stealth02: Thanks @jergins. My apologies, the 425 score actually includes pending ECAs for both of us but no spouse IELTS. So the contention is actually centred around spouse's IELTS test. As advised by @Abby2017 we will dive in at 425 and update profile as soon as our situation changes if we haven't received an ITA by then. Hi. If you're married, you have 2 options. (i) selecting married and say YES to spouse accompanying and ur spouse may or may not help u get d extra marks u need to beef up ur CRS depending on if u have great points or not. OR (ii) selecting married and say NO to accompanying spouse and ur CRS will be computed like as if u were a single applicant BUT you cannot come back to add ur spouse. Also, you cannot add ur spouse after ITA when your marriage date is date before ITA. That is misrepresentation. The only situation u can add spouse after ITA is when ur wedding/marriage was actually after ITA. And sure ur marriage certificate will corroborate the dates. If you're considering saving cost by doing just one of ECA or IELTS for spouse, I'll rather let spouse do IELTS at lesser cost and aim at getting the maximum points of 20 than doing ECA at higher cost with plenty stress of transcript application and the maximum points spouse can get is 10 even with a PhD degree. |

kike100: I experienced same at IOM ,even though I had read about it ahead of time. However, my surgery was done in a private clinic , I obtained a very comprehensive report signed by the M.D.( not medical officer or any junior doctor) showing the diagnosis, treatment & prognosis just inline with Canadian health standard. The physician at IOM went through and said it's on point however if I don't hear from them in 1 week am as good as good!
I didn't hear from them,then came medicals passed. I meet some people who has been told to do further tests due to non-satisfactory/ comprehensive report.
I think you should find a way to reach the surgeon,they can find a way out for you. Thanks for this info. Will return to LUTH on Monday and see how I can push further. Hoping the health workers calls of their strike very soon. |

manlikegb: Sorry guys, I didn’t post the question below clear enough the first time, let me rephrase;
Is it possible for me to help my spouse pick up result(ielts TRF) at British Council office and also for me to help my spouse request a EOR(remark). The result is LRWS-6.0,6.0,7,7. Thanks.
@Kontagious, @bigfido, @tbaby2015, @threadstone, @boldinc, @yooku @sleekyslik Yes, it's possible to help spouse pick up. Just get him/her to write an authorisation letter and also go with his/her international passport plus your own means of ID. And for the EOR, I don't know how d form looks like but in case there's anywhere meant for the applicant to sign ensure your spouse appends his/her signature before leaving home and don't forget your 15k bank draft as well. |

Yewwygraceful: This is serious, please what hospital is this? Why do they need a report of your surgery. Maybe it depends on the type of surgery done? I really pray the strike is called off quickly o. Na Consultant practice oo. Type of surgery na myomectomy. It's not as if what they're asking for is too much, its just unfortunate that it's a federal government hospital involved. Doctors have resumed though, but other health workers are still on strike. (Medical records, case file handlers etc) and the procedure in getting the report sef no be beans. Pls, anybody that can help me 'press button' biko epp me |

Edakun eyin eyan mi, egbami ooo (my people pls come to my aid)... I went for my medicals today and the lady doctor I saw asked among all other questions if I have done any surgery before and I answered YES. Only for her to tell me to go get medical report from where I had d surgery. See me see trouble ooo. Na LUTH and health workers are currently on strike. She said its important I get it else they might not be able to forward my medical report to IRCC. Though I was given d e-medicals form to upload and submit my eAPR but I might not get 'medical passed' after AOR on time if I don't come with LUTH report. Pls, has anybody been in this type of situation before and how was it resolved. I have contacted LUTH and I've been asked to submit an application letter requesting that I need report but was told it won't be processed until health workers resume. Except I really know right 'buttons to press' before I can get it say in 2-4wks.
Pls, anyone here that can help with 'pressing of buttons' abeg come to my aid.
Sorry for the plenty talk. Thank y'all in advance |

cheapphones: Hello house please I need a little clarification with wes payment, I saw international courier for $75 and standard shipping for $7, under what circumstances can one use standard shipping, is it only for Canadian address. Also would they send a softcopy to my mail. Also if my transcript is ready and I don't have the reference number yet, is there any harm sending it or should one wait for the reference number? *The international courier is if you want your report to be sent to you via DHL/UPS etc which should get to your Nigerian address in 2-5days. While the standard shipping is the regular post office mail and might take up to 4weeks or more before arriving your Nigerian address. (If e no loss in transit ) *Yes, a soft copy of your report will be sent to your email *It is expected that your reference number be quoted on every correspondence you are sending to WES. i.e. when you're sending copy of your degree certificate and also when your school is sending your transcript. |

Marvi4real: If you have verified with Wes already, no cause for alarm, you can use the eca for Wes to get ur ITA and COPR.but to practice later you must have to register with MCC Really! Thanks for clarifying |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by sleekysilk: 5:09am On Sep 07, 2017 |
Deebay: Medical doctors are to get their eca from MCC and not Wes Has CIC ever rejected ECA report from WES for medical doctors? Just curious though. What if the applicant does not intend to practice medicine in Canada or saving cost of MCC until when COPR is certain. I know people in the 2 different situations. |

nnekdre: Please if you use your current DOB and u get your ITA and just before submitting your birthday comes up and increases your age thus reducing your CRS score. Are you not meant to recalculate before applying ? I'm not too sure. Although I read somewhere that once you get ITA your CRS score is locked and cannot be affected but I also read elsewhere that it's at the discretion of the agent/officer in charge of your file to either let your score remain the unaffected irrespective of your birthday whether you are post ITA or post AOR. Anyways, I do not plan to 'wait and see'. I have my documents ready. Just for me to go for my police clearance and medicals which I believe can be achieved in one-two days. Hopefully by God's grace I get ITA in 2wks (20th) and before my birthday on the 27th I will submit my application. Make una join me pray oooo. |

Kontagious: Cochtrane, can you please help confirm (search) that WES equates NCE and BSc to two or more certificates. Be like we had a case of such but I can't remember well.
If WES does equates to two or more, than that's good for JORN - that's more points than just BSc. YES! I hereby confirm that NCE and BSc qualify for points for 2 or more certificates. These are my qualifications. NCE according to WES is equivalent to a Canadian '3 year diploma' and my BSc( direct entry for that matter) also equivalent to a '3year bachelors degree'. And my CRS gave me maximum points under education and with my over 3yrs work experience, I also got 100/100 under skill transferability. |

Yureyes: Again, please can I create an express entry profile and begin the necessary documents evaluation before I write the IELTS next month? No! You need the numbers on your evaluation report and IELTS result to create your express entry profile. i.e. NO ECA+IELTS, then NO EXPRESS ENTRY PROFILE |
