Internet fraudsters are people who engage in the activities of cheating, swindling and defrauding their victims online, internet fraudsters are multiplying everyday and we have to know how we can recognize them and avoid becoming their preys , these fraudsters can act in groups or as private individuals and their ways and mode of operation are categorized into four types The business like approach ; in this case the scammers can set up organizations and websites online to swindle unsuspecting people,and a fraudster could also use the various legal online sites e.g shopping sites we have to carry out his or her operations they display goods for sale and when the buyers made the payment, they ended up sending fake or no goods at all to the buyer, they make false business proposals to rich individuals or corporations to swindle them, most people who fall victim to this category are greedy ones who want to acquire everything cheap. 2. Love scams ; the fraudsters in this category are very active in social and dating sites e.g Facebook, eskimi etc, they feigned love and care to their victims, thereby working their ways into their victims , making false marriage plans ,to the point where the unsuspecting victims would be compelled and at ease to send the fraudsters money. 3 Acting as agents ; In this category, the fradusters attach themselves to legal companies, organizations , celebrities, governmental agencies etc and lie to the public that they are acting on behalf of these people,they create different phony accounts of celebrities and develop different schemes there to get money from the innocent fans and followers of the celebrities But today, i will be writing on how to idetinfy online business fraudsters, scammers that make use of the first category. How to recognize online business fraudsters 1, Their offers are always too good to be true ; when they display their goods on online shopping sites, their price is always low compared to the actual price of the product, they display cheap amazing offers that will make the victim thinks he/she would be gaining a lot , but in actual sense losing, after receiving the money, they would send fake products or no products at all, because of the bad reviews they will get, after defrauding many, they will close and delete the account. 2. They keep pestering you to do business with them : they check your profiles on your social accounts, check what your proffesion is , hook you up and offer you mouth watering deals and business proposals, if you refused , they will keep pestering you, trying to convince you that they are real and legit, they could even go to the extent of showing you fake evidences until the victims give in to their request 3. They only have "payment before delivery" options on their phony shopping sites There are many legitimate online shopping websites that has only this payment procedure, fraudsters are aware of this too and they set up sites displaying flashy and classy things for sale, after paying for the goods, the goods will never be sent and they give diifferent kinds of excuses as to why the goods hasnt been delivered, in some cases, they will even ask for more money, and after they had gained a lot from the shopping site, they will close it down and move on to another fraud tactics 4.They give private account numbers that might be different from their brand; most of the time, they give private account numbers that when you check the name up on social sites, the information there is always different from the one they are trying to dupe you with. 5.They have no history whatsoever ; when you try to check their history online,you won't find any information about them and their evidences don't add up. So what are the precautionary methods we can use to avoid getting duped online 1. Research well, check reviews and ask around before you purchase goods from online shopping sites 2. Create a topic on the business you intended to go into on online forums so that you can receive advise and get experiences from people that have gone through it. 3. You are offline for some minutes on whatsapp and you came online to see a lot of messages in the group, mostly filled with "jumble" and "quizzes" and you wonder what has gone wrong with the members of the group or who is the organizer of the quiz.. Touchscreens Presently in this stage of touchscreens smartphones ; android, tablet, Iphones, windows, tablets etc fall into this category, we have evoluted from no buttons to buttons and to no buttons again. These smartphones can carry out many functions and has a lot of capabilities. 6 Now we can design our phones . before this era, manufactured phones had undergone a lot of development, phones can now carry out many functions like internet, converter , radio etc and can now play different games .there were now many manufacturers competing with each other in the industry e.g Nokia, Motorola, Sony erricson, etc phone makers decided to explore various aspects of designing and reconstructing to attract consumers and have a upper hand in the market so they started making sliding phones , open and close phones etc mind you these type of phones are still are in vogue today. Bye bye to antennas Now do you notice any difference ? yes, there are no more antennas on the phones, the phone manufacturers had found a way to make the phone function well without the use of the antennas. the popular Nokia 3310 featured well in this era and was the first of its kind to have no antennas. 3 Likes 3 Shares

