Felicity0001 apart from been greedy and manipulative, you're also a terrible driver.

How can u claim this highlander is at fault? You try to over take and damage the car. Whenever right headlamp is affected, most cases is the driver's at fault.

That man with highlander, will never beg u, he let u go bc u didn't damage his car, if not u will fix his car.

The more u try to explain and justify ur actions, the more u expose yourself.
If u understand traffic law u will know that the SUV is at fault, as per right of way

Thank you for choosing to drive and earn with Bolt.

As you may have heard in the news, the Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Transport recently provided a detailed list of requirements for ride-hailing companies and drivers to meet in order to continue operating in Lagos.

Our team has continued ongoing engagement with the regulators on behalf of drivers to ensure that the final rules are not disruptive to your ability to continue to earn with your car. We continue to pursue these discussions to gain further clarity on the revised requirements and ensure that all drivers can easily obtain all additional documents now required to drive and earn in Lagos. Further information on this process will be communicated in the near future.

While Bolt will be responsible for the licensing fees and other financial commitments to the State Government under these new regulations, these additional documents will now be required to drive with Bolt or any other ride-hailing company in Lagos:

New Additional Driver Documents

Lagos State Drivers' Institute Driver's Recertification Card (LASDRI Card) - ₦2,000
Driver Badge issued by Lagos State Ministry of Transport's Department of Public Transport and Commuter Services - ₦4,000
Lagos State Resident Registration Agency (LASRRA) Card at no cost.
New Additional Vehicle Documents

State Hackney Permit issued by the Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA) - ₦4,000
Vehicle Body Tag (All Routes) issued by Lagos State Ministry of Transport's Department of Public Transport and Commuter Services - ₦6,000
All additional documents require yearly renewals & are obtainable at designated one-stop centers to be announced in the coming days.

Virtual Partners Roundtable for Drivers, Car Owners & Fleet Partner

To help you gain further insight into these new regulations and provide answers to other important questions you may have while adhering to social distancing guidelines and speaking to as many drivers as possible, we will be hosting a virtual driver roundtable next week.

More details will be shared soon.

Kindly send us your feedback and questions ahead of the event here.

P.S: These new requirements go into effect on the 27th of August 2020, and drivers will have 90 days to get all the requirements to be able to continue to drive and earn in Lagos.

I was referred and joined this group but then what I’m seeing here is just too different.

I want to call some of us on attention (esp. Mr felicity) you see one thing about life is you can’t know there’s more opportunities await you until you drop that thing you have.

I learnt a lot from driverprenuer which I did practice and it’s works for me. So what I learnt is that you have to take risk and pray

I collected a 500k Loan from a family member and borrowed 50k join from wifey did you know I got a civic 04 for 500k and I did all the repairs 38k including wash and clean.

Today I’m a car owner (I got this car July) although am still paying the loan at my convenience. But not everyone will get this kind of luck.

What I would advice for rentee Is that make una try and buy cheap car for yourself. Is not easy for car owners buying millions and seeing cheap money they will want to frustrate like selling the car off.

HP no Dey too give headache because Na driver go maintain the car.

Let’s leave reign on here. We’re family here some of us joined here to learn things. I did rental for months I can tell you is not easy for driver neither owner too cos that money you giving them, Na wetting dem they use pay car loans and repairs too. Nothing good and free than you get your own thing. @felicity try and press some button if you can get a loan and the interest is minimal please get your own car

Bellow is my civic

God will never shame anyone
Peace ✌ stay bless everyone

Let me share my experience.

I typically do ehailing, 1 trip from mainland to island very early in the morning to at least bring down my fuel cost as I transit to work.

So today I went on Indriver, saw one trip just like that - 7mins from PU and the location seemed like the island (as per indriver fastest finger, I didn't even confirm, I just applied). Trip was 1,200, I didnt mind. Its better than driving empty.

Picked up the guy, seemed like a nice guy but as I started the trip, I saw like 1hr+ on google map, then I knew I bought bad market.

Looked again, it was somewhere inside inside Apapa, apparently the bridges I saw on indriver map were the ones that lead to Apapa.

I was still acting professional, didn't complain. Started the trip. When I got inside the Apapa side, it was unbearable. Some traffic points were near standstill.

I left professionalism, turned off my a/c, he didn't deserve it, a very wicked somebody, because he was going to work and he knew what lay ahead. How can he book a trip like that for 1k, because I also use the rider side of indriver and I know they usually give a base rate that is comparable to bolt. Even without traffic that trip will be at least over 3k.

