Give the devil a room and he takes the house. He should meet them in the company of other believers to avoid problem. |

successmatters: Made of block or concrete? Dude collected money for concrete buildings and after doing the one on wethereral road, changed his mind and used blocks, many many of those schools are uncompleted now, some communities have got none, he builds all his projects on the road, if your community is not on a major road, nothing for you. Rochas is playing for the gallery. You didn't want to reveal your state of origin. Now it's clear you're from Imo State. |

successmatters: The man that collected money to build concrete classrooms and instead built ten schools and claims to have built one school in each of the 305 communities in imo. Okorocha should be flogged publicly. I'm sorry but I've SEEN a good number of the said schools, even the ones in interior villages. |

mikron: so because he is a pastor he is supposed to be poor? Ur way of thinking is appalling no insult intended He hasn't implied so. His worry, as I understand, is that the pastor apparently lives in affluence when he could have used the money to help the poor members of his congregation. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Should A Pastor Drive A 10 Million Naira Car? by slap1(m): 2:35pm On Mar 08, 2015 |
I prefer to not comment on threads like this, but when members of your congregation dwell in poverty and you live in opulence, it doesn't look good. |

How does one banish impure thoughts? Sometimes one has impure thoughts, not because one wants to indulge in something bad...the thought just creeps in somehow. I immediately pray against such thoughts, but I want to know if there's another way. .. |

EggovinMma: This people are highly hypocritical. Sometimes I wonder what actually runs through their heads. BOKO haram kills other Muslims who criticise them o . Some Christians are so wicked that even the devil will shudder. Can you imagine someone calling unbelievers enemies?Have dey forgotten the parable of the Good Samaritan? Wow! I pray not to come an inch close to religious fanatics. Fanatism is bad. Calling someone an enemy implies you've passed judgement on the person, which the Bible is clearly against. A christian's greatest enemy is sin/ devil. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is It Good To Have Close Friendship With An Unbeliever As A Christian? by slap1(m): 7:33am On Mar 08, 2015 |
pastorKosiso: There is no relationship between a believer and an unbeliver. Period. Follow peace with all men still evil communication corrupts good manners (what has light got to do with darkness) Pastor, your interpretation of things seem a bit skewed. How do you live in peace with someone you don't want to relate with (and clearly have a bias against)? Not being on equal yoke with unbelievers doesn't mean we shouldn't interact with them or have them as 'friends'/ neighbours. Equal yoke, as I understand, means operating on the same frequency / bandwidth with them: sharing their thoughts, lifestyle and ideas. There is no escaping from relating with unbelievers because the Bible already said we're in the world. But we shouldn't be like them because we're not of (don't belong to) the world. Thanks! |

Luke: 5. 30. And the Pharisees and their scribes made protests against his disciples, saying, Why do you take food and drink with tax-farmers and sinners? 31. And Jesus, answering, said to them, Those who are well have no need of a medical man, but those who are ill. 32. I have come, not to get the upright, but sinners, so that they may be turned from their sins. |

samuelson06: Lol. Calm down. I want to ask you: can you stay in the same house with any member of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram? See, you crush an enemy. It's either they are with us or they are against us. Either light or darkness. Either friend or foe. I don't really share this view. You sound slightly fanatical. |