3. The giant antenna phones Hurray! What a huge turn in the phone manufacturing industry, now we can now take our phones from one place to another, we can place a call wherever we are, this is as a result of the advent of the big giant phones with pretty long antennas that looks like a walkie talkie, but this freedom and development came with a price, the phone weighs 'a ton' it was too heavy for the hand to hold always, so people suffered from hand pains and aches, till today this is a major disavantage of the phone . To everything, there is a history and a story attached, we will be looking at the history of telephones in Nigeria before we have our blackberries, Androids , tablets etc, .. i won't be starting from the days of Alexander graham bell when he created the telephone but I am going to start from a point where telephones have a more defining structure..from the 1930s when Nigeria started rocking telephones 1. The era of the desk set Do you still remember seeing this phone gathering dust on your grandfather's shelf or you saw it in a museum?, this is actually a DESK SET telephone rocked in the 1930s to the 1950s You would agree with me that those who rocked this phone are either old or dead,those days, you have to be rich before you can have one of this piece in your house, but after some time when newer editions came out, it became cheap and free for all,now this telephones are now antiques and you are lucky if you have this piece of art in your house. I am very sorry for the late update....please...I promise to start updating very well now.. Three. I parked my car in the parking lane of the hotel and gave the park attendant the key, "How are you sir? " he asked politely as he collected the key. I made it a point of duty to be familiar and generous with the work force in the hotel,because they are the eyes and ears of the hotel, I get my informations from their gossip, but they don't know the real me, they just think I am a curious guy who loves hearing new things. "Sir, she has not returned, since the ASUU strike ended last week tuesday, she is still preparing ,she will t go next week. " "Good, Give her this as a gift from me" I said and handed him some wads of notes. His eyes bulged and from his demeanor, I can sense he won't give her, but I don't care. "thank you sir , you are very generous" "Oh you are welcome " I said and made to leave. " Sir" he called and pointed to a shiny black sedan" you won't believe it , that car belongs to the commissioner of education in this state, he came in with two girls, who are young enough to be his daughters. " " wow, everybody wants to enjoy these days" I said and walked into the hotel lounge. I found my gang playing snookers in the game room. Let me introduce my gang members to you, we are only four in number and I am the leader and brain of the gang, you know about frank, so I will just move to the other two, Alex and Jack; Alex, is a big brawny muscled man , he spends his day in the gym and the game room, he is the iron man during our operations, a slap from him, just a slap would put the most troublesome man into order; very aggressive, easy to anger, he is single and familiar with girls,he lives in the hotel. Jack on the other hand is a slender guy, he has an innocent face, but I tell you he is a snake, he is deadlier than Alex, he is a misogynist and a sadist too, he hates women with passion , he dislikes many things, he is our spy, he is always present at locations and update us on the current situations before we carry out our operations, he also lives in the hotel. "Hey king" they all called as I entered the game room. "Hi you all, who is winning the game? " I said and moved to the snookers table "Who do you expect? Of course its me, I am whooping his ass. "Alex said. "You know I am not paying attention to this game, else I would have won. " Frank said. "Shut up man! You can't play it" interjected jack "You know I am a married man, so show me some respect. " Frank said and we all laughed except Jack of course. " guys I am actually here, to brief you on the operation tonight, so when you are through with the game, meet me at the Red room" I said. The Red Room is our operations room in the hotel, it is far away from other rooms , and off limits to the hotel customers, it is the only place where we can talk freely about operations without being heard or interrupted. " Oh ,ok, I am going there already" jack said and walked out of the game room. "Smith, did you know that Mandy just brought in new girls for customers tonight?"Alex reported. "Did she? I thought she brought in new girls last two weeks, isn't it too soon? I asked " I asked her too, but she told me customers are already tired of the old girls and want new ones, but the old girls are still on display though. "Frank replied. Apart from the legal running of the hotel, we offer a off the side brothel for rich men, and Mandy is the one in charge of that department,the business is bringing in large proceeds, so we don't complain but I will go see Mandy , I don't want this place crowded with hungry girls. "When you are through with the game,you guys should join Jack at the Red Room, I will go talk to Mandy. " I walked out of the room having said this. it is taking shape, don't miss the next chapter |

