As a northern APC supporter, I want to call on our best candidate, ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU to step down for his political god-son, vice president YEMI OSIBANJO because of the following reasons.
1. Age is not on Asiwaju's side.
2. Health issues
3. Issue of religion and running mate. Tinubu is a Muslim, if he choose a northern Muslim as running mate, christians will reject. If he choose a northern christian running mate, the northern Muslims will not like it.

It's over for APC in Oyo state. Just waiting for them to finish the Oyo south senatorial primary election going on at Le chateaux before you see more defections. Oyo North own is also a big war between Shina Peller and Sen Fatai Buhari.

APC can as well use an ethnic card with a point that Buhari a Fulani man should not hand over power to another Fulani with annoying nepotic disposition of the present government, this could be a selling point where other ethnic groups who feel threatened by Fulani dominance in the last few year would want to exert their strength

Obviously, Prof Osinbajo will be a piece of cake for Atiku to be eaten raw. This is all obvious because the VP has no issue based campaign achievement to campaign his way in. No matter what he’s obviously part of Buhari government and their horrible governance of 8years. Beside he’s a pastor and not a Muslim, how’s he going to fly his ambition in the north? Coupled with the fact that he has no political clout, neither is he widely known amongst the political elites, especially in the north. I’m sure APC will not make the mistake of fielding him.

As with the rubber stamped Senate President Ahmed Lawan, although a northerner, he’s not even widely known. We haven’t seen him display any political strategy. Also a part of the government with the most horrible retrogression in the history of Nigeria. More so, Atiku is more popular than him in the South and he has no political structure whatsoever anywhere aside the area he’s representing in the chamber.

GEJ isn’t even an option. He’ll not fly. Both the north and the south understands too well he’s a pun being used by the elites and Buhari cabal to achieve their evil aim of allowing the north take country through him for another 12 years (obviously he’d be their lapdog in his 4 years).

Amaechi is a joker.

Most election are won by strategy and having a structure that can push your interest in far remote village. Remove these two factors, popularity is a waste of time. And you know in APC only Tinubu has the two factors in large measure

Only Tinubu has shown the political strategy, enough to oust an incumbent president in 2015. I believe if Tinubu emerge and Buhari throws his support behind him, owning to the fact that Buhari still has some relevance in the north. And with Tinubu achievement in Lagos and his charm of always having the best minds on board. He’s going to clinch the Ticket.

You obviously aren't from Edo State otherwise you would have known the current height of regret and disillusionment by the slim majority that voted for Obaseki's second term. His major critics now are members of his own PDP which he factionalized since his second term began.
Moreover, his faction within the PDP has just lost legitimacy on the strength of the Appeal Court ruling delivered just two days ago. Obaseki is a powerless man in Edo State right now.
