He also said since February till the day the Nig govt picked them up , he never lacked good food, medicwtion and hospitality coutesy of the Chinese govt. All for free!

Something fishy abt the media reports Imo.

Alot is, Nigerians are being used by their western colonial masters to fan sinophobic statements against the Chinese.
They may have made mistakes here and there but not how the media puts them.

lol it's funny you guys think US allies are against the US. You don't have knowledge about the decades long alliance between America and Europe. Forget this talks in the end what Iran wants is Economic sanctions to be lifted and the weight of USA sanctions can NEVER be remedied even by a host of Nations like EU. They can keep buying arms from Russia and China lol by the time they hit economic rock bottom the people may revolt and enact regime change which is something the US is happy with.

what deal? You mean the worst deal of all time lol. Obama gave these guys hundreds of billions of dollars through executive privilege. No Congress. And after all that money and lifting of sanctions they weren't any guarantees that Iran wasn't gonna stop enriching uranium and also stop their sponsorships of chaos and militias in the middle east! These guys have been sponsoring Hezbollah and Houthi rebels in Yemen for decades now. Trump's impulsiveness is what made him order the killing of Soleimani who has been on Bush and Obama's watchlist since but it was only gonna take a man with guts to pull the trigger. Iran is not yet ready to breathe, its so fucccing easy, stop being a fucccing nuisance!!

You only have the energy to face Iran.
Is America not also sponsoring rebels in the middle east, have they not been sponsoring terrorists too, Iran is only defending themselves and extending their tentacles too, why blame them for playing a fair game.

In regards to Police relations, Nigeria is better. Nigerian police mostly wants money from you. If they should shoot and kill anyone, the chances are that they will be arrested and prosecuted right away.
The problem in the US is that the police will kill an unarmed black person and still claim they have done nothing wrong. Not only that, the Police Union will claim the officer didn't do anything wrong even when the whole world can see that the police is in the wrong. The city mayor and the prosecutor will also defend the police officers no matter how bad they behaved.
To make the matter worse, even when the are arrested and charged, the usually ALL WHITE JURY will eventually find them not guilty.

All of you supporting Trump, don't understand the history of Police brutality. It's not about one case, it's about a systemic institutionalized oppressive methodology that has been in place for DECADES. This is just the straw that broke the camel's back .

Trump is just making it worse with his open racist attitudes, unfortunately some Nigerians are more concerned about religion than their own race.

Leave them, they watch alot of American propaganda and think it was ever a good country.

I wonder how US media houses will report the "human rights abuses" that is about to go down.
We know how they would have reacted if something less dramatic happens in another country.
Just some few weeks back, the US was condemning "dictatorship" in Hongkong because the police
were fighting violent protesters.

They've been downplaying it.
The press are being attacked but they're not making it look like an American problem.
The pro Trump media are calling them rioters and looters, while his opposition media are just simply calling them protesters.
They don't even blame the US government as a whole, but can go and blame China for not even taking violent action against HongKong protesters.

You know nothing.
Any protest which doesn't disrupt public "peace" is not really a protest.
HongKong protesters vandalized, burned and injured people but
the government was accused of dictatorship by your emperor Trump's government
because the police were called in.

The police were even the victim in the HongKong protests but they're the ones fighting for freedom according to the west.

Trump has 3 classes of Nigerian supporters.
The religious, tribal, and political.

The religious because he is allegedly the first US Christian president who
will enforce Christian rules over the "heathens".
To some members of this group, Trump is even more important than Jesus.

The hateful tribalist because he validates their hatred towards others. A very hateful
man becomes an American president, it is like a miracle to the members of this group.
They see themselves in him, a hateful.

The political supporters are usually naive and ignorant.
They needed someone they can compare Nigeria to and choose Trump because
he says nasty things about oppositions.

Good sectioning.
Also I feel alot support them because it's just America. They've been wired to believe that America is always the protagonist in every story.
Once America calls any other country a terrorist country they would speedily agree because to them American intelligence can never be wrong.

I still don't understand why Nigerians support this man.

There is no superpower or serious country that will not do the same whether US, Russia, or UK. Valuable intelligence confers immense advantage even in corporate world.

In fact America's CIA is worst when it comes to eavesdropping to high profile conversations as well as compromising other countries' coded communications or classified information. They did it to Angela Merkel of Germany in the recent past by compromising her phone. Another classic example is this story by Washington Post:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2020/world/national-security/cia-crypto-encryption-machines-espionage/

My only concern is whether our own National Intelligence Agency (NIA) has the capabilities to gather economic, political and security intelligence that will give Nigeria edge at least starting from our ECOWAS brethren. That's why I was taken aback by the surprise and shock that followed the sudden hijacking of ECOWAS' proposed ECO currency by France in union with Francophone countries. The impression was that no advance intelligence was picked NIA about the efforts of Francophone countries to break ranks.

I've been reading the comments here and I can see alot of people are misinformed out of unfounded hatred for Chinese people.

The article above wasn't even written on behalf of African nations. it was clearly written on behalf of the countries who are most good at spying on other countries.

Imagine an article trying to discredit Chinese influence over espionage that is a routine activity of the US and it's allies.

Very very clear your brother is in the autistic spectrum and may also have a learning disability, maybe dyslexia

It's not the poor boy's fault that his brain is wired to see 17 and think it's 71,not his fault that reading appears so overwhelming..the alphabets musy appear scrambled to him & his brain can't cope.

Think about it,do you think he would choose not to know the difference between 17&71 by choice?

If someone gives you a book and places it upside down, would you be able to read it?

The poor boy must have been struggling for so long, his self esteem must be in tatters.

You and your family should see a paediatrician or a child psychiatrist or psychologist for a diagnosis then hopefully point you to a specialist that manages kids with learning disabilities

You all must be frustrated and i empathise but think of how much your brother is suffering.

That should be why he keeps to himself.
He's been suffering from neglect because of something that's not even his fault.

it's high time public awareness is made on kids with learning disabilities.

Interesting. Though am not a fan of Trump but the WHO have questions to answer. The DG is Ethiopian, Chinese aides come through Ethiopia for the rest of Africa, China has a lot of investment in Ethiopia including their high speed rail system. One can clearly see how China is using Ethiopia to undermine Africa's interest. But then, if Nigeria doesnt stand by the WHO's DG, we risk losing support for Adesina from other African nations in his current travails in the hands of US... so at the end, National interest is what should guide our decisions as a country.

I really don't get why alot of you feel China has control of WHO.
Even the connections you made doesn't still count.

Was kofi annan not the head of UN when the US and UK illegally invaded Iraq?

The US influence in international organizations is more than China's, even WHOs

And again, China has better investments in Kenya and Rwanda too, y'all are making false connections.
