It was normal and very very simple to see Jesus.
But this advisers make seeing presido to discuss solutions to ASUU problem seem out of this world.
Maybe ASUU is taking the presidents humility and meekness for stupidity and weakness. It is getting obvious that they have lost public sympathy! Our children have been at home for 6 months now for christ's sake! To hell with ASUU and the FG!

PoliticsWorld Bank To Adopt Anambra’s Education Module by slimghost(op): 1:14pm On Nov 07, 2013
WORLD Bank officials from Abuja, led by the Country Director, Me Marie Francoais Marie-Nelly, arrived in Awka yesterday for the kick-off of the Anambra State Education Programme Investment Project(SEPIP), which is part of his “Final Push,” towards the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

The project involves $150 million among Anambra, Ekiti and Bauchi states.

Speaking on the project, the Senior Education Specialist for the World Bank, Prof. Tunde Adekola said Anambra State was selected for World Bank intervention because Governor Peter Obi demonstrated accountability by using available resources to deliver better education results.

He said that the World Bank would adopt Obi’s direct disbursement of resources to end-users since it had evidently worked in the state.

Adekola said the criteria for selection was based among states that had demonstrated great support to education on their own, while the World Bank was working to encourage them.

“We shall from time to time evaluate what Anambra is doing. Once we see improvement as it is now, we shall offer more support.”

Part of the assistance will go in the area of special employment and training of teachers in core subjects of English, Mathematics and the Sciences.

The delegation later visited Queen of the Rosary Secondary School, Onitsha, Dennis Memorial Secondary School, Onitsha; and Christ the King College, Onitsha witnessed the handing over of the cheques of N30 million to the three schools for continued infrastructural development and said that they were impressed by what they saw in the three schools.

The World Bank had to commission the team from Oxford University led by Prof. Collier to study what Anambra State is doing in the education sector that led to the noticeable improvement.

Meanwhile, Obi has presented a cheque of N1.5 billion to the schools in the state as part of the continued efforts by his government toward their rehabilitation, assuring that he was committed to all levels of education.

Marie-Nelly said she was overwhelmed by the level of infrastructure she witnessed in schools in the state and thanked the governor for that.

She advised students to work hard to enable them equip themselves adequately to compete with others anywhere across the world. She said with internet connectivity and computers in schools in Anambra State, she was confident the state was on the right path.

PoliticsRe: Uke Stampede (survivors Account) by slimghost(op): 3:46pm On Nov 04, 2013
I hope this puts a stop to all the lies going around. Let us respect the dead and not try to score cheap political points with such a tragedy! It's disgusting!
PoliticsUke Stampede (survivors Account) by slimghost(op): 3:43pm On Nov 04, 2013
A survivor, Comrade Aloysius Attah, Chairman of the Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO) in Anambra State, who was at the vigil with his wife, recounted the stampede.
He said: “I was there and my heart is bleeding with all these stories making the rounds about the ugly incident. At a time everybody should be mourning, you can see they are politicising it. Why would it be so? I was there and if I wasn’t there, it would have been a different thing. I would have been deceived by all the stories I am reading and or hearing from some political quarters.
“What actually happened was that the Spiritual Director of the centre, Rev Fr Emmanuel Obimma, asked for the final prayer.
We raised our hands and prayed and at the end of the prayer, everybody started going home.
“I was with my wife. As we were going, we suddenly saw people rushing back and, judging the crowd that was unprecedented in the arena, I sensed that there would be a stampede and because we didn’t know what actually caused the rush back, I positioned myself to escape the possible ripple effect and rushed away from the traffic. I went the adjacent way.
“But, immediately in a spontaneous move, my wife was already under the surging crowd, but I mustered my last strength to shield her and I dragged her to my corner to save her from being trampled upon. It would have been a different story by now. At the end of the stampede, many were revived and those who were at the scene where it started revealed that somebody shouted, fire! fire! because of a spark from the frying pan of a woman at the road side frying plantain. People started rushing back, thinking it was a fire.
Attah said people should be concerned about the families of those who died and stop overheating the polity because of selfish concerns. He said the situation worsened because of the number of motorbikes on the road at the same time as some fell over motorbikes.
Another survivor, Ikwunne Nriezeadi, said he volunteered to assist in the revival of victims and to ferry others to the hospitals for medical attention. He said he heard people saying that it was politically- motivated.
“Whatever they are saying, I don’t want to take up issues with politicians who are mentioning peoples’ names.
“It was on the way back home that people started rushing back and started trampling on others. I personally heard people shouting ‘go back!’, ‘go back!’ and that caused panic and tension. So, we started assisting them to the hospitals and at the hospital they carried the dead into the mortuary.“
Another witness, Kenechukwu (surname withheld) insisted that the woman frying plantain was the secondary cause of the incident. He wondered why people should be shouting fire when such a huge crowd was surging.

