funshobabs: First thing to do is to write IELTS exams but make sure you aim for a band score of 7.5 that would mean that you will be getting 8 in Listening, 7 in Reading, 7 Writing and 7 in speaking. You need to prepare well because proper preparation is the secret behind getting good ielts score. Any thing lesser than the above quoted score is practically useless, trust me. Or else you will be dashing British Council ur hard earned 68k on a steady basis. Depending on how fast your school as regards transcript and verification, I would advice that first thing to do is credential evaluation/assessment. I did my IELTS in December 2014 and applied for my transcript one month after- January 2015 but I didn't get my ECA until February 2016. By then my IELTS only had 10months to expiration. And of course, no favourable draw in those 10months. So I always advise people to sort out their transcript/ECA issues to a reasonable point before going for IELTS. My 2cents. |

domvic: is it possible for me to also include the statement of result in the transcript the school will be sending to Wes or am I suppose to send the statement myself? please can someone help me out . Ordinarily, you are supposed to send statement of result yourself. But if your school can do you the favour of including it in the same envelop as the transcript, fine. |

Issyman: Plz my family, as anyone from OOU used WES for ECA. What is d response time to verification mail like. Faster or slow? Did u pay additional fees for mail verification. All responses are appreciated. One love Hello Issyman. Yes, I used WES for my OOU. Though that was in February 2015 when international transcript was 5k and no additional fee was paid for verification. They really delayed in proocessing my transcript giving various excuses that some of my courses had no scores and I should come down to 'search for my scores/results' myself. I was fortunate to get their email somewhere somehow around December after 10 months of waiting I just had to email them practically begging them to at least respond to WES' verification even if my transcript is yet to be processed. My transcript was not sent to WES on time but the verification was done in 5days after I emailed the school on oouexamsandrecords@yahoo.com and oouexamsandrecords@oouagoiwoye.edu.ng It took OOU 12 whole months (1yr) to process my transcript and I was contacted to come pick it up from the school and before I could even take permission from my work to travel down to Ago, I got a mail from WES that my report was ready- February 2016. Viola! soft copy received, and in another 4days, hard copy received. I just kukuma took my time before travelling. I just pray I don't have any reason to request for anything from that school again. Good luck to all OOU alumni |

It will cover both if you're using WES. Why not just go to WES website and try to register/start ur ECA(for IRCC) application, at the end your bill/invoice will be generated and you may decide to make payments immediately or save your application and log out to come back to make payments when you're ready. domvic: ok thanks
do have an idea if i will pay for both separately or will the 200 Canadian dollar cover both? |

Madam, after imputing your details, your score is 326 (I used 35 years for your age since it's not December yet) so if we're using 36 that will be minus 5points. I later adjusted your listening score to 8 and I arrived at 376 & 371for 35 & 36 years respectively. You'll definitely need to retake your IELTS to have a minimum of 8777 in LRWS and your hubby may also need to gets his ECA and IELTS done to up your score with additional score of maximum of 30 points. Try use the link provided earlier and see for your self. You may also consider the possibility of hubby being the principal depending on his level of education, age and work experience. Hope I've been able to help a little. domvic: I will be 36 in December dis year evaluated bsc have 6years work experience L 6.5, S 7.5, R 7.5, W 7.0 I don't have anybody in canada |

Hello domvic, there are various factors that will determine what your score 'will likely look like'. e.g, your age, your IELTS scores, what WES evaluated your credential to be equivalent to. your work experience etc. Your hubby may or may not do WES and IELTS depending on what your CRS total is. you can use this link to arrive at your likely score. cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp domvic: congratulations to all that received ITA, house please I need help with what my score will likely look like I v done wes and ielts but my hubby didn't do wes and ielts what will my score look like?

Like someone asked, did your report number begin with IMM? You may need to clarify from WES again if its usable for immigration. And if yes, then you are good to go. Just order a duplicate copy to be sent to IRCC. Seniors in the house can weigh in. kissoflife: I used the Report Number in the letter of my report as ECA number. Is there a difference? |

Reading your post, I cant help but remember the evening of 8th February 2017....that day, CRS cut off dropped below 450 for the first time since onset of EE. The announced cut off was 447 and my crs was 446.....mehhhnnnn I felt terrible..especially because there wasnt much hope that it will remain low... @Esosa4real encouraged me to be hopeful...... I crosschecked ma profile and saw i made a 0.5 mistake in inputting my IELTS... I corrected d error and gbammmm......my crs score dropped to 443....just imagine my reaction..... The rest is history. So ma dear, keep the hope alive.....u shall also get past this stage....

Let's hope for the best my honourable PM. You'll definitely pull through. JustinTrudeau: I seriously do not know what they want. However i'll write back to them on the issue of my personal details. The guy that took my passport photograph on speaking test day was the one that told me to fill the form. My examiner also asked if i've filled it,so also during the screening on the test day.
I wrote my last test 25/05/2017 and i had a low score.I got just 6 in listening.I mustered courage and prepared very well for this one,was very optimistic.Malpractice? ??Never!!! I was even sitting in the front row, right infront of the guy dishing out instructions strictly.August 03 candidate can relate.
I don't know why IELTS can't just trust that people can turn around their scores by studying hard and taking it a second time. IELTS has turned to prayer point now.
I just hope and pray the score will be worth it when they eventually release the results Thanx yemdogg |

PM JT, sorry about this. Could it be that your result is part of those randomly selected for quality control? Besides, I'm seeing two different test dates: 03/08/17 and 16/02/17. Which of the results were they referring to as being withheld? I pray its the usual random selection. Sorry for the delay this might cause you in entering the pool. All the best... Lekinsbaba, 1. If i am not wrong, the average monthly balance to be stated by the bank as requested by CIC must not necessarily be 6m. It coulc be higher or lower. But if its going to be lower, it must be a reasonable margin. A wide gap between the avereage monthly balance and the last balance as at submission will definitely make the VO suspect a foul play. If the difference is going to be that much, I'm afraid you'll have to explain how you came about the bulk inflow. 2. Yes, part of the money can be withdrawn while application is in progress. But be cautious. You don't want the VO (if atall they want to verify from the bank later on) to hear that a substantial amount has been withdrawn. Though, I'm not sure if they do random verification. Wish you well in your application. lekinsbaba: Hello house,
The POF required for my family is about 6m. Please I have the following questions regarding this:
1. Must the minimum account balance over the period of six month stipulated by CIC be 6m or just the last balance at the day of submission ?
2. Can part of the money be withdrawn when application is in progress.
Thanks. |
