Igbos are there own problem ..every deluded person wants to write history that is pleasant to his ears....!! Igala influence extended upto onitsha and that's a fact...I even read some place here where someone wrote igbos don't consider themselves equals with the igalas....I'm no igala myself but happened to do some deep field work there....all these stories been paraded here are just ridiculous....!! Yes there are intermarriage between the brothers communities but did those in kogi they claimed to be igbo ever refer to themselves as igbos...? You can't forcefully co-opt somebody into your enthinicity when the person thinks otherwise...!! The truth is the truth no matter what anybody say here...all we need in this country is peace and harmony instead of try hard to paint yourself superior to others....!! There nothing the igbo can do that any other tribes in this country can't do...!! What drive the igbo to think that they are smarter than other tribes is quest for wealth and greed to show off and oppress others which is lacking in other tribes cos they don't really care....simple...!! Look at what is happening in their nollywood drama industry and they want everybody to accept it as Nigerians film industry....!!

I think IPOB should secretly do either more research and or influencing in a very very meek and also strong way..

MNK tested a lot of waters... the masterstroke he did by announcing the capture of militant Fulani man who was terrorising Igbo villages in Benue.

It brought those communities out.

He did something similar in Eleme to pursue people terrorising them. kings from minority groups were actually doing meetings with him.

However, that's a lot of work. The next work is to sensitize his members let them be aware and know that Igbophobia is a real thing. So many Igbo people are very ignorant about this. trust me.
Nahhh. The Igbos who don't know about Igbophobia are some who are mostly at home in the South East. Every Igbo outside knows Igbophobia quite well.

Igboid, this guy Alexbells is a very funny dude... I told him yesterday to stop disgracing Igbos are he didn't know what is on ground. I advised him to do some research.
Just one single result, he don carry Bazuka..

CC: Bkayy, Igboid, Slayerforever.
See one of your comrades thinking of a Neo Nigerian Babelian Biafra crying on his first results. grin
Only about 1% of IPOB members want and actively pursue a multiethnic Biafra. 90% don't care for it. About the remaining 4% are on the fence. Many are only for it because Nnamdi Kanu structured IPOB so.

Ekealterego:
They are Ohaobu Ndoki, many of them claim Abia state and even run for positions in Abia state... 90% of them never agreed to the Akwa-Ibom tag and will never tell you they are from Akwa-Ibom, they will rather say they are from Abia state.

There is also an extention from the Arochukwu side too but I think it is just as a result of the expansion of the town.

However, there are villages like Ndi Okoro and Nkalu, deep inside Akwa Ibom

I think there are more Igbos in Cross River than Akwa-Ibom.
With what Ogbonna Okoro has revealed about the extent of Igboland into Kogi I will not be surprised if the same is the case in Akwa Ibom.

Interesting.
I just remembered the song "Oleku" by Ice prince.
Lol!
Thanks for the history lesson on evolution of Oluku/Onuku from Oleku.
Funny thing is that it is used as far as Abia and Imo state. Being parts of Igboland who had no interactions with Igala, yet Oluku/Onuku is used to refere to someone behaving in a stupid manner.
Very interesting.
More interesting is that in Anambra dialects where there is a replacement of L for N in words, as seen in Ana for Ala, Enu for Elu, the L in Oleku quickly changed to Onuku, while the Igbos in southern part who use L for N, despite having no contact with Igalas, ended up rechanging the Onuku they heard from Ndi ANAMBRA to Oluku, and by so doing ended up with a word closer to the original Oleku word than the Anambra people closer to Igala.

Language evolution is very interesting.
Esentially the word went in a circle

They are afraid. But it will not really stop an attack from happening. Which makes this move somehow foolish.

I'm not too bothered about the Igala in Anambra because they are too tiny, they are being assimilated gradually and they have been generally law abiding most of the time.

Igboid:
They wouldn't do anything, they can only bark.

This is my issue with Ndiigbo. We are too soft.
The few Igala people in Anambra, we respect them and accord them their independent status. We even have news in Igala in Anambra state radio station to carry them along, despite the fact that these lots came to our land via invasion by the Igala general known in history as General Ajida.
We forgave them and accepted their descendants.

But Igala people don't want the Igbos indigenous to Kogi East to be recognized as independent indigenous ethnicity in the state.
They want them to be forcefully tagged as Igala.
Igala is a minority and not up to 1/20th of Igbo population, but they are this expansionist in nature.
Imagine if they had Igbo numbers and we had theirs?

We are not doing well, I swear.
We will meet them head-on don't worry.

Please ndị b'anyi as I had guessed correctly the enemies are now coming for our dear brother Ogbonna Okoro for exposing the existence of the Igbo communities of Kogi state which span over 3 LGAs of Ofu, Igalamela-Odolu and Ibaji. We should as a matter of urgency rally round our brother at this time.

Quickly head to his Facebook wall https://www.facebook.com/kamma.uwamgbede and follow everything happening. Onye ọ bụla mụrụanya.

It closed shortly past 11. Many of the people from the concerned villages are beginning to reach out to Ogbonna. You can check the latest developments on his Facebook page. Very interesting times.
