If it is true, this man "The Governor" is a great guy, even in the depth of corruption during the GEJ government where troops were starved of equipments to fight, then man stood fast with this people and further buttressed by the interview with CNN. The man is a man and he's not boasting!!!! Make God bless the man and give him long life biko!! |
Rivers people don enter one chance eeeeee! |
Wow! Tapa street? there will be massive grid lock downtown Eko be that. When will all these madness stop? Most of these tanker are not even road worthy. nna na wa o! |

Holler if you need more guidance and keep your head up. |

The Picture is photoshopped!!! the head is not right. |
godsveryown:Having a 3rd class is not the end of the world and she should not be sad about it. I had a 3rd class and by God's grace i am doing very well, infact most people with 3rd class usually excel more than others in the long run. What i will advice is she should go for a PGD or Masters immediately but it should be another course of study that will compliment the 1st degree. I went for straight masters in Unilag, i sat for the pre-admission exam passed very well and was admitted for the course i wanted. Doing this will give her a better chance of getting a job and also adding more value to herself. Even, most 2.1 or 2.2 candidates can barely speak good english in interviews so her case is not the worst. |
Cutehector:Off course there is, cause how the hell do you justify all these cars and houses they are buying? Asides from a few that are endorsed by telecoms? |
All you Arrow nairalanders...so because she "assisted" with getting the guy a job he must marry her. 11 years is a long time to date someone, if she could not marry him while he was broke a la true love, what makes her think it will happen when he's had the job? My take on this is that she should have looked beyond the fact that she assisted in getting the job, helping someone get a fat job does not guarantee finding happiness in its pursuit. It may just be the role God had assigned to you as at that moment. |
Interestingly this OP is right. I've had the opportunity of meeting East, South African ladies and their level of engagement is something to crave for be it on the social media or offline. They converse in proper English not all this kk, fine n u things naija chics use. They need to learn the art of conversation which is a very powerful tool in the hands of those who know how to use it. |
Weather the storm for like 3-6 months, save within these periods that can take you for another 3-6 months without a job, pull out and do what engineers are meant to do. In between the storm, grab all knowledge pertaining to Administration because it will definitley come in handy. You should be fine. |
Kimse Okoko is GEJ's kinsman. What do you expect from him (them)!!! ![]() |
Some people fail to realise that we are living in a capitalist system and all these noise about poor people being homeless will not work. |
UJAH UJAH UJAH UJAH!!!! that guy ehn! |
I also personally had a nasty experience while i visited Nairobi....i was holidaying there when i visited the masai mara and was interested in buying some stuffs to come sell here in lagos. This "so called" christian lady that i met through my cousin assisted to help and everything seemed nice and ok, fast-forward back to lagos, i sent money to this lady to buy the goods with extra money fa for her own running around. low and behold, she took off with the money and has been in hiding ever since. What this man is saying may be true as i also met some good nigerians there married to kenyan ladies and making some good business. This however will never kill the Nigerian spirit of enterprise as what goes around comes around. They will soon get it in that country and it's shere laziness, greed and wickedness that is order of the day there. Anuofia all of them, kwanu!! |
Well, the woman was actually given a choice to end the marriage....if she had real conviction that her husband was actually having this affair, she could have called it quit and the man can come running back to her for forgiveness if we eventually find that it is true. What i will not tolerate if for you to start telling any tom, dick and family member about our issues. That is for you and i to settle not them. We should first remove the dirt in our iwn eye before trying to remove for others. |
Who gives a hoot if he killed his colleagues donkey years ago....so many of this guys have done worse for the wrong reasons, all we need is someone to get it right.....Ghana under Rawlings did it. Abeg OP free us with this your yarns!! |

Hi guys, not to sound like a JJC i got interested in the thread as i plan to visit SA for my vacation, collinsfbi has been quite wonderful with information and thumbs up to him. Please what are the latest documents/documentations needed to get an entry visa for visiting? cheers |
When Jumia first started out with one name like that, i ordered this Iphone ear piece and it took them 7 days to deliver meanwhile on the site, it said 2-3 days, thank God i opted for pay on delivery and as i am typing this sef, the darn thing has stopped working. This guys played me one chance. |
May the good Lord grant you the strength and finances to finish this project. This is highly commendable. |
i bought an xbox 360 from this nairalander called billy-amin, the guy is a great guy, he not only brought it to my office, he also added a free game to it and i got to pay twice!! which is not normally done. Great guy that billy-amin. |
how can you claim to be moving at 60km/hr and your car hit the railing and fell into the water? Those railings are pretty high and a sienna car is relatively low so is he saying one winch would have lifted the car over?? nna abeg the man was speeding jare and should admit abeg. Thank God for his life sha!! |
olumidazz: @skibochi - biyo shot up your mouth there. U think say I no go no say na you.Na wa o bros!! i no sabi say i dey famous like that but for the yarn i talk, no be LIE NAAAAA!! |
i have lived in this VI/Lekki axis for the past 30 years, i witnessed soo many lekki sun splash to mention a few and i have to tell you guys there has been some serious development in the lekki - epe axis. I recall when we used to visit lekki beach, it was as if we were going to ibadan from VI o!!! talk less of Epe, infact the journey was soo tedious because the road was quite narrow and you had so many people also going. What the lagos state government has done as regards this road is a very welcomed development because i can bet lots of people in this forum have not lived in this part this long for them to have witnessed the transformation of lekki to what it is now. LEKKI-MAROKO was BUSH, THICK, BIG, BUSH FA!!! My take on this is that the tolls should be paid, coming from what i had seen some 30 years back to what i am seeing now!! Haba!! it only makes sense now!! Must we all leave in this lekki/ajah axis set? |
Wow! So the great BABA OLOYE has passed on! May his soul rest in perfect peace. This man was the greatest politician that ever came out from Kwara state, he was a formidable political force to reckon with and the political landscape of Ilorin will surely change within the coming months. |
all these people twisting and quoting bible passages misleading people, how do you expect a kid that is not working to pay tithes? when i was growing up, my folks gave us money for offering ONLY!! which was the right thing to do as they were instilling in us the principle of giving back which may not even necessarily be in the house of God. Right now i tithe and it did not need any pastor or reverend to tell me to do that so far one is in tune with God and reads the good book. Make all these churches chill abet |
all these people talking love sef!! some of them even quoting tins!! the question to be asked is "what is love" are you ready to remove your eye, kidney, lungs for the other man? Manly love is overrated abeg and the only person as far as i'm concerned that came close to giving pure unadulterated love was Mother Theresa, all other chics/guys make una go learn abet and park!!! |
