Car TalkRe: Police Make N.1m From Kano-jigawa Road Checkpoints Daily by sleekshedy(m): 9:29am On Dec 21, 2012
I don't have any problem with the police collecting 20 naira, If it will help them do theIr job. After all that money is nothing compared to what politicians, oil marketers and civil servants steal from our treasury in one second.

pimp_lucious :
How silly Of President Jonathan To Go On His Knees At Redeemed Camp Again

I am watching Channels TV News@10 and the sight before me is highly disappointing!!!!!

After waving and smiling sheepishly to the crowd and delivering his score-card speech, the shoeless fool once again knelt down with all of his Presidential anointing in PUBLIC before Pastor Adeboye. VERY DISGUSTING!!!!!!

Does this man knows the implication of that singular action on the psyche of the 150M Nigerians, many of whom are muslims and men of other faith, whose sovereignty he holds for them in trust?

This man is truly very foolish and a clown
Look, I don't support some of the president's decisions, which is normal cus am human. But You cannot go about calling the president of Nigeria all these derogatory names and expect any reasonable person to take you and your silly write up serious. What makes you think you're any better? And who the hell made you a judge? I am sure you can't even rule your home.

It's practically impossible for one to have all those qualities. So just live your life the way you feel comfortable and don't worry about what others do.
CelebritiesRe: Ghana's R2bees Backs Out From P-square Concert - Because Of Money? by sleekshedy(m): 2:27pm On Dec 02, 2012
Busta Rhymes was paid 800000USD to perform at the star mega jams. No artist in Nigeria is paid such amount, so they should chill. Their time will come.

That's the only thing he knows how to do "flip flop and double down".
Common Mr Sanusi, you people have to realize that we can't continue to spend more than we generate.
How about advocating for the reduction of government officials salary by 70%?
PoliticsRe: Sanusi: Reduction Of Political Appointees, Not For Sack Of Civil Servants by sleekshedy(m): 10:12am On Dec 01, 2012
Why won't they be paid so much, when you allocate so much money to them than they ever need. Check their security votes, monthly allocations and 13% for oil producing states. I wonder what he expect when all he does is issue checks and not bother about what the money is used for? He knows he can't touch the governors, so he target their aides. So my questions is, if you sack the aides, will it reduce the money you allocate to these ineffective government officials?

I think the question is dumb. I once had a white boss. And people on the construction site always greet each other with " How was your night?" So trying to be friendly with the oyinbo man who happens to be the chief site engineer I greeted him "Good morning" then "How was ur night" and his reply made me feel so stupid. He smiled and replied " Good morning.. Well I can really know how my nite was because it was night and I slept all through it" What I should have asked was "Hope you slept well" , " How is your family" or even a simple " How is everything". Nigeria and unnecessary drama sha.
If his night is none of your business, his family should also be none of your business. Dem tell you sey na every oyibo sabi English language? Talk Less the once you see on construction sites.

Even though I don't do It, to me it's the same as asking someone, how was your day?

sexkillz: [color=#000030]Person wey go spoil, go spoil. Before the advent of whatsapp etc, people don dey spoil. It's all in the mindset.

Just bear in mind that situations will continue to get worse and not better. The world as a whole is spiraling downward.

Make up your mind to be different and dont stress yourself with what the next person is doing, else, unnecessary headaches shall be your portion. . . E kwu si gom.

I can't agree with you more person Won spoil go spoil, even if the person name na goodness. TravelRe: Can We Actually Change The Negative Perception about Nigeria? by sleekshedy(m): 2:24pm On Nov 26, 2012
Our system doesn't encourage positive change, it discourages it. Imagine somebody embezzled 10billion, he plea bargained and he's asked to refund 1billion.
TravelRe: Can We Actually Change The Negative Perception about Nigeria? by sleekshedy(m): 2:13pm On Nov 26, 2012
Emmy9ite: Yes we can, how?
1. Be the change you want to see in Nigeria

2. Never speak negative about the president, the government and other leaders, try as much as possible to be positive at all times.

3. If you really wanna change Nigeria, start by changing yourself. Refuse to give or collect bribe, report fraudulent cases to the right agencies. In two words.... BE PATRIOTIC!
Our problems are way deeper than the things you've mentioned. You really need to watch Fox news and see the kind of bashing Obama gets from them. Still he tells you, they have every right to do so and as their president, his duty is protect their right to call him whatever they like. So you people should stop all these "Never speak negative about the president, the government and other leaders". One thing is certain, people will hate you no matter what you do, especially when you are serving the public. And if you feel you can't take the heat, then leave the kitchen!
TravelRe: Can We Actually Change The Negative Perception about Nigeria? by sleekshedy(m): 1:54pm On Nov 26, 2012
There's only one possible change in Nigeria, that's violent change. We can deceive ourselves all we want, but the fact are very clear.
PoliticsRe: How Telephone Glitch Frustrated Obama's Move To Reach Jonathan by sleekshedy(m): 7:32pm On Nov 25, 2012
Some of you are just unbelievable, even though it's official that president Jonathan supported Mitt Romney, do you really think the US government will lie about a mere phone call? You people should blame the dysfunctional system we have here. Because I don't think the Nigerian embarcy is also being mischievous.

I don't think anyone living in this country will be surprised to hear that. My opinion. The only people who will deny this, are those in government and their conspirators like Otodola. They'll tell you how legitimate their business is.

PoliticsRe: Presidency Officials Accuse Jonathan Of Lying To Nigerians by sleekshedy(m): 7:31pm On Nov 20, 2012
Some of you don't just get it, Abeti is supposed to be the presidential spokesman(mouth piece). If his words cannot be trusted, there's really no reason for him to be there. Also, if it will take months for president to dispute what his spokesman told Nigerians, it shows we have a disfunctional government. The president cannot just come out on national TV and throw his men under the bus.
