagined if a slow trader like me has spent 6 months to pass phase one and another 6 month for phase 2 only for me to be denied payment when it's time for withdrawal...

Now I feel like rushing my challenge and either pass in time or fail in time so as to know wether payout will be denied or the prop will even shut down after wasting one's time and effort...

Now to wrap everything, you even said the real brokers too are not sending our orders to the direct market and they are always trading against us, So if one should fund a personal account with good funds too we are not save... Why is this business legal and at the same time very dirty

Valid concerns bro...but then, good traders are still cashing out on a steady...the key thing to me, is to perform due diligence when choosing a prop firm or broker, sticking with those with good reputation

Bro when you are seeking aid from a prospective benefactor, try as much as possible not to blackmail them emotionally, consciously or subconsciously...the bolded up there is a clear case of emotional blackmail, though you might not be aware of it sha...but then, just sell yourself using your strength, if the prospective benefactor deems you fit, he’ll definitely sponsor you....

You think so, but that's not the reality.

There is a pain point at which demand for many imported goods will fall fast. People will simply start buying less and less of them. Whether that pain point is at N1500, N1800, or N2000 to a dollar, I don't know.

But the CBN will have the data. They know. If N1500 doesn't stiffle imports to the level they want, I suspect the CBN will not mind seeing naira close to N2,000 to a dollar.

In some ways, it is to the credit of Mr Tinubu's administration that it is willing to follow this extremely tough path to redirect the economy from import-dependence to greater local production. For a politician facing election in just over 3 years to follow a path that may not show positive results for a few years, is truly brave.

The Nigerian economy was heading for the rocks after over 40 years of mismanagement. Tough decisions are needed to correct long term over dependence on imports.

That naira/dollar pain point is the point at which local production of certain goods starts becoming more viable than importing the same goods. This should translate to us producing more of what we need locally. This will lead to more job creation, less pressure on the naira, and a stronger, more balanced economy in the long term.

But this approach comes with a lot of economic pain initially, as the country is witnessing now.

That's the theory o.

Whether things happen in practice like I stated above is a different matter, because Nigeria's situation often defy economic theory.

The reason why Nigeria economy defy economic theories is because our leaders are always putting the cart before the horse...

We want to encourage local production, ok that’s fine, but have we (looking at Agric sector):

1) Secured Nigeria enough to allow local production to thrive? The farmers in the North for example, battling banditry and boko haram day in day out thus preventing them from going to their farms.

2) Curb corruption in areas of grants/govt credit facilities so that these facilities will get to “real farmers” and not some nepotistic approach by officials in charge, given out these facilities to their cronies and praise singers who end up not using the facilities for its said purpose.

3) Provided enough storage and processing facilities to curb wastage, enhance food security and add value to farm products
Etc ...

These and many more precursor events should happen before discouraging import for an import dependant nation

This is where you got it wrong. You were aware before purchasing it, so that shouldn't be excuse you give yourself to mask your failure. You're just indiscipline! You're going to trade a funded account the same way you trade the evaluation phases. Prop firms are out there to reward disciplined and patient traders.

Maybe you are better off trading a personal account. It's better you leave these prop firms, because you are just the opposite of what successful prop traders are. I'm not saying this to ridicule you, but instead to motivate you.

"Whatever you do, know thyself" or what mantra do I see people throwing around here all the time. Thyself is not good enough, and you know it yourself, but you still don't want to change for the better, you will have many years of experience with nothing to show for it.

For example, if I'm about entering a buy trade, and peter or Gabson are somewhere trying to sell from where I'm buying, I'd be stupid not to look at my chart again to see reason they are selling instead. These guys targets 500pips+, with a massive win% ratio, there's no way my SL won't hit for their trade to turn green.

This is not about pride, it's about knowing fx is probability and can go both ways, and accepting some people are just better than you are. I only want to also see from his angle why he thought it would be selling, after cross-checking and I'm fully convinced my buy has more probability of holding than his sell, then and only then I will leave the trade run, or just delete the order if otherwise and wait it out to see if I would have been right or wrong.

If one wants to be an independent trader in the long run, then the bolded (notion) above is a no no for me. Both traders you mentioned are excellent traders but their strategies differ from other traders strategises. A trader whose strategy has a good win rate %, don’t need to know what others are doing, all he/she knows is that his/her edge has appeared, pulls the trigger without hesitation or fear and wait for the outcome, be it TP or SL. Using Peteregwu for example, once he calls his trade, he stands by it even if Niel, Habby, Jeffrey, Info, Gabson or any other trade God comes to tell him otherwise, he politely thanks them but sticks to his gun because he has built a solid trust around his edge and knows he always comes out positive on aggregate, after series of trade.

Forget the fact that the game is kinda frustrating for most traders now, I believe things happen over time and not over night...building oneself to be an independent trader will bring favours in the Long run...

Done trading for the week. I have no business trading on Fridays anymore. Its not really a bad week here but just to slow. Less than 2 months to meet up with boss infofirst Situp or stay out competition and still on a 0.40 DD in a month and half. Meaning I have just one and half month to do 10.60% .....TBH Meeting up isn't certain anymore, but still not over till its over

I read the rules set on the Fxblue platform of the challenge and I understand it will automatically disqualify anyone with open positions above the stated 0.1 max...this helps with the tracking you talked about...

But pls help clarify the bolded in the quote for me...
What if a trade of 0.1 is going in my favour, can I take partials and re-enter after a retracement (though still maintaining 0.1 max, cummulative)? Does this amount to a violation of rule?
