that is why I don't trust these unknown state schools or newly established private ones, you need to shine your eyes well and make your live and online researches before you choose it.

by the way in saner societies, the guy would have sued the school for a big amount of money and he would have won..this Is a clean case..well he can still do that

Hello, Good day, I have just been made an executive in my department and would like to embark on creating an alumni forum whereby alumni could still be active in the issues of the department..
It is a nice idea but the problem is finding them, since my department does not have a present alumni association, or a organized platform for the past graduates or alumni of the department..
please what is the best way in finding the alumni of a department? How do we go about it? How do we get their numbers or contacts?

well we have all been guilty

1. The only objectives crew : the type of people that belongs to this category are secondary school leavers who just got out of secondary school, since they have been made to believe through school exams, waec and neco that questions that has theory are always hard, and objective questions are always simple, they apply this hypothesis to jamb, thinking it would be as easy as pie because it is only objectives,so therefore the ones that dont have mentors and advisers or the ones that refused to listen to corrections won't read or go to lesson but they will be surprised when they are faced with the hard complex questions and then they would know, that there are some objective questions that could make you wish for ten theory questions.

2. The expo (cheat) masters: these are the ones who looks for cheats instead of using their limited time to read, they browse through different websites to achieve their aim, they thought jamb is as penetrable and vulnerable as other examinational bodies, Admins of these false websites knows this and they play on their intelligence by telling them they have the answers to the jamb questions and would be released for a specified amount, but it turns out that the answers they would send are falsified and candidates who rely on this would fail drastically, when jamb was been written in paper and pencil type (ppt) some of these expos work but now that it is in Computer based test only (CBT), it is almost impossible to find correct cheats.

3. The Unserious ones : these are the ones who will neither read nor go to lesson..they are always busy whenever it comes to reading...busy doing nothing...they don't learn from their past experiences..instead of sitting right and being focused when they attend lessons, they assume the role of fashionistas gallivanting around, engaging in unwholesome activities , wooing the opposite sex etc
Funny enough some would say they are solving past questions but instead of using their brain and knowledge to get the answers, they check the back for answers and will think they are fooling the teachers, but indirectly they are "doing" themselves and the reality of their activities would dawn on them during the exam.


4. The followers: these ones can't decide by themselves, they choose their subjects combinations and course because their friends chose the same, not minding their weakest and strongest subjects, it is when they are writing the exam that they will find out that they are on their own.

5.The late comers ; these are the people that will come late on the D-day of the exam,lets say the exam is scheduled to start by 10:00am, these ones would come by 11:30 or later than that, mainly because they didn't know their centers,or some other reasons best known to them, they might not be allowed to participate in some centers but in some other centers the supervisors might be kind and allow
them to do the exam, but many candidates in that situation would be flustered and their minds in disarray that they might still be struggling with the first subject when the computer shuts down as a result of time up.

6. The ITKs ( I too knows) ; the people in this category might have read, did the right things, but their only problem is, they don't follow simple instructions, they rush to be the first to finish , so that they could boast about it, they don't read questions twice, they could misplace synonyms for antonyms or demand for supply etc.

So I have heard some pastors preach and a lot of people say that Methuselah the world's oldest man that ever lived was not really important, his life was not really useful just because the bible only recorded the years the poor man spent on earth and not his achievements and I am always like "what! you kidding me or what? you mean a man who was wise and smart enough to spend a nine hundred and sixty nine(969!) years on earth was not useful! you must be kidding!"

Let me analyze it clearer for you..going by 969 years, if Methuselah had died this year(2018), he would have been born in 1049 AD... gawd, he would have seen all the revolutions! experienced most of the things that is being taught in our history class,the battle of Hastings! bubonic plauge!American civil war!.many vampires even though they are myths don't even get to live that long, when he was 200 years old, I can bet a dollar that he was still as strong as a 30 year old man, ..we have a lot to learn from the lifestyle and years of Methuselah on earth..this post is not written to add to the bible ,or deduct from it (no sir!) but just speculations into Methuselah's lifestyle that could have made him live that long and what can we learn from them..check them out..

He lived a healthy lifestyle: although Methuselah was not a king, we can conclude that he didn't eat the best ,but he ate healthy foods that did well to his body and his immune system, he must have done some couple of exercises too(though funny, but yes) to keep fit and live that long..he wouldn't have smoked(if it was available then) and he wouldn't have been a lover of alcohol.so if you want a good shot at Methuselah's years on earth, you d better lived a healthy lifestyle..

He minded his business: Trust me, you can't live that long like if you don't mind your business, Methuselah must have been a gentle,easygoing man who paddled his own canoe, and went about minding his own business.. you want to be 969? mind your business!

He was careful: Methuselah must have been very careful in his decisions , to have lived that long, I an sure huldn't have been the man who arrived at hasty decisions.. he would have thought then through before going for one(he had a lotta time on his hands)..Don't make hasty decisions ..it reduces lifespan

He was a likeable person: Methuselah must have been a likeable person with nice characters to have lived that long, so people that lived then were not freaked out by his age, they live and let him live,if he had been a bad person with a lot of hate going for him, he wouldn't have lived that long..improve on your characters ..it might take you places or let me say ages..
