Stop looking for achievements where the is none.

For inflation rates, they were basically just rebased.
Is that not normal practice? Was the previous rate not at one time also rebased? Does rebasing the inflation rate, necessarily mean inflation must automatically come down? Can't it also trend upwards regardless of rebasing?

Some criticisms make no sense.

Unfortunately, thats what a lot dont know....

I would have easily tipped Liverpool to 60% chances of winning the league considering their start to the season....

people even fail to realize they havent gotten to the middle of the season and even Chelsea is a strong contender...

I will start taking any team serious after 20 games
That's a sign of poor ball knowledge. No offence. Because it was obvious that Liverpool were very lucky at the beginning of the season and fans were already complaining about Slot.

He's not making any sense. Mahmoud was discredited by who exactly??

I understand some section of the public may hold the view that he engaged in electoral fraud. But until a court of law pronounces a verdict on such or some other credible body declares so, there's absolutely no reason to deprive him as a Nigerian from any opportunity available to other Nigerians.

Tinubu gives a directive, and those who are expected to carry it out flaunt it with a bold face. Tinubu sees that his directive has been flaunted yet moves on as if nothing has happened.

It is obvious that Tinubu is not in charge of his government. In fact, Tinubu’s regime is the most lawless in the history of this country.

Photos with people that he cannot direct, order or command. People that are not answerable or accountable to him. Funny country.

The rumpus in the Legislature yesterday and on the airwaves this morning about the Abaribe inquest into who ordered the withdrawal of security officials just before the the mass abduction at the school is enough proof that the structure you see represented in the pictures above is not fit for purpose.

Till now the governor of that state has not gotten an answer and may never get one. Will Mr. Sanwo Olu get an answer if as they say 'the s**t hits the fan.
Well this is one of the areas where Lagos is simply different from other states. In Lagos there is what we call the Lagos State Security Trust which is a pool of private funding that goes toward equipping and taking care of security officers under this body. This helps to ensure that they are usually well motivated to respond to the security needs of the State.

This is a man I hold to a very high esteem, but because of one known drug baron and certificate forger he lost himself due to tribal sentiment. Any educated man who sees things from the perspective of religion, tribal and political is a waste and a burden to humanity. What a country!
Wole Soyinka has said several times that Tinubu is his friend. Thus, this is one of the hypocrisies that one can easily understand and overlook without taking succour in unnecessary tribal theories.

Do say that. Don't human voices accompanied the orchestra just that the voice back up was largely small. Signalling massive rejection of the song among the judiciary.

But the question is why was the song not stopped as such hypocrisy should not have marred the judiciary s programme?
Stopped as in, the judges should have gone to squabble with the presidential band as the president is on his feet? Why do you people just reason in a one dimensional manner?

Congress (APC).

Top sources within the Presidency told SaharaReporters on Friday that the ongoing wave of defections from opposition parties to the APC is being powered by jaw-dropping financial packages, coordinated directly from the Presidency and supervised by senior government officials around Tinubu.

According to the sources, each state governor who has recently defected to the APC got a total package of N250billion.

"This money is released in two tranches; there is a N100 billion “grant” upfront once commitment is shown, and a balance of N150 billion after the formal defection ceremony," one of the sources revealed.

“So, the state governors defecting to APC get a total N250billion, senators N1billion, and members of the House of Representatives N500million,” he said.
So the answer to the question was Sahara Reporters. That's all I wanted to know. Thanks.

Nigeria Judges are now singing “On your mandate” while standing at the 2025 Nigerian Judges Conference..

don't see any judge singing. The only person visibly singing is Woke Olanipekun, who is a lawyer, not a judge. The judges were merely standing which is protocol because the president was on his feet. The only question is why that particular song was played by the band, at that moment. That was out of order but leave the judges out of it.

Precisely what I'm saying: Swinging is an amateur/street way to throw a hook. You can land a powerful hook within a 45 degree angle if you understand the technique.

If you say this then you haven't worked as security aid to top government officials, it is part f the training, even as an aide, the are things you have to do to protect the image of your boss
Mention one example of an incident involving a verbal altercation like Wike's own, with respect to a high-ranking official - anywhere in the world - where his security aides bundled him against his will away to protect his image.

You won't stop and think before typing and you want to force everyone to be like you. Why?

Read the article again, all those aspects are covered, security aides goes beyond escort, it entails managing the boss temperament so as not to cause public embarrassment
This writer is talking for the sake of talking. You know fully well no one in Nigeria or even anywhere else in the world can willy nilly bundle their boss away from a scene just because they think he is embarrassing himself. You'll be out of a job the next day.
