SportsRe: Super Eagles Nations Cup Scandal by slary(m): 7:55pm On Feb 20, 2006
It is rather unfortunate that such a thing is still re occurring again after the incidence of 1991.
I'm particularly amazed by this revellation. As a giant of Africa, when are we suppose to do things the right way? Besides why should people, who have no bussines in the team be allowed free access to the players, these are questions that deserve answers from those saddle with the authority of managing the team.
The semi final lost to the Ivorians should not be blamed on the coach, rather the players who were not committed to their FATHERLAND.
SportsRe: 3rd Place Match: Nigeria Vs Senegal by slary(m): 2:37pm On Feb 09, 2006
There would be no difference with the other matches we all watched, there is nothing

so spectacular about the eagles at this championship. The defence porous, midfield no cohesion

with the attack. I doubt if this (vultures) not eagles would come home with any medal.
SportsRe: Super Eagles In The African Cup Of Nations (Egypt 2006) by slary(op): 4:45pm On Feb 06, 2006
I sincerely hope that Eagles will improve in the crucial semi final show down against the Ivorians.

Just a lone goal is enough to decide the winner, which of course is NIGERIA grin grin grin
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Zimbabwe: Walk-Over For Super Eagles? by slary(m): 5:14pm On Jan 26, 2006
Please do not under estimate any Team. Though Nigeria would win ,but Eagles have to better watch it. Zimbabweans might be spoilers.

SportsRe: Super Eagles at the African Nations Cup by slary(op): 11:57am On Dec 27, 2005
I hope 2006 would not be an exception, besides the preparation is nothing to right home about

as at the 26day of December only Greg etafia was the only foreign based player in camp.

Honestly i weep the this country, when would we begin to do things the right way in this

Kola, your question this time is tough, but i have to go back and check my records.
SportsRe: Will Arsenal Shine Again? by slary(m): 11:30am On Dec 27, 2005
Hey Kola, going on relegation would not solve the problems, what the Gunners need

at the moment is to inject new players into the team, especially in the defence line.

To me in my personal opinion Arsenal plays the most entertaining football in England.

The GUNNERS will rise again. grin grin

SportsSuper Eagles at the African Nations Cup by slary(op): 11:12pm On Dec 14, 2005
Can the Eagles redeem their image at ANC?

Will the SUPER EAGLES, redeem their dented image at the nation's cup in Egypt, to pacify
millions of Nigerians over their inability to qualify for Germany 2006?

Nothing short of the cup would be welcome by crazy soccer people of the most populous black nation in the world.

How do we all see the inclusion of YAKUBU AIYEGBENI.
SportsRe: CAF African Player of the Year 2005 Award by slary(m): 7:44am On Nov 13, 2005
As far as I'm concerned those nominated for this year's award deserve it, because they are the hotest players we can find around. Kudos to the nominees and DROGBA deserve it.