Teenagers worry about a lot of things as they progress into the maturity stage, their worries and problems can be linked to the environment they found themselves . But in this article, I will be writing on the four common worries every teenager from the ages of 13 - 19 in all walks of life can relate with.. And I will be listing it in their order of importance in the teen's heart..mind you this list is based on personal researches and observations, your own views might be different, don't hesistate to add yours by using the comment box.. 1. Boyfriend/ girlfriend ; This is the first important issue a teen worries about. The teen start getting attracted to the opposite sex, and would want to start a relationship with him/her, this is where wooing comes to place A teen could also be induced by peer pressure to get a boyfriend or girlfriend, when his /her friends are boasting and showing off their partners. 2 . Looks : after getting attracted to the opposite sex, teenagers worry about their looks, their physique and physical appearance, the lucky ones who got boyfriends and girlfriends would want to improve their looks so that they could be a match for their partners while the ones who didn't would attribute the failure to their looks and would try to improve it too..this is a stage where a guy or girl is aware of his/her good looks and would want to use it to his/her advantage. Girls worry about their maturity stage and the physical attributes that comes with it.. 3. Money: teenagers want to improve their looks with good creams, gyms and nice clothes, they found out these good things of life cost money and their next line of worry is money, apart from improving their looks with money, they also need cash to keep their boyfriends and girlfriends , go out on shopping sprees etc, this worry and feeling is great especially when there is a rich kid in school who shows off his parent's wealth, a club where only rich and famous students are members , a party where only the wealthy and important students are allowed in etc. Teenagers would request for more pocket money from their parents, some would opt for having their own private bank accounts While some teenagers who have no rich parents or relations would go to the extra mile of working during summer holidays ,so that they can save up and spend during school days. 4.Grades : since success has many friends and the common way success is measured in schools is through grades and scores of students, teenagers worry about the scores and grades they get in school, they want to be the best in their department so that they can be duly recognized and reckoned with in the school, they also found out good grades is an encouragement for parents and wards to give out more money so they sought after it.. Have you ever seen a white cockroach before ? I don't mean those small tiny ones, I am talking about an adult big white cockroach, what was your reaction when you saw one? , Well I saw a white cockroach recently in my bathroom and I wont lie to you. I was surprised, I tried to bring it down but before I could find what i can use for that purpose; it disappeared; not literally, but I was surprised at how it could have ran away in that few seconds, I was curious so I decided to research on it . What are the fallacy that are attached to white coackroaches? 1. They are ablino cockroaches 2. Some thought it is a good omen that something nice would happen 3. Others thought it is a visit from the people in their village White cockroaches over the years has been attributed to albinism by some people,as we have among humans but the fact is that various science tests had found no trace of albinism in these white cockroaches and the idea was debunked, but what causes white cockroaches? Why do we have them? This is the best answer The real cause of a cockroach’s white appearance is that when roaches molt, they don’t only shed their outer shell, they also lose most of the pigmentation (coloration) in their bodies, which must then be replaced. This is a chemical reaction that occurs within the body, usually taking a few hours to fully restore pigmentation..so obviously the big cockroach I saw was in its molting stage and if I had captured it and wait a little longer, it would have turned brown, or maybe it did! Remember I said I was surprised it ran away in that few seconds? Maybe if I had looked well and pay heed to a brown cockroach hiding in the corner, maybe I would have found It.. But why don't we see white cockroaches often? when cockroaches are in the process of molting, they go into hiding till the process has been restored! why.? Because they are highly vulnerable to dry up and predators after molting, since the new shell is not rigid enough for the muscles to provide much movement at this point, making it hard to run and hide when predators are chasing them. So white cockroaches after some hours after molting now sport a new brown suit of armor, ready to go find food, water and shelter. Just like initiation into adulthood. So why did I see a white cockroach that day? Why would you see it? Maybe I disturbed or something had disturbed the hiding place of the cockroach which propelled it to run outside, if you don't disturb them, you won't see them. Now I hope you have learnt a new thing today, when you see a white cockroach, I am sure you won't freak out now..ciao. We have all seen and heard about the headies next rated saga which had caused a beef between donjazzy and Olamide, automatically causing a rift between Mavin's dynasty and ybln crew, this had been trending on twitter, instagram , Facebook, nairaland etc we might have not have seen the end of this drama yet because don jazzy had not replied and maybe will decide to snub Olamide and never reply..some people and even celebrities are choosing sides and blaming the two bosses, but that is not the purpose of this article, we are here to know why lil kesh didn't win, why reekado banks won,do you know that there are signs reekado banks had won even before it was announced at the event? Do we even know the criteria the headies used in choosing the next rated? Where is korede bello? THESE ARE SOME REASONS WHY LIL KESH DIDN'T WIN 1. His lyrical content ; lil kesh is a good rapper, you can't be in a party and hear his song without dancing to it... The beats are temptating and captivating but it would be dishonesty on our part if we say his lyrical content is all that good, most of the lyrics he uses are dirty, and one tracked, love, sex etc these are in contrast to reekado's diverse soft lyrical content. 