The guy realised my mood was changing, and started begging me to chill, we will get there and he will give me more money.

Long story short, after like 1hr and still in traffic, I ask the guy to alight and not bother with payment.

Very wicked people exits on indriver, be careful with the fastest finger thing
Next time focus on destination not PU on indriver, apapa way be another state for Lagos

The ease of e-hailing in Abuja is sweet...

Airport pick up is without issues as FAAN and bolt have sorted themselves out . So there is a park created for Bolt cars - you must be at d car park designated for every pick up...on exiting the car park u pay 500naira ...airport trip is 4k

Within the city, Bolt again leads the way as they have negotiated their Tax payment, so business is a win-win for all.... I must say Bolt is ahead ....

Thanks man, the truth is that it is not worth using a car worth millions for this taxi business, when I was driving the Mercedes some trips annoys me to my bone marrows. To carry along self people ppl go dey fear to enter.

But with the nissan I don't feel it when I end trip and see 700 naira or 500 naira, I just say in my mind "how much you even buy the moto"

I bearly use up to 4 litter of engine oil for servicing, oil filter is 700 naira. It is really a big relief not to even talk of how much I save on fuelling.

Buying this car was a very good decision I made.
And ur car is 2009 model abi?, no be some 2003 car person dy almost use 2m buy wan come kill person pikin for rental abi HP because the parts full every Street for Lagos abi Nigeria.

I agree with you, Dy also 4get dat uber/bolt drivers are already tax payers, remember Uber/bolt ask for ur TIN tax identification number on registration.

The truth is Lagos is run by a thief, who only cares abt ppl dat are loyal to him. There is money in transportation business so Lagos govnt wants in. Nigeria govt hates graduate, pensioner's, businessman etc Dy see them as competitors. Look around hw many jobs has Lagos govnt provided for graduates even the new governor has no creativity.
PoliticsRe: LASG To Revive Badagry Food Production Centre, Commitment To Food Sufficiency by Slickleo: 1:02pm On Aug 10, 2020
postbox:
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has said that the State Government will revive the 279-hectare erstwhile Songhai Food Production Centre, now the Lagos Food Production Centre in Avia, Badagry.

Sanwo-Olu, who made this known over the weekend in Badagry while on a site inspection tour of the Centre, explained that this was necessary for preparation for the take-off of the State Government’s two food centres designed to attain food sufficiency, particularly for a population that is increasingly demanding.

The Governor pointed out that reviving the 279-hectare Food Production Centre, originally acquired by the State Government in 2012 for a commercial agricultural project, would encourage organic farming using simple biological methods to enhance production outputs with a model, based on new approaches and farming systems that rely heavily on the combined inputs from local experiences, indigenous technology, business communities and research institutions.

He said, “I have been fully briefed about this project but I considered it necessary to personally embark on this journey to Badagry in order to take an assessment and see what exactly we need to do in terms of intervention. After taking a tour of the project site, what I observed is that the entire project looks more like a job that has not been completed. Therefore, we need to improve on the interventions by the Ministry of Agriculture”.

“With very minimal resources, we have seen what the Ministry has done to keep the project afloat. The government will raise the resources and turn around this project to the level it should be. We will need to deploy more resources to revive and scale up all the machinery and systems already put in place. We will complete the project and open it for commercial production”, the Governor averred.

According to him, focusing on local food production would increase agricultural production to meet the food needs of the State’s growing population, transform agriculture to commercial and export-oriented production while at the same time generating employment especially for the youth, adding that some of the agricultural projects to be developed for commercial production at the Centre include fishing, poultry, piggery and agroforestry among others.

Sanwo-Olu averred that apart from delivering wholesome food items, training and creating employment for youths, the Lagos Food Production Centre would also provide competitive inputs/raw materials for the Agro-Industry, new environmental products and services, and feedstock for renewable energy supply.

The Governor added that the project will give rise to similar agro-allied businesses to open up Badagry’s economy for more growth, while also boosting its tourism business.

“Lagos is a big State in terms of population, but we also can intervene in our food production value chain. What we are trying to do with the revival of the project is that we want to produce various agricultural products we can consume internally in order to reduce our dependence on external food sources. The Food Production Centre, which we are creating across the State, will be a trigger to other value-added agricultural production our citizens can provide”, he said.
