Initially I suspected it was "Athlete foot disease", she applied Some topical creams and the pain disappeared.

Not long ago, she started complaining of the pain again and it was worse than before. The pain was excruciating, most times, my sister wakes up crying

Doctors and pharmacists in the house, kindly help me check this out, pictures are attached below. The toe is also swollen. Help me diagnosis and effective medications please.

(PS: I still suspect it's Athlete foot disease or Onychomycosis, but I need better knowledge from the doctors in the house. Thank you)

we'll,I feel she puts her leg into water,especially stagnant water often,cuz I do have the one on her toes but mine is hereditary and it starts paining me when its submerged in water for a long period of time...I do use salt and semi hot water to treat it...but for the one under her foot,I don't really know much of that

Industrial accident...that's how I lost my dad 11years ago just because the company refused provide my dad safety suits and was forced to go into a Field filled with pipes of acid to weild even tho he was supposed to be off duty that same day....tho he finished his work only for the acid to burst from another part and all poured on him burning off his clothes and skin...he died 5days later due to internal injuries...
We were only able to get compensation after we threatened to take them to court....
