A-40 i think you are very much getting my point of view wrong.

At this point in time i am choosing to focus on what is attainable before us i.e. at this point in time we are left in 2 competitons. The Premiership and The UCL. Like i said the other time, if you dont believe we can win any of the 2 then all well and good. But if you still have a glimer of hope  no matter as small it is then bear with me cos i still choose to believe we can.

From now till the end of the season, we cannot have a change of personnel. We can change our coach but we cant change our players. At this point in the season we are six points behind the leaders who, has evidet on the showing mid-week, can still drop points. Our run-in, the last leg of the season relataive to those above us means on paper we have easier opponents to deal with.

If it so happens that these people drop points, shoot themselves in the foot or what not, if we cant step up and use that to our advantage then very very bad for us. While we imploded post Birmingham in 07/08 if ManU had not stepped up to take that opportunity then they will not have been champions. At the time they were 5 points behind us, it was reported that Rooney was adamant they will win the league.

We have an opposite situation. 6 points adrift, easier run in, and players saying they believe the can. In my opinion i think at this point it will not be amiss for fans to shelve their criticism of the team or the boss or the club policy until the point having faith isnt going to do it. I have never questioned the ability of the players at Arsenal but i have always questioned the spirit. It is not out of place to imply that when a player without faith in himself recognises that others that matter have faith in him he will find encouragement in that. Almunia looks shot to pieces we say, yet he won us a point against Everton,  a point at Villa and anothe rpoint yesterday including of course Galllas awesome tackle. Why dont we as fans at this time of competiton choose to remind them abt what they did well instead of what they've not been able to do well.

If a player critisizes his own performance fine, if he complains against expectations of him in a match fine. . . .where i begin to draw the line is when you begin to mentuion names and criticise the performance of your own team mates. The truth is arshavin is perhaps the greatest critic of himself. Im fine with it. In the match that brought Traore's worst performance this season, he said it clearly that he was at fault for not covering.

What he shouldnt be doing, and i repeat it, what he shouldnt be doing is to single out players and criticising their performance in a public forum. Leave that to Geoff.
