TheABOMINATION:Being the Minister of Works for a nation should already keep him a workaholic. Ministries of Power and Housing should be ran by two different ministers with experience in respective areas. The logic behind assigning these ministries to a lawyer doesn't make any sense. There may be ulterior motives from expected kickbacks from projects, definitely not that he's the only one capable of handling three massive areas of any economy. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up accomplishing nothing. |
From now on, we should start drinking petrol, ba? |

Some people need to shut up whenever Nigerians are talking. Republic of Malawi is a landlocked country in southeast Africa that was formerly known as Nyasaland. It is bordered by Zambia to the northwest, Tanzania to the northeast, and Mozambique on the east, south and west. The country is separated from Tanzania and Mozambique by Lake Malawi. Malawi is over 118,000 km2 (45,560 sq mi) with an estimated population of 16,777,547 (July 2013 est.). Its capital is Lilongwe, which is also Malawi's largest city; the second largest is Blantyre, the third is Mzuzu and the fourth largest is its old capital Zomba. The name Malawi comes from the Maravi, an old name of the Nyanja people that inhabit the area. The country is also nicknamed "The Warm Heart of Africa". Malawi is among the smallest countries in Africa. Lake Malawi takes about a third of Malawi's area. The area of Africa now known as Malawi was settled by migrating Bantu groups around the 10th century. Centuries later in 1891 the area was colonised by the British. In 1953 Malawi, then known as Nyasaland, a protectorate of the United Kingdom, became a protectorate within the semi-independent Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland. The Federation was dissolved in 1963. In 1964 the protectorate over Nyasaland was ended and Nyasaland became an independent country under Queen Elizabeth II with the new name Malawi. Two years later it became a republic. Upon gaining independence it became a one-party state under the presidency of Hastings Banda, who remained president until 1994, when he lost an election. Arthur Peter Mutharika is the current president. Malawi has a democratic, multi-party government. The country has a Malawian Defence Force that includes an army, a navy and an air wing. Malawi's foreign policy is pro-Western and includes positive diplomatic relations with most countries and participation in several international organisations, including the United Nations, the Commonwealth of Nations, the Southern African Development Community (SADC), the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa COMESA and the African Union AU. Malawi is among the world's least-developed countries. The economy is heavily based in agriculture, with a largely rural population. The Malawian government depends heavily on outside aid to meet development needs, although this need (and the aid offered) has decreased since 2000. The Malawian government faces challenges in building and expanding the economy, improving education, healthcare, environmental protection, and becoming financially independent. Since 2005, Malawi has developed several programs that focus on these issues, and the country's outlook appears to be improving, with a rise in the economy, education and healthcare seen in 2007 and 2008. Malawi has a low life expectancy and high infant mortality. There is a high prevalence of HIV/AIDS, which is a drain on the labour force and government expenditures. There is a diverse population of native peoples, Asians and Europeans, with several languages spoken and an array of religious beliefs. Although there was periodic regional conflict fuelled in part by ethnic divisions in the past, by 2008 it had diminished considerably and the concept of a Malawian nationality had re-emerged. kaboninc:No country thrives when there are multiple exchange rates with spreads so far apart. Unfortunately that's the situation at hand in Nigeria. Obviously the masses is impacted, don't want to keep living their lives in circles and be taken as specimens from these experimentations from unstable policies. BDCs have one rate, CBN is forcing a much lower rate, money transfer businesses like Western Union etc have their own rates. Rates should be defined by the forces of demand and supply, not imposed on the populace. All authoritative bodies just need to sit together and decide is devaluation is the way out. |
MabraO:Seriously, I think some economics teachers in some secondary schools can be better alternatives to him. |
The dollars will be sold right back to BDC's at N513. 1.Naira will fall harder afterwards as there will be more demand. 2. The intended audience will not get anything, rather the banks will make profit from direct resale. CBN, shine your eyes. |
Sebastine1994:What has this crap you wasted my time reading got to do with Trump and K Michelle? Did you even read the topic? |
