Nairaland GeneralRe: Decline of Mother Tongue; Causes and Consequences by slimes(m): 4:44pm On Sep 14, 2009
The world over langauge is an identity. It is what brings the Arabs, Chinese, French, English and a whole lot more together. Even now there is a language conservation institution set up that rejuvenates the dying cultures of the world. It is an important thing to be identified as being original and not as copycats after all we're not English men or the likes.

PoliticsRe: Sanusi's Cartoon by slimes(m): 7:56pm On Sep 13, 2009
The Central Bank is more than one man but when things go bad they point at the head not knowing that the head is dead without the other parts of the body. Certainly, success has many friends but failure is an orphan. The mouth must not bite the finger that feeds it.
PoliticsRe: Saturday Sun Reports: Gani Long Overdue For Nobel Peace Prize. What Say You? by slimes(m): 7:51pm On Sep 13, 2009
Gani, the great activist is certainly to be immortalized. He could have become president if he went to politics but chose to be humble. As regards Nobel Prize, he is too popular among the humble, neglected and dejected who have been denied justce. I guess he did not want to have it. A mere award does not speak much but there is more to it in the hearts of men. He touched the hearts of men and would be forever missed.

HealthRe: Gums Bleeding While Brushing by slimes(m): 7:24pm On Sep 07, 2009
It must be a painful experience. As one who has experienced such b4, I would advice you reduce your sugar intake- those sugary foods. Please also take a lot of almost ripe oranges, it helps and steps up on antibiotics. U can get it naturally from scent leaves. I advise you to blend it and filter the extract. It should be taken as when needed bt not too often cos it may also be a stomach flush.
