He's not right in any sense at all. I have watched a YouTube video of him performing same song with Timi Dakolo. I have seen Timi's proof that he paid to remix the song. What else does Majek want?
I just see a drowning man capitalizing on his past glory. Rather than motivate newer and younger singers who saw same visions and chose to deliver them same way he did, he's hell bent on bringing them down with him.

It's actually very simple to drop a field from records in a database. It can be done within 1 minute and doesn't need the website to be down. It's just a simple SQL command. Even a newbie with the appropriate access to the database can do it within a heart-beat.

So, to validate if that record was changed from what it was last week is even much simpler. SQL queries on some tables within same database will reveal everything - last changed date, changed by whom etc and whoever changed it will be revealed and the exact date and time the changes was made revealed as well. So, now it's up to whoever made the change to explain why he made the change in a government database, what change control protocols were applied and under whose directive.

If that came up as an exhibit in court on this issue, the record of that change to the database will suffice, implying someone working for the Lagos state government around those records will be implicated.

At least, that's how it works in sane economies. We are dealing with technology here, not files and folders from the old days. Databases don't forget.

The lady has invited the police to check and verify some of her claims. This are hard evidences let no one be quick to defend or side anybody. Let proper investigation be carried out. The things a man can do in secret with and for a woman only God can save us and continue to cover our secrets.

I still don't understand why the police should be involved. Is this a criminal case or a civil case? Why should police spend resources to investigate a case that won't lead to an arrest and subsequent conviction? If she claimed he raped her, I'd understand.

We don't know. We've been dealing with leadership issues since I was a toddler. Nigeria is indeed blessed, the decision makers just need to be smarter than they are now.
Sometimes I wish all these politicians could be replaced by expatriates from other countries for just two years in an experiment, Nigeria will be completely transformed leveraging her internal resources, no need for loans.
Rather, we end up voting same old people back in, with their old ideas and thats all they know and impose on to us the new generation - formerly promised to be leaders of tomorrow.

Nigeria will end up in the losing end if our government takes that approach. For now, Nigeria needs the US more than the US needs Nigeria - the big brother factor.

Aside the travel issues, don't forget both countries do international trades. With the exchange rates, GDP and the standard of living in Nigeria the way it is now, it makes sense to note that we need them more than they need us.

However if Nigeria harnesses all the opportunities she's blessed with perfectly, we don't need anything from them and they will end up needing us more than we need them, and at that point we can start returning them to their countries from our airports like they're doing to our people now.

As it is now, it is either you don't travel out of USA or they lock you out completely.

His message said he lived in the US for years, implying he must have reasons to live there - probably to work, school or he's a legal resident. It won't make any sense if he wasnt allowed in the US if his reason for living there is still intact.
For example, some people have student visas, yet don't go to school which implies their school could have reported them for non-attendance which impacts their student's status, some people with visitors visas could have over stayed beyond periods they're allowed at some point and just assume their visa is still valid when they have violated it's use by staying much longer than expected without adjusting their status to inform them their stay may be longer than expected, etc.

The US doesn't care if he's related to one Tuface or he sang sometime before. Is he a US citizen or permanent resident? Does he have legal rights to live in the US? Has he violated some of their laws while he was in Virginia? If he's a visa holder, did he at any point overstay beyond the period he was allowed?

They have rights to enforce their laws on visa holders they don't feel should be allowed in their country if certain conditions aren't met or certain rules are violated, which every country does.
