Firstly, Uber does not carry out vehicle inspection directly. They have designated centers that do this.

If you go to cars45 center, they will scan the car.

Some other centers might drive the car. But most centers I know will just view the car for the necessities and dazall.

I'm looking to stash away some money for a while and I have decided to invest in Uber/Bolt.

The max I have for this purpose is 2m. I have made some research and I found out that I can get a Camry 05/06 for about max 1.85m.

I have no experience in this line, I have only had a friend invest in the same business 2years ago and he told me it's a cool investment.

I have some questions on my mind, is Uber/Bolt still taking drivers?

What are the chances of meeting the weekly return as a new driver, I heard it's somewhere around 25-30k weekly?

I would appreciate your response and advice. Thanks

NB:- I won't be the one driving, I have a driver already and he's some nice guy I have known for years.

It is a very good investment, u hv one important factor A DRIVER. But another key factor is TIME as dis is not the right time as u will discouraged about the low turnout. But nw is the best time to buy car as there prices are increasing daily.

Sorry for late response.... My personal and professional advice.. Since the owner has been using 20w50, which I known is the wrong oil ... you just continue using 20w50 till the engine breaks down from wrong grade of oil . And am sure previous owner has been using the oil on that car for at least 6 months to a year before he sold it to you..


Time and time again 20w50 is a heavy oil ,by the time you start your car in the morning, because of the thickness of 20w50 oil , it takes longer time for the oil to circulate properly to all the necessary parts of the engine.. It wears down the engine quickly that way , you might get away with it some old model cars to an extend ..but newer model cars will not take kindly to it .....

10x bro, The thermostat was removed recently and cooling fan of the car is run direct. should I ignore the connection or revert back to factory settings, as the engine is still in very good condition.10x

The P0776 from experience will likely means you have to change the soleiod of that car.. I had similar issues with my 04 civic .. I just replace the soleiod and some other things and car was ok ...

In Nigerian context I will rather take the one at the top because the chances it was better taken care of is higher.

The one at the bottom are common as vehicles bought brand new for the Nigerian market. (Over 10years ago)