2. the type of fans he have ; if you go out into the street and ask people who they like and prefer between lil kesh and korede bello, six (6) would go for lil kesh and four (4) would go for reekado banks , because of his street lyrics, lil kesh and Olamide ( king of mainland) controls the streets where they have their fans, meanwhile reekado still has a touch or hold on the elite part of the society. Now who are the street? The street is mostly made up of ghetto boys and girls , some of lil kesh die hard fans don't even know about the headies not to talk of voting for lil kesh, you might be surprised and oppose this point due to the 1000+ retweets and favorites you have been seeing on lil kesh 's tweet lately but you will agree with me this headies fuss had made him more popular and he is also benefitting from olamide's fan base. The elites are the not rich , not poor people coupled with the rich ones, the elites are the one that looks for good beats and good lyrical contents. Most importantly the elites are the ones active on social medias; twitter, nairaland. Instagram, Facebook etc, and the elites are the ones who voted. Reekado won because of this and also because of don jazzy's nice guy approach and hold on the elites( I hope you get this) 3. Lil kesh had been bragging that he is the next rated before the headies event; some people decided not to vote for lil kesh because of this behaviour, out of all the next rated nominees, lil kesh was the only one bragging that he had already won ,indirectly terming others as incompetent. This even came out in hip TV news , and reekado was asked to comment on the issue , people would have expected reekado banks to flare up and antagonize him but his comment was surprising and full of sportsmanship..he said "Yes he is the next rated, yes he is" The journalist was surprised and she told him "but you are nominated too" He replied her" yes but lil kesh is my guy, I like him..so he is the next rated" I didn't vote but because I watched this news, you know who would have gotten my vote. WHY REEKADO BANKS WON Believe it or not, another major reason why reekado won was because he was pitied ,many people actually thought don jazzy is pushing reekado banks to the backstage and edging korede bello to the limelight, you would agree with me, korede was trending in the news throughout the last months of 2015, he was even made youth ambassador or something of the sort by the inspector general of police,so people actually thought they would be helping reekado's career by voting for him..believe it. Police is our friend at least that is what they say, but we have come to question this statement now and often due to the nefarious and unwholesome activities of some bad eggs in the police force, these are some good tips for you to make sure you don't encounter or be a victim of these bad activities 1. Never run away from a policeman : Never run from a Nigerian policeman, whether you are innocent or guilty or you are automatically signing your death warrant, in many European countries, their police force are equipped with tasers and stun guns to use on running criminals or offenders, but the case is not so in Nigeria, where the policemen only have loaded guns with no safety catch,. some policemen are too lazy to chase criminals, they just let the velocity of their bullets do the running business. 2. Give them their dues : whenever you meet police men at checkpoints , and they ask you for money whether legally or illegally. Please give them, don't try to be the know it all or try to be one who is current in law matters, this might sound stupid but remember you are doing this for your life and the passengers you have in your care, we have heard and seen cases of drivers refusing to give policemen their dues and their passengers suffered dearly for it. 3. Don't joke or argue with a drunk policeman ; whenever you are at a bar and you see drunk policemen with guns. It is better for you to leave the bar club or joint discreetly ,but if you must stay, avoid the policemen like fleas and don't draw too much attention to yourself, drunk policemen are just like time bombs waiting to explode. Don't joke with them, because in their drunken state, they might not able to get the meaning of your jokes well , a drunk civilian can cause havoc not to talk of a drunk policeman with a loaded gun. 4. Watch the signs ; whenever you find yourself around a policeman with a gun whether drunken or sober, always watch for any hostility signs in them , especially when a policeman start talking about killing.e.g I feel like killing somebody today, I will shoot you, if you try me, I will show you pepper etc.. Don't wait to see if the policeman is actually bluffing, take to your heels . 5. Be cautious or avoid areas where a policeman had recently been injured or beaten : when you hear or you actually see a policeman being beaten in an area, please avoid going to the area for some time, because the policemen will come for their revenge and they either they do it directly or indirectly.. Directly ( by shooting at or battering some marked men at the area) indirectly ( by arresting the residents of the area and charging them with numerous framed offences) 6. Avoid confrontations with policemen during protest : avoid daring confrontations with policemen during protests whether peaceful or not, even if you are doing it for a just cause, don't throw stones, pure water etc at them, even if you are in the company of your friends , in a crowd or public gathering, remember a bullet has no person's name on it , in a crowd...it could hit you , or anybody close to you.
