Ya ! i was wondering because some folks don't know how color combination works for website and brand identity, colors is something we should consider when creating a website or brand identity, i particularly really like paying attention to color, because it really brings out the best in your designs if you have color sense,

some folks just dumb colors to website and put it up and main looking at it, they think it really look nice,

There are many research articles, books and websites out there that go into great detail about how colors interact with each other and how viewers interpret them. A very simple way to look at it, however, is to realize that when you place one color next to another color, they interact with one another and create the mood for your website or brand identity,

below are samples brand identity i created for clients, note : aren't trying to advertise myself to you guys, before some folks who don't know how to talk start throwing words, this just a small article and i think people with good sense of design should know,

you should read what i posted up there, you said, someone came to your office for a re-design i did, aren't waht you said huh ? well i must tell you this, since i started designing website have been able to come up with close to 80 different website, which all those website aren't my credit, they are for different web companies like you, who outsource the job to me, but rather the ones i have credit for are close to 5 to 10 also,

Now the one the one i was saying about credit thing, was a guy who gave a site to another designer and the designer messed-up with the website and the guy brought to me to design and ask me to put a credit and say the design weas done by the first guy, it really sound weird,

well that brings me up to an interactive website, what is an interactive website, people feel interactive is a flash website that has to do with sound and flash thing but a site like that of the school B is a functionality website, because it has to do with interaction with the people visiting it, take the Contact page as an example, so a functionality or interactive website is a site that involves the ability to talk to the customer or client, ! i'm asking you you a question and you giving me an answer, is that not a fucntionailty website huh ? good thread, with good thinking, not those ones am seeing on this forum

@afam you see when i saw your topic,  i said to myself that you going cause trouble on this forum,  well,  if a clients want a very nice website,  i mean an eye catching website,  not your so called  functionalty thing?  just give the clients what he needs,  you don't dictate to him want him he want,  i just did a website for a company, which he said,  he want a website that it's so flashy, when i mean flash, he wants flash intros, flash designs, then the normal page and well arrange colour combo,  which i did for him,  and he was so happy,  i asked him why he needs that, he said thats what he needs,  so what should i do,  you can't design a jack and instead of you to agree to that, u will be preaching about one so called crapy functionality,  na only u fit do fucntionality web portals,  ( kwepuseeeeeeeeeeeee ) no dey use that one bobo us,  here, ! okay lets take a business card for instance,  a good simple design business card can make a clients gives you a job,  abi  ? so accept that u can design a thing,  and stop all this functionalty today,  functionalty tomorrow,  abeg,  all your topics are so odd to me,

Functionality is far better than Beauty when it comes to web design. i mean, it helps for the site to look good, but not at the expense of professionalism.

Okay a friend of mine design one craze website, infact the site is asif someone leant a design today and he use the website for rehersals, lol now i asked how much was he paid for this site, he said he was paid N100,000 if you see the website meeeeeeeeen, you will flog the guy 24 lashes, so what am saying huh ? abeg leave that thing abeg, if u clients want F, giv him/her or he wants B give him/her,

what i think on his own is that, looking at 1000 clients, who does smaething like funiture or electrical thing, is just easy fr them to have that and change those colours, to their own colour thats what i think he is thinking, not the layout now, but at the same time, if u can also put a clean layout and intergrate those ur php thing, or make it a full CMS with nice layout., so that clients wil be able to change layout by themselves,

hahahahaha good post, at the end of the day, you tell them that here is the fee for such project at the end of the day they will tell you, one guy under the bridge did this thing for 10,000, haaaaaaaaaaaaaa and u tell them, why not give the same guy who did it for 10,000 for your friend??

well what a good thread, well collaboration is pretty good and even looking forward to collaborate with others, i was formerly working with a team, still work as a team though, thats if they pass the web interface design to me, the team is made up of 5, good team to say with good brains, my roles are to slices and dice the web layout and pass it on the coder, other guys come for review to check if this and that goes, if the color combinations are ok, if the logo is really saying what they do and all that, mainly my role is just the Interface designs, after slicing and dicing, pass it on to d coder, who now codes it, because he will like to make sure everything works fine on the back ends, then he uploads the file him selves,

Even though i have experience of coding i don't do it, i just pass it on to who ever i know who does it, it's another thing to specialize on one thing, it another thing to be very good at it.

Now when it comes to software development, sometimes when i'm free i just do the interface designs, pass it on to d Java or VB guy, then they put it up in the software, after that, everyone comes back to review the software and criticize it,

Now the issue of freelance creative guys, the thing is when job is been executed, you can have 3 of your friends who has graphical sense to criticize it for you and when they are done, you go back to the drawing board and tune up your radio very well to get a clear frequency. So i love collaboration

outside nigeria, 10 people could handle a 5page website, and it will come up fine, different roles for each person.

i don't have regret of working with teams either, but what i hate is when they use u like crazy

na ! Ya wa she needs an encryption software that can encrpt php codes or any other programming languages, humm once have, will check for that and give it to you,
