we are talking about diff btw two, not who is the best, if i start to mention names, alicia keys is no where. you don't know anything about instrument just becaus you do see her play piano ! true she is good. you can see she plays piano and not keyboard

Lets us talk about Instrument,  Different between Keyboard And a Piano,  most times they also say a keyboardist and Pianist.

A keyboardist is a person who plays keyboard to form a music,  just like you playing a yahama keyboards like PSR1000,2000,3000,2100, e.t.c,  they don't have good output of sound dispite the fact that you can mix those voice and tune them together, they can give you a good sound,  they are digital.

A Pianist : is a Person who plays a piano to form a sound or music such as GRANDPIANO, Korg Triton, Synthesizer, Roland Piano, those are live Piano, which you don't really need a sustain pedal to play with it,  unlike Keyboard, 

For instance the white gospel artist like Don Moen, Kurt Carr, Don, Kirk Franklin and host of others plays Piano because it gives them good and live sound. unlike the keyboards our churches use today,  why most churches now in nigeria are now using Piano,  i can't see myself playing the keyboard again because if you really want to be a core Pianist or keyboardist you need to Jump to a Piano and play. ! in my church i play the piano, we use Korg Triton with  alot of keys to run the Apegio,  if you are keyboardist or Pianist you will understand what i meant by that,

A keyboard keys are just softs very soft to play with, why the piano keys are a bit hard when you play them and that gives you leverage among others when you play Piano instead of playing keyboard,  advice your church to buy piano instead of keyboard if you really want nice music and you will understand what i'm talking about

a keyboard is very easy to understand for a learner who is just starting to play music,  why Piano is a lot different and confusing, if you don't know how to play keyboard in the first instance, you woun't know what to do when you get on that piano

Infact i will say it a stage,  from keyboard to piano.

I enjoy playing piano very well and i prefer that to keyboard,  !

I Like nigeria for one thing, they like to shine eyes before the loose their hard earn money ! lol
