Supremos: When I watched the video couple of weeks ago, I was thinking why 'Igbos' will go and destroy 'Ijaw' king palace, and why Ijaws Known for their rabid fear of Igbos, hasn't started shouting over the destruction.
Everything is beginning to make sense for me now.
It simply means that Indigenous Igbos did that, and there's nothing others could have done. Exactly! |

In the video the youths can be heard dishing out instructions to each other in Igbo as they coordinate the attack on their monarch's palace.

Indigenes earlier suspected to be Ijaw in Bayelsa attacked their monarch 3 months ago, but it didn't make the news. However the attack was captured on video. Listen to the angry youths as they besiege the King's palace. https://twitter.com/i/status/1397677837717487616

Ariani: Slayerforever, you need to open a topic on Igbos of Brass using that Twitter video!
At this rate, Ijaws will not even own Bayelsa. Choi! You now understand why the mention of BIAFRA make these people go pale! They need NIGERIA like a drowning man need oxygen to sustain all these lies!
I mean those guys burning that palace could easily pass for Onitsha boys! They were speaking Onitsha street Igbo slangs!

Abohboy: Igbo were the main traders along the lower Niger and Brass was a major point of trade between British and Africans so the Igbo went down south and set up base in that area. It was even written by the Lander Brothers if i'm not mistaken that Brass was in servitude to Obi Ossai and he had to kneel down on his head in order to speak to Obi Ossai added to that not sure if this news is verified but a lot of the metal used in Brass like swords, religious items, guns etc. Were allegedly made in Awka so there's definitely a strong link but the indigenous people are defo the Nembe other the last 400-500 years Igbo have begun entering the area and their influence is now being seen. Historically paid obeisance to Obi Ossai? That is not a small statement to make o. |

Someone remind me again what the function and use of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo? When I viciously attacked Ohanaeze here some years ago one Ohanaeze man pounced on me Since then I gave some things a second thought and avoided them a bit going further. |

Ekealterego: They are not the only group. There is a smaller group called, "Buseni". I know like one or two personally, although I have not been in contact for a long time. Many of them speak some form of Igbo and even dress Igbo sometimes. They even have Igbo surnames. But they are so small that they have mixed with people around them. Even their chiefs still wear the traditional isi-agu right there in Bayelsa. However, to be fair they just identify as "Buseni" and probably also speak other couple of native languages in addition. They are small and have been absolved. I can't call them Igbo completely but yeah.. Okay good I will scour the information nexus for "Buseni". I also do suspect there are Ekpeye communities in Bayelsa. Though they are likely very remote. |

Mr Okorie and Mr Nwagozu
Bkayy, Eastlink
Come and see o! What has been seen cannot be unseen!
We need a multi billion naira financed Igbo natuonalist movement.
Onye ji igu ka-ewu n'eso. We can bring back all lost tribes of Igboland.
There are indeed without any hint of doubt Igbos indigenous in Bayelsa!
This is big!
Ohanaeze Ndiigbo has been a colossal failure. We need a new body totally dedicated to this task! It can be done! Yes! It seems you checked up Comr. Anthony Okorie. Nwagozu, Okorie : This is an Igbo community all through. Interestingly the Isoko continued to claim this communities as theirs through one unscrupulous Isoko monarch in a neighboring community. |

Ariani: Interesting. This where we need a strong well funded Aggressive Igbo nationalism movement, to reach out to such individuals, oil their palms if need be, do some community projects in the community and Mount a sign board indicating that it was done by an Igbo body in the spirit of Igbo brotherhood. Simple things like renovation of their dilapidated community primary and secondary school, providing chairs that would have logo and Igbo tag well printed on it. These things are not hard, the only thing missing is the purposeful leadership. You no lie. Very easy. I may start an Igbo outreach. Time will be my greatest stumbling block though. |

isokomarine: before you make post or comments you should have carried out research, those places are part of isoko territories in bayelsa state also know as okugbe isoko Yes. Okugbe is headed by an Isoko monarchy. But I am made to understand this monarchy is wrongfully exercising authority over their Igbo neighbors in Osekwenike, Abuetor and others, even going as far as misrepresenting them in the government house. This has been resisted, sometimes leading to violence. So I know about it. |

Supremos: Since Ijaws has the effontry to look Igbos in the eyes to say Opobo, Ndoki, Bonny, Obigbo, Afam are Ijaw, we will show you guys where you come from, and your true size.
Bayelsa will be so ripped that what will be remained of a truly Ijaw enclave, will be so inconsequential that you will be so terrified to engage Urhobo in a fight.
We will so rip you upon that you will be scattered and never gathered again.
Ijaw has pushed their luck too far by trying to grab Igboland. Igbo ekunie! |

Brimstone77: igbos are not trying to force any minority tribe..we are simply trying to unite our Igbo brother that were separated from us by the Nigerian government...
China despite their strength, population, and land mass couldn't let go of Taiwan and Hong Kong, does that also make them attachee by force or land grabbers??
I never wanted a Biafra nation that involve multiple ethnic nationality, but I stand with the unification of the Igbo race not minding your location... God bless you. |

IDeyNL: Seriously, how does that concern anyone if they themselves haven't come out to lay this claim? Are you Igbo from bayelsa?
You IPoBs need to stop this nonsense.
Everyday you keep opening one thread about Igbos are here and Igbos are there.
I haven't heard anywhere in physical where such arguments are made, except here on nairaland, Facebook and other social media where you IPoBs publicly try to ridicule the great Igbos. If those Igbos in SS haven't com out to identify where they belong, please allow them be.
Stop all these attachees.
There are bigger issues to tackle in the south east. You IPoBs keep killing businesses in the east by attacking everyone and every businesses. How do you expect people to take you serious. So we should abandon our brothers |

Some of you really have to get serious job in life.
Allow the minorities to speak themselves and be the boss
I just hope this online attitude is not being reflected in physical.
Most of you IPoBs keep giving Igbos bad name So in essence no Igbos in Bayelsa? |

Ariani: Lol! IPOB eliminated state lines and replaced it with what? They replaced it with "two wrapper based Biafran tribe that existed before Igbo and contains all ethnic groups whose mothers tie two wrappers". MNK even once said there is nothing like Igbo. That he is not Igbo, but rather a Biafran.
MNK and IPOB fought tooth and nail to obliterate the Igbo identity and tag and it's place create a fictional "Biafran" identity where Ndiigbo are apparently supposed to be one and same people as myriads of minorities stretching from SS to Cameroon and Igala/Idoma.
See, MNK era has not even totally come to an end, and his disciples are already distorting history. Lies. But even in your lies no problem *shake hands with a smile on my face*.

Ariani: See list of Languages spoken in Bayelsa. In Yenegoa LGA , certain villages speak Ekpeye, which is an Igboid language. So yes! There are Igbo speaking people in Bayelsa state and they are Ekpeye people.
If we get a real well funded pan Igbo nationalism movement that can return Ekepye to the fold, we will reclaim our territories in Bayelsa. And mind you in the past, the Edoid people like Epie and Attissa people aligned alot with Igbos in Eastern region than with Izons.
If Eastern region was split by a referendum and not a military fiat, those groups would have pitched their tents with Igbos as against Izons. The three communities mentioned are said to be Ukwuani. |