Its obvious that these APC clowns see APGA,Obi and Obiano in their dreams. While Obiano is busy selling his manifesto to the people, Ngige and co are busy with slander and cheap propaganda. Well, November 16 is almost here.

You were beating yr chest as though you were sure of yr big fat lie assertions

You have to pray and observe a fast for the next 30days for spiritual cleansing occassioned by bad belleism against Ngige just because u don't like him
. Normally I wouldn't have replied a dunce like you but I just have to now for clarity sake. I never in any of my post claimed to be there. My first post was based on the 1st info I got but when I received a contracdictory report, I had to edit it. I have made about 4 calls to people in Onitsha and none of them said anything about pelting of pure water. So I ask again, where did osindefender get their story from?. I hope they are not the same goats managing Ngige's twitter handle because they are doing a poor job there. His handle is obviously managed by a deranged fellow due to the amount of senseless tweets there. Even his followers are beginning to call him to order.
PoliticsRe: Obi, Obiano Pelted With Sachet-Water By Onitsha Traders During Market Campaign by slimghost(m): 10:34pm On Oct 28, 2013
FreeGlobe: but your people are saying obi is in Israel while Obiano did not visit the market at all. This confusion is obviously made in hell grin
I don't know which to believe anymore. One person said no rally was held and another told me that there was an APGA rally in Onitsha today. Though one thing is for sure, there was no pelting with pure water. Osundefender is a junk site.

Ok. I just pull a call through to my friend at Manin market Onitsha and he laughed hysterically at the junk news. He confirmed that that no such thing happened. So where did Osundefender get this fake story from? Hiaaaan

mikeansy: People seeking public office need to be vetted fyi

So there is nothing wrong attacking Willie Obiano and questioning what he has done for Anambra to merit the office of Governor

His records show that he has not don't much! Whether through his investment or through his service to the people I am yet to see a man who deserves to be a Governor.

If the election is free and fair he will have a hard time!
Failed analysis! Election credibility is not based on what you have done for Anambra people alone otherwise any money bag can buy his way to Zik's house. Rather this is about credibility, fiscal responsibility and track record (career wise). Sane people ask questions like:

1. Is he fiscally responsible?
2. Is his credibility intact?
3. What about his managerial skills.

Clueless people ask such questions:
1. Have much has he shared.

Please be guided!

mikeansy: FYI I have seen this list before

There are countless numbers of business men who do these in their communities and they are not even trying to be councilors. So this does not in anyway distinguish him
Stop beating about the bush young man! You asked for a single contribution of his to humanity and i listed a few. Distinguish or not, the point remains that questioning the man's Anambraness like Afam4eva did is mischievous and unguarded. Simple!

I watched the news report about this same issue and it was a total opposite of the scenario being painted by the OP
I wonder why people would use the name of an ordained priest for such propaganda. It's quite condemnable if this is false.

Am not here to criticize any candidate. All i can do is drum up support for my own preferred candidate. But in the process of supporting our preferred candidates, let us not stoop so low as to distort facts about other candidates.
PoliticsRe: Ekwunife May Replace Obiano Over Alleged Double Registration by slimghost(m): 7:47pm On Oct 25, 2013
Afam4eva: Lol grin From this list, the only thing he has done for Anambra is the building of a fence for a school and not the school itself. What has doing something in Lagos and Houston have to do with Anambra. He should go and become the governor of Lagos or the mayor of Houston.
Stop clowning about MR. The post is there for any person to read and see the man's little contributions. I wont waste my time on you anymore. Daalu.
