The problem is, the population of Nigeria is growing. Land is running out for free range grazing and even for farming. As a result, it is becoming difficult for fulanis to find place to graze cow. So...crisis between them and the farmers break out....and the mess we have results.

The issue is people like FFK, Obasanjo and even Buhari are using the matter for political purposes, both in the past and in the present. Even on Nairaland, all we see here is tribal fighting...when the real problem is poor land management, and lack of desire to modernise.

The time has come for an end to open air grazing, and an end to shifting cultivation, and better land management practice.The fulanis, Nigerian farmer, government....everyone needs to change. Not APC chanji...change. Fix the railways, so that we can transport cows via rail.

IT is my state and I have been there over 30 times. Had my birthday there once too.

Bros, the fact that you grew up in Ado-Ekiti does not give you an insight on how the state is being piloted. Fayemi puts in place a sound partnership with UAC and some others. Monies were duly remitted and not just that, job was created for many people(Gossy water gets as far as abuja) and also the economy of Ikogosi was so good because of the patronage. I had my Secondary and tertiary education in Ekiti State.

Note:There are lots of people from Ekiti who knows better than you but wont talk. Don't sound as if you Know more.

I grew up in ado ekiti, and I know a lot about there, than most of you on nairaland.

Same way a man in my office asked me to borrow him money just for 2 days, I told him no wahala that he I am adding another day to it. He took it on the 21st of November to payback on the 24th of November, 2017. Till today I have not received my money. He has given birth to another child, did a lavishly naming ceremony, moved from his previous apartment to another where he paid 700k. But he has refused to pay my 140k for over 16 months now. I just wrote it off has bad debt last month and would never ask him again. But I so much believe in that beautiful "lady" called karma.

Are you aware that his state(Kwara) is not and has never paid the 18k minimum wage?