Principe67:I think you need to go back to your nearest community secondary school to start learning English from JSS 1. You're here complaining about someone else's English, yet yours is completely ridiculous. Focus on yourself first. When you can converse with people in the next village to yours in English without being corrected on your blunders, then you can criticize others if that's your preference. |
bantudra:That's not true, every child born in the US gets automatic US citizenship irrespective of wherever the parents are from, unless the parents prefer otherwise for the child. http://immigration.findlaw.com/citizenship/u-s-citizenship-through-parents-or-by-birth.html |
Zero. Using twitter for the Bubu we know is like asking a taxi driver to learn and apply advanced calculus, macro-economics, forensic accounting , complex organic chemistry, super-advanced physics, or any level of fiscal analytics within a few hours. This can lead to additional sickness for him and still keep him away from his job. Nigerians are smart people, just say Femi or Garba twitted that, definitely not Bubu. Trump tweets, Bubu waits for updates from those that can read, write and help him pass messages across since only a few understands him when he talks. |
I'm sure somebody somewhere is praying to become a cripple right now, so they can wear camouflage, then get beaten and rewarded. |
Egba mi ke. Who are these? |
lalasticlala:Lalasticlala responded to a post? I thought lala was a bot. |
I don't know him. Kidnappers need to focus on real enemies of progress if they must kidnap. Why this random person nobody knows? Start with those that ruined the economy to the point where kidnapping became a lucrative alternative for people like you. |
Ok. Is Nigeria going forward or backwards? How is this an invention? Does anyone expect the likes Mercedes, Audi, Toyota, Ford, Ford, Honda etc to think this is what they need now in 2017? Gerrarahiemen. Looks like something created people like lord Lugard (their lord, definitely not mine) were still running things. |
At least he chose to kill himself in Victoria Island, not Ajegunle, Ajamgbadi etc |
azimibraun:Chairman, u don dey again today? Nothing concern all these people wey u mention for this matter. It's ok. Sleep small, when u wake up, read wetin you post. You'll laugh at yourself afterwards. |
LorDBolton:I gree with you. TV and washing engine type of stuvvs didnt used to cos that mush. ...in Falz voice. |
Which washing machine, tv and other items fit reach $500k? Did he order a Rolls Royce as well? This story appears inflated abeg. |
Which kind broke assassins be these ones? N5000 = $10. You cant rven buy a pair of shoes with that. Na so person life cheap reach? Those assassins need to consider doing something else, like farming, with their time. Complete nonsense. |
TrapHedges:Would you bet your right ball in case they didn't sell their soul? Just making sure you lose at least one of them things. ![]() |
Why must everything be killed in Nigeria? Why do many countries prefer to keep certain animals alive, yet we keep killing and eating same animals some countries think should be preserved. Are that hungry? Are we that backward? The outside world already thinks we are savages no matter our levels of education, exposure and experience, why make them think they're right with acts like this? |
casttlebarbz:Simple. Just use photoshop. Only two steps. STEP 1: Carefully select the bundle you want from the pix STEP 2: Save it in a special folder on your PC. There you go, you now own a bundle and should be fine ![]() |
You can't compare Norway and Nigeria. If prisons in Nigeria were to look like this, millions of people will fight each other to go to this kind of prison. Even kings in some communities can't afford to live like this in Nigeria. |
What the heck is Opon Imo? A tablet or some type of educational toy? Not sure, what is it about and why is he being honored on it. Was something invented? |
Does it make sense to order pigeon peas from India? I think they meant India ordered from Nigeria. $100b no be joke o. |
This case still hasn't ended yet? In Nigeria, it appears there's a different justice system for the rich and another for the poor. If it was one unknown poor man, justice would have been served. |
greatgod2012:Don't mind him. Anyway, his hair is already gold color and can't turn noticeably grey. One year from now, he will become bald. |
Aroh48:Pls where is the cone-head region? |
speaktome:What makes you think he's rich? Because he's talking to white men? Do you know if he's the chief hunter in a community where some white men only came to order some animal skin? Do you know if the white men are just some hungry people in suits trying to pull some hustle? Just don't assume. |
Why the boxer shorts though? I bet that's weird for a foreigner. |
